Deepavali 2026 Last Days: Where to Eat, Shop and Decorate

Deepavali falls on Sunday, 8 November 2026, and three festive picks close their doors that same week, so the last few days before the Festival of Lights are the only time left to catch them. This round-up is for anyone who still needs an outfit, a dinner plan or a few festive touches for the home, and it puts the bazaar, the feast and the décor run in one place.

Two Final Sessions in Farrer Park

The Deepavali Bazaar 2026 by Indian Inks x MasaLAH at LYF Farrer Park has two sessions left: Friday, 6 November, from 5pm to 11pm, and Saturday, 7 November, from 12pm to 10pm. More than 30 homegrown Singapore Indian brands are taking part. That makes it the strongest pick here for anyone who would rather spend festive money on local sellers than on another mall chain.

Entry is free. The Friday session runs until 11pm, which suits anyone shopping after work. Saturday is the last chance before the big day. The stalls include chai-shaped plushies (chai is spiced milk tea) and a photobooth that prints your snaps on receipt paper, and both appear in our bazaar guide. The guide also has tips on timing your henna so it looks its best at Sunday’s open houses, which matters if you plan to arrive with freshly stained hands!

A Five-Course Feast at SanSara

SanSara, at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore, serves The Diwali Feast. It’s a five-course set at S$88++ per person. The vegetarian and non-vegetarian menus cost the same, so a mixed table doesn’t have to split up. SanSara recommends reserving. Lunch runs from 12pm to 2.30pm (last order 2.15pm) and dinner from 6.30pm to 10.30pm (last order 10.15pm), and the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

The restaurant is led by Master Chef Pannalal Nath, whose cooking draws on Awadhi cuisine, the rich, slow-cooked tradition of Lucknow. Our SanSara feast write-up covers the full menu, and the course that pairs creamy Italian burrata with palak (spiced spinach) is the clearest sign that this kitchen enjoys a twist. It’s the pick for a sit-down family dinner where nobody wants to cook.

Biryani and Lights at IKEA

Floral bedding from IKEA.

IKEA Singapore has a Deepavali biryani set in its restaurant for S$14.50 for IKEA Family members, against a regular price of S$16.70, and the set is dine-in only until 8 November 2026. IKEA’s agency says the Alexandra, Tampines and Jurong stores serve it. Fuelling up there before a décor run is the most wallet-friendly meal in this round-up.

The festive range has a few last-minute fixes. The SNÖRPTRÅD LED table decoration costs S$9.90, an easy way to add the warm light Deepavali is known for without hunting for oil lamps. If the HDB bedroom needs a festive refresh for visiting relatives, the floral duvet picks in our IKEA Deepavali guide are a good place to start, and the guide lists the rest of the range.

Pick One Before Sunday

If you can only fit in one stop, book the SanSara feast before the restaurant closes on Monday and Tuesday, since Deepavali dinner is the one that needs a table. Check the bazaar line-up before you head to Farrer Park, and have a bright, happy Deepavali!
