New on Viu in November 2026: From Joy to Jung Yong-hwa

Wake Up Inside a K-Drama

In Oh! My Guard, Oh Hae-ra comes round after an accident sure she has been dropped into her favourite drama. She decides her job is to protect its male lead, Um Tae-bong. He’s played by Jung Yong-hwa of CNBLUE, so a member of a band you might have on a playlist spends the series as the fictional hero someone has sworn to guard. Hong Seung-hee shares top billing.

Every K-drama viewer has entertained this fantasy at 2am, three episodes past bedtime, and the premise sells the show without any help. It’s already live on Viu, so you have time to binge the opening episodes before the month’s bigger arrivals land!

Joy Steps Into Another World

Joy from Red Velvet heads the K-pop crossover list in One-of-a-Kind Romance. The show follows a chance connection that pulls two people from vastly different worlds into each other’s lives. Viu lists it from Monday, 9 November, with Kim Hyun-jin, Kang Na-eon and Shin Hyun-soo completing the cast.

Viu has kept the plot details close to its chest. Joy is the reason to tune in, and Red Velvet fans finally have a firm date to circle, which is good news for anyone who has been waiting to see her lead a romance!

Good Partner Opens Its Own Firm

Good Partner 2 brings back veteran divorce lawyer Cha Eun Kyung, played by Jang Na-ra. This time she runs her own law firm. A new rookie lawyer joins her team, and the season follows the relationships and challenges that come up as they handle work, life and everything in between.

Kim Hye-yoon, Park Hae-jin and Pyo Ji-hoon, who goes by P.O., round out the cast. Viu has it streaming from Friday, 20 November, so it’s the latest-dated K-drama on the month’s list. That Friday start makes it a natural pick for a weekend in.

Idols Pull Up a Chair

If you’d rather see idols as themselves, IDOL’S TABLE is the Korean variety show to queue up. The line-up includes NCT Dream’s Jaemin and Chenle, GOT7’s Bambam, Hearts2Hearts’ Carmen and Billie Tsuki. They’re joined by Kim Poong and Lee Eun-ji, the pair known from the Earth Arcade series.

Two NCT Dream members at one table will be the headline for plenty of fans. Because the show is already up, it’s the quickest idol fix on this list. Miyeon of (G)I-DLE turns up later in My Sibling’s Romance Season 2, a Korean variety series that also features Han Hye-jin, Code Kunst, Jonathan Yiombi and Patricia Yiombi, and Viu has not yet confirmed the date (listed as TBC).

Beyond the Idol Picks

Mission: Mompossible is the Korean drama for viewers who want a break from the idol crossovers. Its cast includes Jung Min-ah, Dong Ha, Kim Hee-jung and Kang Kyung-hun. On the Chinese side, Small Town Remedy pairs Xiao Zhan, of Legend of Zang Hai, with Jiang Yan, and his fans should start with this one from the group.

The Lament of Autumn, starring Cheng Lei and Xu Ruo Han, is set in another era. It explores how an unexpected encounter and circumstances beyond anyone’s control can change the course of love. Quite the Girl, with Xu Meng Jie and Ren Shi Hao, is available now as well. The streaming date for Alice Ko and Zhai Zi Lu’s We Go Fast On Trust is still to be confirmed.

Chinese variety fans get Incomplete Summer and its companion series Incomplete Summer: Side Stories. Both feature Wang Rui Jian, Ma Wei Xian and Zhou Guo Rui.
