Book Vietjet’s S$86 Vietnam Fares by 1 November for Trips Through October 2027

Vietjet is offering Eco fares from S$86 one-way, including taxes and fees, on flights between Singapore and Vietnam, bookable until the end of Sunday, 1 November 2026. The fares cover travel from 1 November 2026 to 31 October 2027, so a Singapore traveller can book a year-end break or a 2027 trip at the promotional price this week.

The sale comes with two network announcements. Vietjet is launching a new Hanoi–Tainan route in Taiwan and resuming direct Ho Chi Minh City–Chiang Mai flights in Thailand. Neither route leaves from Singapore, but both open up multi-stop trips that run through Vietnam.

The Fine Print on S$86

S$86 is the starting fare. Bookings go through the airline’s website, vietjetair.com, or the Vietjet Air mobile app, and the cut-off is the end of 1 November in Singapore time (GMT+8). The airline says the offer applies to both Vietnam domestic and international flights, subject to its terms and conditions, and adds that blackout dates may apply. Plan for peak dates to fall outside the deal.

That S$86 figure will look familiar to regular readers. It was the headline number during Vietjet’s 9.9 sale in September and again during the three-day sale from 8 to 10 October.

That’s useful context for anyone feeling the pressure of a deadline. Vietjet has put S$86 on the table several times this year, so this sale suits travellers who already know where and roughly when they want to go. If you’re still deciding, there’s no need to book in a panic.

Nha Trang Joins the List on 11 December

From Singapore, Vietjet currently flies direct to four Vietnamese cities: Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang, and Phu Quoc. A fifth, Nha Trang, is scheduled to launch on 11 December 2026, and it’s the most interesting route in this announcement for anyone based here.

Vietjet says the Nha Trang service will run four return flights a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. That schedule suits a long weekend well: fly out on a Friday, come back on a Monday, and use one day of annual leave. The travel period of this sale covers the launch date, so Nha Trang is bookable at the promotional starting fare, subject to availability and blackout dates. Launch dates can shift, so check the flight details when you book.

Tainan and Chiang Mai, via Vietnam

The two other routes are a different kind of trip. Hanoi–Tainan links Vietnam’s capital with the southern Taiwanese city, and the resumed Ho Chi Minh City–Chiang Mai service connects Vietnam’s biggest city with northern Thailand. Vietjet says both routes will run four return flights weekly, and frames them as strengthening tourism, trade, and cultural links across the region.

For a Singapore traveller, these work as add-ons rather than direct options. You could spend a few days in Ho Chi Minh City, then continue to Chiang Mai, or pair Hanoi with Tainan.

Vietjet’s wider network extends further still. It flies from Ho Chi Minh City to the Maldives, Cebu, and Clark, and from Hanoi to Cebu, Almaty, and Prague. Kazakhstan by way of Hanoi is a bold itinerary, and it shows how far a Vietnam stopover can stretch.

The Trip Worth Booking

If you’re booking one trip in this window, Nha Trang is the pick. It’s a new direct route from Singapore with a schedule built for weekends, and the sale covers its December launch. A second option is a Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City trip in 2027, since you’re locking in the starting price for travel almost a year ahead, before blackout dates and school holidays take the cheapest seats.

Tainan and Chiang Mai are for travellers with more time. They make the most sense for anyone planning a longer two-country trip rather than a quick getaway.
