Every ticket to JACOB‘s Singapore show includes a hi-touch session where fans can meet him, and that covers the cheapest seat in the house too. The THE BOYZ member brings “More Than Words” to Foo Chow Hall on Thursday, 21 January 2027, and tickets go on sale via Megatix this weekend.
Manila gets the first night of the January pair. JACOB plays Music Museum in San Juan City on Tuesday, 19 January 2027, two days before Singapore. The organisers’ announcement on 5 November calls the run his “first solo showcase tour of Asia”, and it began in Seoul in July 2026.
Five Years Between Two Records
If you only know JACOB as one face in a K-pop group photo, here’s the short version. He was raised in Mississauga, Canada, and debuted with THE BOYZ in 2017. He writes lyrics and composes for the group alongside his solo work.
That solo side started on SoundCloud, where he shared his own songs and released the mixtape KINDLE in 2021. Five years later came j., his debut solo EP, released in June 2026. According to the announcement, he wrote and composed on all seven tracks, so this is his own songwriting from start to finish rather than a record handed to him.
The seven songs trace a relationship from the uncertainty of a first attraction to the ease of knowing someone well. The title track is Slow Dancing, while Back & Forth features fellow THE BOYZ member SUNWOO, which gives fans of the group a little reunion on a solo record. Promise pairs him with Thai artist WONDERFRAME.
What Your Ticket Gets You
Start with the baseline, because it’s generous. Every ticket includes the hi-touch session and an exclusive postcard, whichever tier you pick.
From there, the four Singapore tiers stack up like this:
- VVIP: soundcheck access, plus a photo with JACOB in groups of five. VVIP holders go into draws for 10 one-on-one photos, 20 signed posters and 10 signed Polaroids per show.
- VIP: a photo with JACOB in groups of ten, plus draws for 15 signed posters and five signed Polaroids.
- CAT 1: 30 fans per show are drawn for a photo with JACOB in groups of 15, and ten signed posters go out by draw.
- CAT 2: five fans per show are drawn to receive a signed poster.
Where Your Money Goes Furthest
For most fans, VIP is the sweet spot. In CAT 1, the group photo depends on being one of the 30 fans drawn at each show, while every VIP holder gets one. If the photo is the reason you’re buying, VIP takes the luck out of the equation.
VVIP earns its premium if you want to watch JACOB’s soundcheck before the show. It’s the smallest group photo on offer, and VVIP is the only tier with a shot at one of the ten one-on-one pictures.
CAT 2 is the honest choice for anyone watching their spending. At the lowest tier you still get the hi-touch and the postcard, so you meet JACOB without paying for the extras.
Be Ready for the On-Sale
Tickets for both shows go on sale this weekend at 10am (GMT+8); check the Megatix page for the exact day. Log in to Megatix before then and save your payment details, because losing a VVIP slot to a slow checkout would sting.
The Manila Show
If you’re in the Philippines, or fancy a short trip, the Manila show runs on Tuesday, 19 January 2027 at 8pm at Music Museum, San Juan City, Metro Manila. Prices are VVIP (₱10,000), VIP (₱7,800), CAT 1 (₱5,500) and CAT 2 (₱3,800). The perks and draw quantities match Singapore’s tier for tier, so the same buying logic applies.
