Hairy Crab at Three Restaurants
Marina Bay Sands describes the crab as “brimming with golden roe, creamy paste and delicate sweetness”, and three of its Chinese restaurants are each taking a different route to it. If you’re weighing up hotel seasons around town, our breakdown of Min Jiang’s 2026 hairy crab season covers the Goodwood Park side of things.

Jin Ting Wan
At Jin Ting Wan (金蜓湾), Executive Chef Albert Li cooks Cantonese with crabs from Shing Lung Hong (成隆行). The menu runs from Hairy Crab Marinated in 2010 Vintage Dongqu Wine (S$148++ male, S$128++ female) to Ningbo Taro and Hairy Crab Roe Soup with Freshwater Shrimp (S$88++ per guest) and Deep-fried Hairy Crab Roe Custard (S$78++).

The bigger talking point is in the glass. Jin Ting Wan is pouring Dongqu Shaoxing Yellow Wine 2006, a huangjiu (Chinese yellow rice wine) that is exclusive to the restaurant in Singapore. The tasting notes list fresh almond, preserved plum and candied orange peel, and it’s sold at S$58++ a glass, S$168++ a carafe or S$528++ a bottle, served warm if you prefer.

The dish to build a table around is the Hairy Crab Roe & Tomalley with Steamed Organic Wuchang Rice and 10-Year Aged Zhenjiang Vinegar (S$68++ per guest).

Mott 32
Mott 32 is the pick for a full crab ceremony. Its set menu costs S$338++ per guest (minimum two) with a glass of Pagoda 10 Years Shaoxing Yellow Wine, moving from Hairy Crab Meat Ball in clear broth to Steamed Whole Hairy Crab, then finishing on Shanghainese noodles tossed with crab roe and scallion oil. A pair is looking at S$676++ before charges, so treat it as a birthday splurge, and an à la carte list of dim sum and roe-rich specials is there for anyone who’d rather graze.

Le Ju Xuan
Le Ju Xuan (乐聚轩) keeps it to two dishes, and one of them is the cheapest crab fix on the entire November line-up. The Hairy Crab Roe Xiao Long Bao costs S$22++ for four pieces, a gentle way to test whether the hype is for you, while the Sautéed Fish Maw with Hairy Crab Roe (S$98++) is for the already converted.

WAKUDA’s Autumn Haul
For anyone who’d rather skip the crab, WAKUDA spends November on Japanese autumn produce. The star is matsutake, the prized aromatic mushroom, sliced generously over warm rice and finished with rocket and a bright touch of sudachi citrus, while grilled sanma (Pacific saury) arrives with ginkgo nuts, shishito pepper, myoga and citrus. Lunch-set diners start with Miyazaki kabocha pumpkin in a light dashi soy broth, and persimmons picked at peak ripeness finish the meal. The matsutake rice is the one to plan a visit around, since it’s the most fleeting thing on the menu.

Thanksgiving Without the Oven
Yardbird Southern Table & Bar
Yardbird’s three-course set (S$68++ per guest) brings Beetroot, Goat Cheese & Pecan Salad, Oven Roasted Turkey with the trimmings and Pumpkin Pie, with The Bourbon Blessing cocktail at S$22++. Hosting at home instead? The Holiday Box (S$168+) has been open for pre-orders since 7 October, and you can add a whole Dutch Apple Pie or Pumpkin Pie for S$48+. For a friends’ Thanksgiving, this is the best-value seat in the resort.

Maison Boulud
Maison Boulud goes French-American, starting with Roasted Pumpkin Soup with duck confit (S$26++) before a Duo of Free-Range Turkey for two (S$128++) with Brussels sprouts, cornbread and chestnut stuffing, black pepper-cranberry sauce and gravy. Pumpkin Pie and Chocolate Pecan Pie are S$18++ each, and a tasting menu (S$98++) with optional wine pairing (S$68++) suits couples.

RISE
RISE turns Thanksgiving into a buffet: roast turkey with cranberry sauce, Kurobuta ham with pineapple chutney, Tomahawk shank with pilaf, Beijing duck and a Tajima roulade with enoki and Maldon salt. For takeaway, the Whole Turkey (S$168+) and Whole Ham (S$148+) both come with condiments.

Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer
Black Tap runs all November, with a Fried BBQ Turkey Sandwich (S$26++) with hot chilli oil, black garlic, Alabama white BBQ sauce and fries. Pair it with Lion Brewery’s Melaka Pumpkin Ale (S$18++), which the brewer pitches as caramel and molasses with a hint of cinnamon.

Sweet and Slow Weekends
Origin + Bloom
Pastry chef Christophe Devoille has teamed up with Origin + Bloom on four pastries at S$12+ each: the cherry and dark chocolate Cerise au Chocolat, the citrus-led Pamplemousse Doré, Éclipse Caraibe with Martinique chocolate and hazelnut praline, and the vegan La Goutte with blueberry marmalade. They’ve been out since 12 October, so don’t leave it to the last weekend.

📅 Until 22 Nov · 📍 Origin + Bloom · 💰 S$12+ each
Bread Street Kitchen
Bread Street Kitchen has refreshed its weekend brunch with plates made for sharing, including Lobster Benedict, Lobster & Prawn Toast, a Sausage Sandwich and Avocado Toast.
The sleeper hit for mixed groups is the Shakshuka with spinach, quinoa and a tofu scrambled “egg”, which means the plant-based friend finally gets a proper brunch plate instead of a side salad. Everyone else can fight over the lobster.

After Dark
Shades of Spago
The latest Shades of Spago sees Spago Bar & Lounge and Stay Gold Flamingo share the rooftop bar for one evening, pouring six cocktails (S$22++ each) and two zero-proof drinks (S$16++ each). Look out for Wild Fresh Sawa with basil and yuzu, and Dirty Bananas, which mixes cognac and cold brew with banana and honey. One night only means this is the easiest pre-dinner plan to miss!

MARQUEE Singapore
MARQUEE runs big room, techno, hard dance and Afro House across five nights. Swedish DJ KAAZE opens with deep techno and festival anthems, before UK hard dance name Gammer takes the Deepavali weekend with quick-fire mixing. Malaysian DJ JOVYNN brings hard techno and the viral edits that first built her following, then masked act Holy Priest joins German producer COLOR K!D for hard techno, rawstyle and hardcore. Australian producer LEVI closes things out with R&B-tinged Afro House. Gammer’s slot is the one to grab if you want a long weekend rave, while Holy Priest’s night is for anyone who likes it loud and fast.

Book These First
If your group can only do one crab meal, start with Le Ju Xuan’s dumplings and graduate to Jin Ting Wan’s roe rice with a glass of that 2006 huangjiu, which is the only thing here you can’t get anywhere else in Singapore. For Thanksgiving, Yardbird’s set wins on value, and its Holiday Box deadline arrives well before the holiday itself.
Pick your crab at the official hairy crab guide, lock in matsutake season at WAKUDA, and sort out the turkey through Yardbird or RISE before your group chat descends into another round of “so where ah?” Happy feasting!
