HUAWEI WATCH 6 Series Pre-Orders Open 24 October with up to S$258 in Gifts

HUAWEI WATCH 6 Series pre-orders open in Singapore on 24 October 2026, with up to S$258 in gifts attached and prices starting at S$548.

Huawei says the series offers more than 100 workout modes, health monitoring and eSIM calling.

What S$548 Gets You

The standard HUAWEI WATCH 6 costs S$548 and comes in a 46mm size (black or blue) and a 42mm size with a pink strap. Huawei says the 42mm watch body weighs 38g on its own, and pairs it with its EasyCross Strap for a lightweight fit for everyday wear and active lifestyles.

Beyond the workout tracking, it has an eSIM (a built-in digital SIM card), so you can take calls without your phone when you’re out for a run or a swim. A Safety Check feature lets you share your real-time location and physical status with family.

Huawei also plans a wrist rotation gesture so you can trigger selected actions one-handed with a flick. Huawei says that gesture arrives later via an over-the-air (OTA) software update, subject to its release schedule.

The Health Stuff, Minus the Hype

Touch the upgraded X-TAP sensor and you get Health Glance, a quick overview of your readings. The series adds Pulse Wave Arrhythmia Detection, which is new this generation, alongside ECG (electrocardiogram, the reading that charts your heart’s electrical rhythm), heart rate variability (HRV), blood oxygen, skin temperature and stress tracking.

Huawei’s Healthy Living feature, its “four-leaf clover” model of exercise, sleep and mood goals, now has a fourth Diet clover too.

Read the fine print, though. Huawei’s own footnotes say neither the watch nor Health Glance is intended for medical use, that results are for reference only, and that health data availability varies by country. The daily Health Insights feature is listed as available only in certain markets.

100 Workout Modes

Huawei says the WATCH 6 Series offers over 100 workout modes, and the Pro adds the Expedition app for outdoor activities.

Early reviews of the WATCH 6 Pro from Europe and China give some clues. Notebookcheck China praised its heart-rate tracking and dual-band GNSS (satellite positioning that helps keep your route accurate between tall buildings), though it flagged inaccurate elevation totals. Battery claims vary widely by settings: German site Netzwelt got two to three days, while WearableXP reported roughly six.

The Catch: Apps and Your Phone

The trade-off is software. Netzwelt’s main criticism of the Pro was the limited app selection and the absence of Google apps and WhatsApp. Notebookcheck China added that missing WhatsApp makes the eSIM less useful when you leave your phone at home.

On the plus side, a 2026 Singapore buyer’s guide comparing the big brands lists Huawei as working with both Android and iPhone.

Check with your telco before counting on the eSIM. Huawei says calling works through either an eSIM One Number or eSIM Independent Number service, that availability and charges depend on your carrier, and that with One Number, cellular switches off whenever the watch is connected to your phone.

How It Stacks Up

The WATCH 6 starts at S$548. Singapore retailers list the Apple Watch Series 12 from S$599, which works only with iPhones.

Online pre-orders also get a S$30 early-bird voucher, on top of the pre-order gifts.

Is the Pro Worth S$250 More?

The HUAWEI WATCH 6 Pro costs S$798 and comes in a 43mm Ceramic Edition and a 46mm black-and-gold edition. The Ceramic Edition uses nano-tech ceramic for both the body and strap, with 18K gold accents on the crown, button and X-TAP sensor.

Outdoor types get one extra: the Expedition app, which guides exploration and outdoor activities.

Reviewers loved the build but had gripes. Inside-digital criticised the roughly 90-minute charging time, the lack of a charger in the box and fingerprint-prone sapphire glass. Connect found the 46mm model too big for smaller wrists at 46.4mm across and 11.4mm thick.

The Pro costs S$250 more than the standard WATCH 6 (S$798 versus S$548).
