Friday: JJ Lin and CORTIS
Friday, 9 October, packs the widest spread of genres onto a single ticket. Singapore-born Mandopop (Mandarin-language pop) star JJ Lin shares the Padang Stage in Zone 4 with K-pop (Korean pop) group CORTIS. Over in Zone 1, New Zealand band Split Enz, the group behind 1980’s I Got You, play the Wharf Stage.
Race promoter Singapore GP counts 10 stages and themed entertainment precincts across Zones 1 and 4 this year. None of them needs a separate gig ticket, because the zone on your race ticket decides how far you can roam.
A walkabout ticket skips the grandstand seat and lets you wander instead. On Friday, a Zone 4 Walkabout costs S$198 and covers the Padang plus every Zone 4 stage. A Premier Walkabout, at S$298, opens Zones 1 to 4, so the Wharf is yours as well.
Get to the Padang early. The last time K-pop held the Friday slot, in 2025, G-DRAGON drew 65,000 fans to the field, according to Singapore GP figures carried by CNA Lifestyle. The Straits Times wrote of fans queuing overnight for that show. Put a Mandopop icon and a K-pop act on one stage, and you should expect a similar crush this year.
Stay for the late set. Milky Chance play Zone 4’s Downtown stage at 9.30pm (more on them below), so that S$198 pass gets you three very different crowds in one evening. No other night at the circuit gives you that much music for the money.

Saturday: The Killers and Zara Larsson
Saturday, 10 October, is the sing-along night. Swedish pop star Zara Larsson and American rock band The Killers share the Padang. If Mr. Brightside makes the set list, expect the crowd to take over the vocals.
In Zone 1, the Goo Goo Dolls take the Wharf. Their ballad Iris came out in 1998 on the City of Angels soundtrack. If it got you through your first heartbreak, this is your stage.
Both walkabouts cost S$100 more on Saturday: S$298 for Zone 4 and S$398 for Premier. That gap is what the Goo Goo Dolls and Zone 1’s dance stages will cost you.
Pay it if Iris is the reason you’re buying. Everyone else will have a better Saturday on a Zone 4 ticket at the Padang, then heading to Anyma at MARQUEE, where doors open at 10pm.

Sunday: Janet Jackson, Lana Del Rey
Sunday, 11 October, puts its two big draws in different zones. James Arthur, the British singer-songwriter behind Say You Won’t Let Go, plays the Padang on the final night with Lana Del Rey. Janet Jackson headlines the Wharf in Zone 1.
Watch the clock on this one. Janet Jackson’s set runs from 6.15pm to 7.15pm, which is early for a star of her stature. Stroll into Zone 1 at 8pm expecting a late slot, and she’ll already have left the stage.
In 2025, Sunday belonged to Lewis Capaldi and Elton John, both on the Padang. This year the night splits in two, and a Zone 4 Walkabout can’t get you anywhere near Janet Jackson.
Sunday is the priciest day, at S$368 for Zone 4 and S$498 for Premier. Read those numbers twice. A Sunday-only Zone 4 ticket costs as much as the three-day pass, and Sunday-only Premier is S$30 less than the S$528 weekend. Buy Sunday on its own and you give up two nights you’d have got free, or nearly free.

Zone 1’s Brand-New Barge Stage
On the track, the big news is Marina Bay’s first-ever Formula 1 (F1) Sprint, a shorter race that awards its own championship points. Off the track, it’s Zone 1: the zone has been upsized and gets a brand-new Barge Stage.
The Barge and Zone 1’s other dance platforms host the weekend’s DJ line-up, and it’s stacked. Mark Ronson, the producer behind Uptown Funk, is on it. So are DJ Snake and Major Lazer Soundsystem, a pairing anyone who wore out 2015’s Lean On will recognise. Rev Run of Run-DMC, ZHU, TOKiMONSTA, and Australian duo Flight Facilities are on the list too, and there are more names beyond them.
Every one of those sets is inside Zone 1, so you need Premier access for the Barge. Dance fans should buy the three-day Premier Walkabout at S$528. It covers all three nights of DJ sets, whichever evening your favourite plays.

Milky Chance’s First Show in Asia
If Stolen Dance was the soundtrack to your 2014, circle Friday, 9 October. German indie-pop duo Milky Chance, childhood friends Clemens Rehbein and Phillipp Dausch, play Zone 4 Downtown at 9.30pm. It’s their first show in Asia as a band.
That 2013 breakout has passed 2 billion Spotify streams and 1 billion YouTube views, and Dua Lipa covered it in 2025. The duo have played Coachella, Reading & Leeds, and Lollapalooza, and they’ve been fully independent since 2021.
They’re using Camouflage, their 2025 single, as the lead track for a push across Southeast and East Asia. In their announcement, the band said they “can’t wait to experience what it’s like to play over there”.
Downtown is in Zone 4, so the S$198 Friday Zone 4 Walkabout gets you in, and the same ticket covers JJ Lin and CORTIS on the Padang. Leave the Padang with time to spare before 9.30pm. This set is for anyone who’d rather dance to a song they’ve known for 13 years than fight for a spot at the barrier.

