It’s been five and a half years since Asta last shouted his way through a new TV episode. Now Black Clover Season 2 is back to lead a packed Crunchyroll Fall 2026 anime lineup, and the first premieres arrive on 26 September. If you watch in Singapore or anywhere else in Southeast Asia, here’s what’s coming, when it starts and which languages you can watch it in.

A Wild Last Boss Appeared! Again
The season starts early with A Wild Last Boss Appeared! Season 2 from studio WAO World. An MMO (massively multiplayer online game) player wakes up as the Black-Winged Tyrant, Lufas Maphaahl. Lufas was a conqueror whose defeat 200 years ago unleashed monsters on the world and left behind a legend built on terror.
The twist is what makes this isekai (Japanese for “another world”) story work. The hero is overpowered, but he’s stuck in the body of history’s most hated villain. A whole world wants him dead while he tries to figure out why he’s there. New viewers can start from episode one on the show’s Crunchyroll series page.

Overgeared Crafts Its Way In
Grid has terrible luck and is buried in debt. He’s even struggling in the VR game where players can win real-world fame and fortune. Then a tough quest makes him heir to a legendary blacksmith. His stats reset to zero, and he levels up by crafting gear that’s close to god-tier.
Overgeared from J.C.STAFF is exclusive to Crunchyroll, so you won’t find it on any other service. In a season packed with reborn fighters and mages, a hero who wins at the forge instead of on the battlefield stands out. That same Sunday, As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I’ll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World returns for Season 3 from GeyeG Pictures. Ars Louvent is a young noble who isn’t much of a fighter. His talent is reading other people’s abilities, and he’s using it to turn his small domain into a real power.
This is the season’s comfort watch, with more strategy than spectacle. It suits anyone who likes watching a clever leader build a team around him. You can catch up on earlier seasons on its series page before the new episodes arrive.

Asta’s Five-Year Wait Is Over
Black Clover Season 2 from Pierrot premieres on the same day it airs on TV Tokyo in Japan. The original series ended with episode 170 on 30 March 2021. The new season opens with tyranny sweeping the Clover Kingdom, and Asta and the Magic Knights raid the Spade Kingdom to rescue their captains from the Dark Triad.
Director Ayataka Tanemura is back. He directed episodes 153 to 170 and the 2023 film Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King. Series composer Keiichiro Ochi returns too. Keeping that team matters, because early episodes drew complaints about slow pacing and uneven animation. The later arcs won people over, and The Fandom Post’s Shawn Hacaga wrote that he was glad the show “was able to turn it around”.
If you only watch one show this season, make it this one. The team behind its best episodes is back for one of the manga’s biggest battle arcs, and fans have waited years for it. Crunchyroll called it the most-watched anime on its platform in 2020, so expect your group chat to be full of spoilers by Sunday morning!

Aoashi’s Promotion Gets Brutal
Aoashi Season 2 from TMS Entertainment picks up with Aoi Ashito earning a spot on the A team. He soon learns that training with elite players like Kuribayashi and Akutsu is as punishing as any match.
In the U-18 Premier League, Ashito has to improve fast or get left behind, and that pressure keeps the show gripping. If you’re tired of fantasy worlds, this down-to-earth, sweaty sports drama is the best change of pace this fall.

A CLAMP Classic Rides Again
Hikaru Shidou, Umi Ryuuzaki and Fuu Hououji are on a school trip to Tokyo Tower when Princess Emeraude, the Pillar of Cephiro, calls on them. She needs them to become the Magic Knights who will save her world. Magic Knight Rayearth, from the manga group CLAMP, comes to Crunchyroll with animation by E&H Production.
Magical girls piloting giant, ornate mecha is still a striking mix. Longtime CLAMP fans get a dose of nostalgia. Younger viewers get to see where many of today’s “summoned to save another world” stories came from.

A Wedding Deal With an Assassin
Noblewoman Satoko Kirigaya is running out of time and wants to marry well to make her father proud. When the assassin Shinpei Goto kidnaps her, she offers him a deal: “Marry me, and we’ll have it all.” He agrees, then becomes dangerously obsessed with her.
Firefly Wedding from david production is the darkest romance of the season, made for viewers who like some danger in their love stories. It’s also the only title on the Southeast Asian slate with a Bahasa Indonesia dub, so it’s likely to get people talking in Jakarta.

A Mask Maker’s Road to Redemption
Apprentice mask maker Peru is possessed by the Mask of the Warrior God and kills his friends and his master, the legendary Gaston Roux. Overwhelmed by guilt, he vows to destroy every mask his master made, and that mission takes him around the world.
The Vermilion Mask from 100studio has the heaviest opening of any new show this season. It starts with a tragedy and turns into a quest for redemption that crosses the globe, which gives it more emotional weight than most new fantasy shows.

PSYREN Is the Wildcard
PSYREN, adapted by Satelight from Toshiaki Iwashiro’s manga, is exclusive to Crunchyroll but doesn’t have a premiere date yet. While Ageha searches for a missing friend, he gets caught up in rumours of people disappearing across the country and ends up in a deadly game.
Crunchyroll’s description is only one line long, but a survival game built around a missing-person mystery is a strong hook. Add it to your watchlist now so you can start watching as soon as it arrives.
