I’m sure we all love SaladStop! with our all. I mean, which other restaurant cares so much about their carbon footprint and their impact on the environment? From sustainable sourcing to biodegradable cutlery, SaladStop! has always hoped to make their customers ‘Stop!’ to take a moment and think about where their food comes from and consider how every meal impacts the environment. But they have now returned with something new – their very own plant-based grocer called ‘Good Food People’! And best of all? It’s available to all on Deliveroo!
When so many of their customers were hell-bent on purchasing menu items such as dressings and plant-based proteins, they thought this would be another opportunity to contribute to the environment’s well-being. Today, Good Food People is here as a miracle to help all of us make sustainable swaps in our kitchen, to become another step closer to becoming a sustainable household.
SaladStop! knows how busy the life of a Singaporean is. After an excruciatingly long day, sometimes we don’t even have it in us to cook up a meal, and we often resort to unhealthy alternatives like instant noodles or junk food. Hence, this initiative empowers their customers to make healthy and sustainable meals with less effort and a lower price tag, while still leaving your dining table with a huge smile! Ladies and gents, Good Food People are here to make our lives easier and better, and we’re all for it!
You will now have over 150 plant-based essentials at your very fingertips – tap here, tap there, and they will be at your doorstep too! On Deliveroo, you will be spoilt for choice by the wide range of ready-to-heat, plant-based meal kits, sauces, beverages, dips, and cakes made with SaladStop!’s very own unique recipes. However, you also have options from other renowned plant-based brands like Impossible Foods, JUST Egg, Beyond Meat, OmniMeat and TiNDLE.
And of course, like any other grocery store, you will be able to purchase fresh fruits, vegetables and dry goods – but even better, since on SaladStop! they are all ethical and sustainably sourced!
To celebrate this start of something new, on Deliveroo, you will be able to find some promotional bundles available from 1 November onwards, that will get your heart racing and your adrenaline pumping! In the pre-Good-Food-People era, if someone had told me that eating sustainably was difficult, I would drop everything to rant with them about how much I agreed yet hated that something so good for the world is so hard to do! But now, I would ‘Stop!’ them (see what I did there?) and show them this blessing that has come into our lives to make our everyday meals so much better – in terms of price, taste, quality, and of course, the good it does to our planet!
Doing good for our planet with our meal choices used to be so tricky, but I’m so relieved that every single day we are advancing towards making this more accessible and straightforward. That is objective evidence that we are moving forward, and I look forward to what the future holds as well.
