The giant screen at the front of the room read “The Ones Who Spark It”, with MILO and Kiehl’s credited as supporters and a TikTok sign glowing in lights at the foot of the stage. That was the view Luke and I had at Filmhouse, where TikTok named Singapore’s 11 Country Representatives for TikTok Awards Southeast Asia 2026. All 11 now head to the regional Main Event in Bali, Indonesia, on 27 November 2026, so if your For You page runs on Singapore creators, these are the people carrying the flag.

A Pink Card, Then the Names
The tagline came from the top. In her prepared welcome remarks, Candera Chan, Public Policy Lead for TikTok Singapore and ASEAN (the Association of Southeast Asian Nations), called “The Ones Who Spark It” the evening’s theme. She described creators as the people “whose ideas, passion, and perspectives give us something to learn, enjoy, and share”, which is a fair summary of why most of us open the app in the first place.

Partway through the programme, the screen flipped to a pink “TikTok AWARDS” card, and the category reveals followed. One of the slides I photographed named Kong Man Jing (@justkeepthinking) as “Singaporean Representative, Education Creator of the Year”.

Later, the honourees lined up across the stage, trophies in hand, under a screen reading “Singapore Press Conference / TikTok Awards Southeast Asia”.
Representatives, Not Winners (Yet)
The title matters here. TikTok’s newsroom post describes the 11 as “top-voted local creators”, meaning each one topped Singapore’s public vote in their category. None of them is a Southeast Asia champion so far, because TikTok plans to announce the regional winners at the Bali grand finale.
If you want a refresher on who was in the running and how voting worked, our October rundown of the Singapore nominees covers the full field.
Singapore’s Line-Up
Here are the Country Representatives named in TikTok’s list, with their categories and handles:
- Creator of the Year: Caitanya Tan (@caitofalltraits)
- Rising Creator of the Year: Dylan Chia (@dchtoons); Lynn Tan was on stage on behalf of Dylan Chia
- Education Creator of the Year: Kong Man Jing (@justkeepthinking)
- Sports Creator of the Year: Ash Hashim (@ashfutbolita)
- Lifestyle Creator of the Year: Joie Tan (@joiebaoz)
- Food Creator of the Year: Ng Jia Xin (@h0mec4fe)
- Entertainment Creator of the Year: Zaki Hussain (@zakiv4)
- Beauty & Fashion Creator of the Year: Clara Li (@clara.slays)
- Popular Video of the Year: Imran Shamer (@aimrun)
- TikTok LIVE Creator of the Year: May Suhan (@meivysu555)
- TikTok Shop Creator of the Year: Nicole Chow (@nicolechowww)
The spread of categories is the interesting part: with Food, Sports, Education, Lifestyle, LIVE and Shop alongside Creator of the Year, very different kinds of Singapore accounts will share the regional stage. Caitanya Tan goes as Creator of the Year and Dylan Chia as Rising Creator of the Year.
Next Stop, Bali
TikTok’s plan puts the regional showdown in Bali later this month. There, creators from across Southeast Asia will be assessed by a panel of industry specialists with regional expertise, including the ASEAN Secretariat, WPP and TikTok. As with any announced schedule, treat the date as the organiser’s plan.
🗓️ Date: Friday, 27 November 2026 (as planned by TikTok)
📍 Location: Bali, Indonesia
🏆 What’s at Stake: TikTok plans to name its Southeast Asia winners there
🇸🇬 Singapore’s Line-Up: 11 Country Representatives, one per category
Singapore’s team is set, and the trophies we saw on stage at Filmhouse are only the first round. Follow the TikTok Newsroom for the regional results on 27 November, and give all 11 of the line-up a follow on TikTok so you’re already watching when Bali calls their names!
