Members of the DANAMIC team had the pleasure of trying out a few dishes from their Premium Buffet Set C, a one-of-a-kind lunch treat! And the best part? It’s Halal-certified, meaning that everyone from the company can enjoy it.

Spanish Seafood Paella Rice
The most prominent dish out of the lot, the Seafood Paella, came filled to the base. I was stuffed after just one serving. The tray was packed with the flavourful seafood combination of fish, shrimp, mussels, and clams, perfect for all seafood lovers.
However, I must also say that the dish was too tangy for my liking due to the abundance of tomato sauce.
Oven-Baked Atlantic Cod
Next up was the Oven-Baked Cod, which everyone had mixed feelings about. Although the cod was nicely baked and easy to cut into smaller bite-sized pieces, it was rather bland on its own.
However, the truffle-infused mashed peas were an excellent addition to the fish as they gave more flavour and paired well with the Seafood Paella Rice. The dish would taste better with more of the truffle-infused mashed peas.
Slow-Braised Beef Cheek
The generous portion of Slow-Braised Beef Cheek was everyone’s favourite — a mouth-watering dish that had everyone coming back for more and was gone in a flash!
I personally really enjoyed this because not only was the beef juicy, it was soft, too, making it easy to cut and chew. It was topped with bouquet garnish, pearl onions and mushrooms, giving that extra flavour. After going for mouthful after mouthful, this dish stood out amongst the rest. I will definitely be ordering this in the future if given the chance!
Grilled Asparagus & Spinach
I had reservations about the Grilled Asparagus and Spinach as I’m not a huge fan of most vegetables. However, the vegetable lovers in the team were blown away by how crunchy the asparagus was despite consuming it much later.
The torched Hollandaise gave some added flavour to the vegetables. Although I still wasn’t a fan after trying them, vegetable lovers will surely enjoy these.
Golden Panko Oyster
What is a premium buffet set without premium seafood? The Golden Panko Oyster was something new for everyone. With deep-fried oysters and scrambled eggs on the shell, this was a unique combination.
I prefer unfried oysters to keep the fresh taste, but it was alright overall. The eggs, however, were a little too mushy. Still, I highly recommend eating them in one mouthful as they taste much better together rather than separately.
Indonesian Style Whole Pangang Squid
Last but not least, my personal favourite dish was the Indonesian Style Whole Pangang Squid stuffed with stuffed spicy fish paste. I was initially sceptical about this dish because I thought mixing the fish paste with squid might be too overwhelming. But I was immediately proven wrong when I gave it a try.
The spicy fish paste had the perfect amount of spice and paired perfectly with the squid, which prevented it from having an overpowering fishy taste. Fair warning, though; the squid might be a little too big to eat in one mouthful!
