Eight Singapore restaurants are marking milestone birthdays this year, from Fat Cow‘s 15th on Orchard Boulevard to first-year newcomers already holding Michelin stars. If you want a dinner with a bit more story behind it than the usual Friday booking, these anniversary menus, pairing nights and year-long parties are a good place to look.
Fat Cow Hits 15
Fat Cow opened in October 2011 as a Japanese restaurant built around Wagyu, the heavily marbled Japanese beef that melts faster than your savings. Fifteen years is a long run in this city. Between 1 January and 23 October 2025, the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) recorded 2,431 food outlet closures. Of those, 36.3% had been registered for under three years, and only 5.9% had been registered for 20 years or more. MTI notes these figures measure registration age rather than actual trading time.

This year has been harder still. 2,101 F&B businesses shut in the first seven months of 2026, up 25.1% on the year before, so Fat Cow reaching 15 is a real achievement!
The anniversary centrepiece is the 15th Anniversary Sake Pairing Dinner on 15 October at 7pm, priced at S$238++ per person. It runs six courses paired with five 60ml sake pours, the last served as a digestif. The food is all Wagyu, including Hanging-Roasted Wagyu Rump, Straw-Seared Wagyu Inside Skirt, Kansai-Style Wagyu Ribeye Sukiyaki and a Charcoal-Grilled Wagyu Flap Meat Claypot Rice, with House-made Warabimochi (a soft, chewy Japanese sweet) and seasonal fruit to finish.
Bookings opened on 15 September and are first come, first served. There is no cut-off date, but only 40 guests get a seat, so treat those places as already moving.
If you miss out, the Autumn Edition Shiki Omakase has been running since 21 September. It costs S$88++ for lunch, S$98++ for dinner and S$118++ for the enhanced version, and whisky flights start from S$48++. For anyone curious about Fat Cow who doesn’t want to spend over S$200 on a first visit, the S$88++ lunch is the easiest way in.

Birds of a Feather Starts Over
Birds of a Feather has been on Amoy Street since 2016. For its 10th year, it has relaunched under a new label, “Progressive Cuisine with Chuan Influences”. The cooking draws on Sichuan and beyond, passed through the chef’s fine-dining background and French technique, which makes this a riskier birthday move than a cake and a candle.
New dishes include Abalone.Prawn.Clam (S$24++), Crispy Frog Legs (S$21++) and Salsify & Chestnut (S$25++). There’s an upgraded version of the cult-favourite Loup de Mer (S$98++) and a Red Date ‘Clafoutis’ (S$28++) finished at your table. The new cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks borrow from Chengdu’s tea and botanical culture. First-timers should start with the frog legs, then come back for the sea bass once they’re hooked.

Monti’s Ten-Year Party
Monti is marking its decade at Marina Bay with “MONTI Celebrates A Decade At The Water’s Edge”, a programme that runs across the whole year. The Italian restaurant is known for chef-driven cooking with clear views over the water. Its eight-hands dinner, Sagra Di MONTI, took place on 25 September, but most of the programme is still ahead.
The Red Lap: Rosso Corsa Singapore runs from 2 to 11 October. The 10th Anniversary Communal Menu (S$138++ per person, minimum two guests) is available for dinner until 31 December. For couples, A Decade of Amore costs S$158++ per person and must be booked at least three days ahead.
Later in the year come Cena di Natale on 24 and 25 December (S$168++ per person) and a New Year’s Eve menu on 31 December, with four courses at S$178++ or five at S$308++. The best value is the new Weekday Colapranzo set lunch. Its Tagliolini ai Ricci di Mare, a sea urchin pasta, costs S$38++, a low price for a waterfront table.

