The LEGO Certified Store at Plaza Singapura reopened today, Friday, 6 November 2026, in a bigger unit two doors down at #03-20/20A. Its opening celebration runs until Monday, 9 November. The gifts on offer have daily caps, so if you’re building a Christmas list or feeding your own brick habit, when you shop matters almost as much as what you buy.
Bricks World, the retailer that runs the store, puts the new space at 2,292 square feet. It says that’s double the size of the old shop, and it describes the layout as “a more immersive and comfortable environment to discover, play, and build.” Anyone who has squeezed past a pram in a packed toy shop will see why that matters. Bricks World calls itself Singapore’s oldest and largest certified LEGO retailer, and it says it partnered LEGO Singapore on the country’s first LEGO Certified Store in November 2014.
Across the four days, the store is running gifts, a lucky dip, a crossword, two draws, three bundles and a return voucher. That’s a lot of moving parts, so the sections below sort out where the value sits and which rules can catch you out.
The Freebies Run Out Daily
The first 125 shoppers each day who spend over S$180 get a miniature LEGO Store Grand Opening set. The first 50 customers each day who spend S$88, with at least one set from the Botanicals, Architecture, Art or Icons themes in the basket, get the opening-exclusive Orchid Tile.
The caps reset every day, which helps if Saturday doesn’t work for you. Over four days, that’s 500 Grand Opening sets (125 x 4) and 200 Orchid Tiles (50 x 4). The Orchid Tile is clearly the scarcer of the two. If a Botanicals set was already on your list, that’s the gift to go after first.
Three Bundles, Worked Out
- LEGO Tintin Moon Rocket: S$187.43, down from a usual S$249.90.
- LEGO Arcade Machine + SEGA Genesis Console: S$93.60 for the pair, against a usual combined S$124.80. S$124.80 minus S$93.60 is S$31.20, which works out to exactly 25% off.
- LEGO Up-Scaled Santa Minifigure + Santa Key Chain: S$88, against a usual combined S$103.80. That saves S$15.80, or about 15% (S$15.80 ÷ S$103.80).
These are promotional prices for the opening.
The Lucky Dip, Read Closely
The sure-win lucky dip runs from 6 to 9 November. Check the store’s terms for the minimum spend before you queue.
Treat it as a fun bonus on something you were buying anyway, not a reason to spend.
Postcards, Draws and a Voucher
The Singapura, Rebuilt Crossword Challenge is the most charming extra on the list. The first 100 shoppers each day who make any purchase can solve a Singapore-inspired crossword and uncover its secret code to redeem a set of four Singapore-themed postcards. There’s no minimum spend, so it’s a nice one to do with kids while the queue moves.
Every purchase earns a S$20 off S$100 return voucher, which must be used by 30 November 2026. On a S$100 return trip, that’s 20% off. On a S$150 basket it drops to about 13% (S$20 ÷ S$150).
Signed-up Bricks World Members who buy anything between 10am on 6 November and 11.59pm on 9 November are entered automatically into a members-only lucky draw. There will be four winners, one per day, notified by email by 16 November 2026. The draw is open to those aged 18 and above who live in Singapore.
The longest-running perk is an Instagram draw for a LEGO Architecture Singapore set. To enter, post a Story or post featuring or relating to the new store between 10am on 6 November and 11.59pm on 30 November. Your profile must be public, and you need to follow and tag @legocertifiedstoresbricksworld. Entrants must be 18 or older and live in Singapore.
The one trap here is easy to miss: the winner has to show a store receipt as proof of purchase. Keep that receipt. The winner is contacted by Instagram Direct Message, and the store announces them in a post within seven days after the draw ends.
Who Should Buy What
If the Tintin Moon Rocket has been on your wishlist, this is the strongest deal of the four days. It has the biggest saving of the three. Retro gamers get the same 25% cut on the Arcade Machine and SEGA Genesis pair, at a price that leaves room for a second item.
The Santa bundle is the smallest saving of the three.
