MARVEL Future Revolution Opens a New World for Mobile

The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has been an unadulterated success all around the globe, garnering fans from all ages and cultures. In recent years, the Marvel games department has also made headway through the release of the popular Spider-Man games from Insomniac Games, and making strategic partnerships with companies like games giant Square Enix for titles like Avengers and the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy game.

Mobile too has seen some love, with the likes of MARVEL: Future Fight on Android and IOS seeing over 120 million users since its 2015 release. Now, the developers behind the game are introducing their new Marvel adventure: MARVEL Future Revolution.

MARVEL Future Revolution is Marvel’s first open-world game on mobile and serves to be the successor to developer Netmarbles’s MARVEL: Future Fight.

Players can don the mantle of eight heroes—Captain America, Captain Marvel, Spider-Man, Black Widow, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Star-Lord, and Storm—as they traverse and explore varied locations in the open universe. And they can do so in style, with customisable costumes allowing for 400 million costume combinations for each hero; mixing and matching hairstyles and even footwear.

The game’s story is written by Marvel writer Marc Sumerak, who has worked on properties like Black Panther, Hulk and Avengers, and he is also behind the writing for 2019’s Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order on Nintendo Switch.

MARVEL Future Revolution’s backdrop is set against a situation where numerous Earths converge in the multiverse to form an entirely new ‘Primary Earth’. New locations are formed as a result, such as the futuristic New Stark City, the dangerous Hydra-ruled Hydra Empire, the rugged desert of Sakaar, and much more.

Explore Hydra Empire and vanquish the enemies within that occupy it.

In the way are goons like Ultron’s minions, the Kingpin’s thugs, soldiers of Hydra, and A.I.M. Scientists. But, of course, Marvel isn’t without its iconic supervillains, and players will get the chance to take down the likes of Yellowjacket, M.O.D.O.K. and Thanos as bosses.

Players can follow the main storyline when they take part in the Epic Missions, and they can also find Side Missions that unlock sub-storylines to experience. As players make progress through the story, the game’s multiplayer content will then unlock; featuring modes like Blitz, Special Operation, Raids, and more.

Those who want to try something more competitive can also experience the various PvP modes that range from a single person against another player, to matches containing high-calibre players as a 10-vs-10.

Netmarble has also promised that more content will be made available post-launch, and players can expect new additions like characters and storylines.

Players interested in joining the fight can pre-register the game right now on the Google Play Store or App Store! Doing so will also allow them to claim a costume for their hero inspired by Marvel Comics.

No launch date has been scheduled yet, but you can also keep up to date with MARVEL Future Revolution on their official social media on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or YouTube page.

The ’Omega Flight’ awaits you!