Nae:um’s Five-Year Love Letter
Chef Louis Han opened Nae:um in 2021, and the modern Korean restaurant has kept its Michelin star every year since 2022. Its menus are “episodic”: each chapter is tied to the chef’s own memories of home, so regulars always have a reason to return.
The Five Years menu runs at lunch and dinner. It moves from the sharp, bright Cucumber Dongchimi through Memilmyeon & Mandu (buckwheat noodles and dumplings) to Jeonbok Jorim, then ends with Dagwa & Kombucha. At both services, the 8-course Signature Menu is S$288++. Lunch also offers a 5-course Abbreviated Menu at S$198++, with alcohol pairings from S$148++ and non-alcoholic pairings from S$88++. At dinner, pairings cost S$198++ for full alcohol, S$118++ for half, or S$118++ for non-alcoholic.
The first 500 guests who order it get a Dreamy Forest (몽환의 숲) candle scented with fig and cypress, so you take home a little more than the memory.

Loca Niru’s Big First Year
Loca Niru serves modern Japanese-French food at the House of Tan Yeok Nee. In its first year, it won a star in the 2026 Michelin Guide Singapore, and its executive chef Shusuke Kubota took the Young Chef Award at the same ceremony. That is a lot of recognition for a restaurant still in its first year!
The celebrations begin with a four-hands dinner (two chefs cooking together) with restaurant Allen on 27 and 28 October, at dinner service only. A wine dinner follows in November, and an exclusive wine pairing menu runs from mid-November into December.

54° Steakhouse Turns One
54° Steakhouse has spent its first year building a following in a crowded steak scene. Its beef comes from around the world, including Sanchoku Wagyu and USDA Prime Angus (USDA is the United States Department of Agriculture’s top beef grade). The main draw is its Black Market Angus by True North Porterhouse and T-bone, cuts the restaurant says you can only get there.

A Supreme Court Kitchen, Revived
Chef Damian D’Silva is often called the “Grandfather of Heritage Cuisine”, and he has spent two decades bringing near-forgotten Singaporean recipes back to the table. In November 2025, with OUE Restaurants, he opened Gilmore & Damian D’Silva in the former Supreme Court wing of the National Gallery Singapore. The restaurant is named after his grandfather Gilmore, who looked after the Supreme Court for 21 years, lived in its quarters, and sometimes cooked for the judges.

Most of the menu is heirloom Eurasian recipes, some more than 200 years old. Eurasians in Singapore are a community of mixed European and Asian descent, and their Kristang cooking combines Portuguese, Malay and other influences. The Baca Assam is a mildly spiced beef cheek dish braised in tamarind that the D’Silva family once kept for Sundays and special occasions.
The dishes are designed for sharing, and the room has a 16-seat private dining space where the chef cooks Peranakan, Malay, Indian, Sri Lankan and other heritage dishes on request. If you’re bringing your own wine, there’s no corkage fee, only a S$5 charge per glass.

For a first visit, the S$38 set lunch is the lowest-risk option, with a starter, a vegetable dish and a main served with ghee rice. According to the restaurant, lunch runs from 11.30am to 3pm and high tea from 3pm to 6pm.
Save space for dessert. The Singapore Heritage Kuehs change regularly and are handmade in-house, at S$18 for six pieces.

Rempapa’s Gallery Year
Rempapa by Damian D’Silva first opened in December 2021 and moved to the National Gallery Singapore in late 2025. It is now marking its first year there. The Michelin-selected restaurant serves the chef’s heritage cooking in a relaxed, all-day setting. Its Signature Nasi Lemak sets start from S$9.90++, about the price of a cafe latte and a pastry.

Which Seats to Chase
With only 40 places, Fat Cow’s sake dinner is the one to book first. Fifteen years of Wagyu in a single tasting is a rare chance, and the seats will go fast. For a milestone meal with a clear personal story, Nae:um’s five-course Abbreviated Menu at lunch (S$198++) is a cheaper way into the “Five Years” story than the eight-course Signature Menu (S$288++). If you’re watching your budget, a set lunch at Gilmore followed by a look around the galleries upstairs is the best-value day out here.
Restaurants that last in Singapore do it one table and one regular at a time, and these anniversaries are a good excuse to become one of those regulars.
