It’s clever scheduling from vivo, and good to know before you settle in at the basement-level unit at lunchtime.
The Schedule Is the Strategy
Lay the timetable out and it plays like a television season that saves its finale for last. The first batch of vivo Buds Air3 earbuds goes on flash sale at 2.30pm. The first number in each pair is the physical memory. The second is extended memory borrowed from storage, so compare the 6GB and 8GB when you size it up against rivals. The starting price hasn’t moved, too: TechCoffeehouse reported that the older vivo V60 Lite 5G launched here at S$499.
The verdict: if the V80 Lite 5G is on your shortlist, pre-ordering early on 19 September is an easy win. You pay the standard price, pick from Afterglow Pink, Emerald Green, or Dawn Black, and get the extras thrown in. If it isn’t on your radar, a goodie bag is no reason to spend S$499 on a phone.
Why vivo Went West
Jurong Point gives shoppers in the west a place to try vivo’s phones without the trek to Orchard Road. The brand’s first Experience & Service Store opened at 313@somerset earlier this year, and both outlets keep the same retail hours of 11am to 9pm daily.
