Good Things Come in Tall Packages: Starbucks Holiday 2023 Line-up

‘Tis the season to be jolly as Starbucks rolls out a new seasonal line-up, so deck the halls and get ready for a nostalgia trip as we welcome new holiday beverages, the return of savoury and sweet treats, as well as a blissful collection of vintage inspired merchandise!

Starbucks’ Tasteful Trio

With the holiday season approaching, I’m looking forward to getting to gather with my friends and family for good cheer, as there’ll be parties for hosting, marshmallows for toasting, and now this year with coffee beans roasting as Starbucks is ready to bring out our festive spirit by rekindling that joy and holiday nostalgia with their new holiday drinks — Gingerbread Latte, Toffee Nut Crunch Latte, and Peppermint Mocha.

Starbucks Holiday 2023 Line-up: New Flavours
You may not want a lot for Christmas, but these drinks are just the thing you need

The new whipped cream-topped trio are all priced at S$7.90 (Tall), with the Gingerbread Latte expertly blended with Starbucks’ signature espresso roast with hints of spicy gingerbread flavours.

Or, if you’re looking for the perfect beverage to cosy up with your loved ones, the Toffee Nut Crunch Latte infused with rich and buttery toffee nut, paired with subtle notes of toasted nut, is the perfect beverage for that.

Don’t forget the festive favourite, Peppermint Mocha, inspired by iconic seasonal treats, is a cupful of chocolatey joy with minty notes, sprinkled with red and white candy bits to bring out your festive spirit. Sounds sweet and refreshing to me!

Piquant Pies & Delectable Desserts

Why not pair those festive drinks with an equally festive treat? Welcome the wonderful warmth of wintertime wonder with a wide selection of both savoury and sweet holiday treats, specially crafted to make your festive season even more memorable.

You might just want these treats for your own, more than you could ever know

Try out the Turkey Bacon Broccoli Pie or Rosemary Turkey Cranberry Pie at S$7.50, if you’re seeking a heartwarming meal. Stuffed with aromatic rosemary-infused turkey and tangy cranberries, before being topped with a delectable mushroom and cheese melt.

But if you’re a chocolate lover like me, hold on to your Christmas stockings when you hear what Starbucks has to offer this year. An array of sweet treats, including the Earl Grey White Chocolate Muffin (S$4.50), Chocolate Hazelnut Praline Cake (S$7.90), and something I’m also eager to get my hands on, the Trio Chocolate Cake created by Awfully Chocolate for Starbucks (S$7.90), a special collaboration with Awfully Chocolate who concocted a multi-textured, triple-layered chocolate cake featuring velvety white chocolate cream, lucious milk chocolate, and a rich dark chocolate sponge.

Otherwise, you can savour other dessert-centric items like the Apple Crumble Cheesecake — a marriage of apple crumble and creamy cheesecake dotted with apple chunks then topped with lotus crumble for an added crunchy texture, or the  Christmas Berry Pistachio Cheesecake — a perfect combination of pistachio cheesecake and smooth berry mousse, sprinkled with pistachio nuts and a biscuit base. These two new cheesecakes come with a classic flavour profile that you can enjoy this holiday season for S$7.90 apiece.

Brews You Can Bring Back

Sometimes coffee at home tastes the best, so if you can’t get enough of those festive drinks and have a craving for them at home (like I often do), you can indulge in Starbucks anytime with their new festive homebrew coffee and tea collection.

Introducing the new Starbucks Christmas Blend 2023 priced at S$16.90, which evokes festive flavours of gingerbread, custard and fruit tarts, with its delightful hints of spiced chocolate and spruce tips; so now I can tell my loved ones that I can make barista-quality coffee from the comfort of my home when they come over during the festivities.

This aged Sumatran coffee is artfully blended with dark roasted beans sourced from Guatemala, Colombia, and Papua New Guinea, resulting in an intensely flavorful and robust taste that complements antiquated and modern preferences. The Christmas Blend is offered in three distinct roasting profiles: Blonde, Medium, and Espresso Roast, and is also available in two other brewing formats, including VIA Instant sachets and Origami Pour Over

Make your wish come true; all you really want for Christmas is Starbucks from home

Or instead, you can have the festive favourite Peppermint Mocha in the comfort of your own home or even on vacation with the VIA Ready to Brew Peppermint Mocha for S$7.90 (box of 4 sachets). Revel in the rich, full-bodied essence of espresso combined with the delightful flavours of chocolate, peppermint, and whipped cream, and let the flavours wash over you as you snuggle up and watch the Yule Log burn bright.

But if tea is more your thing, you’re still good for goodness sake, as Starbucks is bringing back the Starbucks Teavana Joyful Medley Tea to Singapore this year.

For S$16.90 (box of 12 full-leaf sachets), you can experience the joy of the holiday season with a harmonious trio of flavorful teas! A bold black tea is complemented by the sweetness of oolong and the subtle floral notes of jasmine green tea, resulting in a layered, radiant flavour with hints of apricot that pairs wonderfully with the season’s sweet delights.

A Charming Collection

Complete the festive meal by having matching drinkware and merchandise, as Starbucks ushers in this festive season with the arrival of the Blissful Homecoming Collection. Drawing inspiration from vintage book cover-style illustrations and the heartwarming tales of Santa Claus and his beloved companions.

Make sure not to miss out on a must-have for Starbucks enthusiasts — a reusable cup set showcasing different iterations of the iconic Starbucks logo of yesteryears to connect the past and present for a memorable holiday experience, priced at S$29.90.

On top of that, if you’re looking for a cheerful and convenient gift for your Secret Santa exchange, why not consider the exclusive Holiday Starbucks Card? Available as a physical gift card or an e-gift through the Starbucks Online Store, with a minimum reload of S$10.

Alternatively, get into the gift-giving groove by getting a Christmas Animals Bearista Cup Clip Blind Box for S$8.90, to find a furry friend who can accompany you when enjoying your next seasonal drink; the blind box includes either a festive fox, a fabulous rabbit or a friendly polar bear.
