From 21 October 2026, KFC outlets across Singapore are selling the Louisiana Surf N’ Turf Kentaco. It’s an S$8.80 handheld where a fried chicken fillet replaces the taco shell and crispy prawn goes inside.
Cat owners get their own news. KFC Singapore spent the past few weeks hunting for a feline brand ambassador, and a four-piece pet merch line is slated for 28 October. That puts a bucket-shaped cat bed on the same calendar as a seafood boil you can eat with one hand!
A Seafood Boil, Minus the Bucket
The idea borrows from the Cajun seafood boil, the messy, hands-in feast where a bucket of shellfish gets tipped onto the table for everyone to share. KFC’s take shrinks that into a single serving.

KFC calls the Kentaco a returning “cult favourite”, and this edition keeps the all-meat, no-bun format of earlier versions. Adding prawn is the twist. Fried chicken wrapped around fried prawn is excessive by design, which is precisely why it’ll end up in your group chat before anyone has tasted it.
The dip is the piece to watch. KFC describes it as “almost like a Lobster Bisque in a dip”, and it sells separately as a S$1.50 add-on. That’s a smart move, because a good sauce tends to outlive the menu it launched with.
The Southern Slaw is available on its own too, at S$3.45 for a cup. That price makes sense if you’d rather add crunch to a regular meal than commit to the whole surf-and-turf experience.
The Platter Is the Sneaky Deal
Here’s the thing the menu doesn’t spell out for you. The Louisiana Surf N’ Turf Platter Meal costs S$10.80. For that price you get two Louisiana Crispy Prawns, four Louisiana Chicken Bites, a Garlic Seafood Dip, a medium Mac and Cheese and a regular Sjora (Nestlé’s fruit drink).

The Kentaco Meal at S$10.95 gives you the taco itself, a regular coleslaw and a Sjora. If you’re there for the novelty, order the Kentaco. If you want more food on the tray for less money, the Platter is the better buy, and it comes with its own cup of that dip.
Bigger appetites have the Kentaco Box (S$13.80), which adds two chicken tenders and whipped potato to the taco. There’s also a Platter Box at S$13.60 with a piece of chicken on the bone thrown in.
For two people, run the maths before you tap “order”. The Buddy Meal (S$23.75) includes a Kentaco, two prawns, four chicken bites, a dip, a medium Mac and Cheese, two coleslaws and two whipped potatoes. Ordering one Kentaco Meal and one Platter Meal gets you almost the same spread for S$21.75, minus the mash and one coleslaw. Skip the potatoes and you keep S$2. Feeding a crowd? The Family Feast (S$48.90) doubles up on Kentacos and prawns and adds chicken on the bone.
Greens, If You Insist
KFC hasn’t forgotten the salad crowd. The Louisiana Loaded Salad Bowl tosses seasoned chicken bites over lettuce, tomatoes and other vegetables for S$9.20 on its own.

The meal version costs S$10.30 and adds a bottle of Dasani mineral water, so you’re paying S$1.10 for the water. That’s fair if you’d have bought a drink anyway, and easy to skip if you carry a bottle.
Cats Got Their Shot at Fame
Singapore has a soft spot for cats, whether that’s Chinatown’s mural cats that double as feeding bowls or the cat accounts clogging your Instagram feed. KFC leaned into that with what it billed as its first-ever KFC Meowfluencer Search. Owners entered from 22 September to 5 October by tagging @kfc_sg on Instagram with their cat’s name, and KFC then picked a group of finalists.
The public vote took place on 10 October 2026, from 11am to 7pm, at the open area outside KFC Star Vista. It ran alongside the first KFC Pets Club Meet, a free event with a stamp rally that ended in an embroidered pet collar. According to KFC, the first 50 cats received free grooming from Pet Pat, and the first 80 participants left with a goodie bag from SilverSky.
The prize is a real contract. The winning cat gets a 12-month deal worth S$2,000, a full set of KFC merchandise and the title of official Meowfluencer, with social posts, photoshoots and campaigns lined up through the year. Jaslyn Lam, KFC Singapore’s director of marketing and food innovation, told Marketing-Interactive on 8 October that the brand’s purpose is to “fuel fandom”. She described pet owners as a natural extension of that, a community KFC wanted to bring together with “a little KFC fun”.
It’s not KFC Singapore’s only stunt this month, either. Its \*SCAPE outlet ran a one-day S$25.95 boneless chicken buffet on 16 October. The brand has plainly decided that October is for going big.
Merch Drops 28 October
KFC says the KFC Pets Club range is its first merch line for pets, and it’s set to launch on 28 October. A limited selection went on sale early at the Pets Club Meet. Here’s the line-up:

- KFC Bucket Bed: S$45.90
- Breakfast Twister Plushie: S$12.90
- KFC Chicken Headgear: S$12.90
- KFC Pet Collared Bib: S$10.90
The Bucket Bed is the headliner, and KFC’s own description (“For the first time, it’s not chicken”) is the best line in the whole announcement. If your cat already sleeps in every cardboard box you bring home, S$45.90 for a bucket it’s allowed to sleep in is an easy sell.
For the cheapest laugh, though, go for the Chicken Headgear. At S$12.90 it turns your cat into a tiny drumstick for photos, and it costs more than a Kentaco Meal (S$10.95). The plushie works as a toy, and the bib is there for owners who want a subtle nod to the brand.
🗓️ Date: 21 October to 24 November 2026, while stocks last
📍 Location: All KFC outlets in Singapore except Singapore Zoo and Sentosa, plus KFC Delivery, GrabFood and foodpanda
🌮 Louisiana Surf N’ Turf Kentaco: S$8.80 à la carte, S$10.95 as a meal
🍤 Platter Meal: S$10.80
👫 Buddy Meal: S$23.75
👨👩👧 Family Feast: S$48.90
🥣 Garlic Seafood Dip add-on: S$1.50
🐱 KFC Pets Club merch: From 28 October 2026, S$10.90 to S$45.90
The Kentaco is on sale until 24 November or until stocks run out, so it’s a good one to try early with a friend, especially if you split the Platter for the better value. Cat owners should mark 28 October for the merch drop, and the Bucket Bed is the piece that’ll go first.
