If you have not been kept in the loop, CapitaLand just unveiled the pre-opening of their super mall, Jewel Changi Airport on Thursday, 11 April. The pre-opening gave approximately 60,000 people a sneak preview of what the mega structure has to offer for everyone visiting it. The mall stands at 1,443,000 square feet and it is the second largest one in Singapore, with VivoCity topping the list with 1,500,000 square feet. Thanks to full-time artist Nicholas Foo – who is one of the only LEGO certified professionals worldwide – you can now catch sight of multiple LEGO local attractions in the pockets of time that you have before your overseas vacation or after your homebound…

Street Superior Festival 2018: Everything You Need to Live Your Hypebeast Life
Ever been to a derelict power station on a hot and humid day to look at some sneakers? Yes, those sneakers that “cosmopolitan” Singapore youth dream about on a silver platter? Neither have I. Take my hand as I retell my meandering experience into a world of subcultures at Street Superior 2018. Despite the far-flung locale, I have to admit that the elaborate space-making lent itself well to a feeling almost akin to walking into the wrong classroom or jumping down into the rabbit hole. Think grungy London back alleys and joggers in Nike windbreakers – you know you like that…

Rose Quartz and Serenity: Getting Ready For 2016
After last year’s vitriol over Marsala, 2015’s Colour of the Year which Jezebel helpfully described as “the mould growing in your bathroom that no one will clean”, it seems Pantone has adopted a softer approach to their annual declaration of self-importance. For the first time since the yearly shebang started in Y2K, the international colour standards company (we like to call them The Rainbow Police) has just announced not one, but two Colours of the Year for 2016. READY YOUR BODIES FOR… AND… Rose Quartz and Serenity. So soft, so pastel, so very tumblr. But wait… Where have we seen those colours before..? Hmm……
