Is A New P!nk Album Coming Soon?

Here’s the short answer: We’d like to believe so, yes. Pop stars (and their elaborate marketing teams) usually set out to make some waves before new music is announced, and Pink has made a few visits to the headlines recently. To make our case, here’s why we’re expecting a new release from the pop-rock diva soon:

1) She’s penned The Ellen Show’s new theme song

“Let’s have a little fun… today!” That familiar jingle has been around for about as long as anyone can remember, but Pink has stepped up to write and perform the new song, titled “Today’s The Day“. The new theme song accompanies the 13th season of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show“, and is pretty karaoke-friendly save for that riff before the chorus.

2) The timing’s just right

Pink has released 6 studio albums over an impressive 15-year career (and this excludes her live albums and compilations). From her debut “Can’t Take Me Home” back in 2000 to “The Truth About Love” in 2012, the 36-year-old hitmaker has planned a release almost every other year. What’s stopping her from dropping an LP soon?

Then again, she teamed up with Canadian singer-songwriter Dallas Green (of City and Colour fame) just last year. The collaboration, titled You+Me, resulted in the release of a 10-track folk album titled “rose ave.“, fully recorded in just one week! Does this mean a solo album won’t arrive for another year or two?

3) She can SAAANG

4) Just a perfect role model tbh

She’s a rock star, a loving mother, an acrobat, a performer, and a legend. Standing out in the early-2000s (a.k.a. the age of Britney) as an anti-pop starlet of sorts, Pink has always been breaking barriers and stereotypes. With her raw vocal talent and ear for hooks, we can’t wait to hear what she’s got in store.