Music Matters Live at Clarke Quay
The music starts a week before the cars do. Music Matters Live is a free festival at CQ @ Clarke Quay from 2 to 4 October, with more than 40 artists from 15 countries on the line-up. Organiser BRANDED runs it as an official event of Grand Prix Season Singapore (GPSS), and the venue is a few minutes’ walk from Clarke Quay Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station.
P-pop (Filipino pop) fans have the best reason to go. Lola Amour, KAIA, and PIX!E are all playing, and the Philippines gets its own country spotlight on top of that. J-pop (Japanese pop) fans get LIL LEAGUE and KID PHENOMENON, both from EXILE TRIBE, while Supercatkei flies the flag for Singapore.
Universal Music presents Music Is Universal, a set of pop idols from its Southeast Asian roster representing Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Malaysia. Sounds Australia returns for two dedicated nights, Japan gets a spotlight, and Nagaland in north-east India makes its festival debut. The run wraps with a Girls’ Night Out closing party on 7 October.
Entry is free, so the only decision is which night to go. Bring the friend who’s still on the fence about race tickets. If an act they’ve never heard of wins them over by the river, a Friday walkabout with Milky Chance won’t need much selling.

AFTER 2049, 57 Floors Up
Friday’s options don’t stop at the circuit gates. The night Milky Chance play Downtown, AFTER 2049 takes over the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark Observation Deck, 57 floors above the track. German house producer Claptone headlines.
You’ll spot Claptone by his golden beak and white gloves. He runs the Golden Recordings label and throws The Masquerade parties around the world, including residencies at Pacha in Ibiza. Madrid’s Crusy, who broke through with his Toolroom debut SELECTA, joins him, and returning acts ANONM and Leon (FR) play alongside Milam and Mo-Shi.
The party is the official close of TOKEN2049 Singapore, a digital assets conference running on 7 and 8 October. Once a year, the observation deck closes to the public and hands the 57th floor to AFTER 2049. Polygon Live brings its 360° spatial audio rig, which sends parts of each track around, above, and through the crowd. According to the organisers, it’s Polygon Live’s only production in Southeast Asia this year.
Capacity is limited, and First Release tickets are sold only through Megatix. Marina Bay Sands connects to Bayfront MRT, so you can take the train straight there.
This one’s for house fans who’d trade a field for a skyline. The catch is the date: it lands on the Friday with JJ Lin, CORTIS, and Milky Chance. Buy your walkabout for Saturday or Sunday instead, and give Friday night to the rooftop.

Anyma’s Singapore Debut at MARQUEE
Saturday’s after-party comes with a Sphere-sized reputation. Anyma, the stage name of American-born Italian artist Matteo Milleri, plays MARQUEE Singapore at Marina Bay Sands on Saturday, 10 October. It’s his first performance in Singapore, and doors open at 10pm.
His track record explains the buzz. In 2024, he became the first electronic music artist to hold a residency at Sphere in Las Vegas, where his show drew 200,000 people across 12 dates. He played a sold-out show at the Pyramids of Giza in 2025, then headlined Coachella 2026 with ÆDEN, his new audiovisual show.
BLACKPINK fans know him from Bad Angel with LISA, and his catalogue includes Hypnotized with Ellie Goulding, Eternity, and Syren. Expect the visuals to matter as much as the music, since Marina Bay Sands is billing it as a multisensory, one-night-only show.
Early Bird tickets were listed at S$148. General Admission and Expedited Entry tickets cost S$198 to S$448. All prices exclude booking fees and GST (Singapore’s Goods and Services Tax). Tickets are sold on MARQUEE Singapore’s website, and there are only a limited number for the public.
Build your Saturday around this one. With doors at 10pm, you can spend the evening at the circuit first, and a Singapore debut from a Coachella 2026 headliner is hard to pass up.

1-Group’s Night Circuit Trail
Not every race-week night needs a race ticket. Hospitality group 1-Group runs The Night Circuit from 2 to 11 October, a citywide trail of race-themed menus and drinks at its venues, from Sentosa to Marina Bay. Prices carry a double plus (++), which means a 10% service charge and GST are added to the bill.
Three stops suit concert-goers best. At 1-Atico, Atico Lounge’s The Victory Lap is a flight of three martinis that moves through a colour gradient, for S$18++. That’s what a single Night Circuit cocktail costs at 1-Arden’s bar.
For a late one, La Luna, the rooftop at 1-Alfaro in Labrador Tower, pairs its La Vittoria cocktail (whisky, vanilla, caramel, Campari, ginger, and lime) at S$28++ with late-night entertainment. Closer to the bay, MONTI serves The Red Lap, a menu inspired by Ferrari’s home town of Maranello, with the Marina Bay skyline as the view. Signature cocktails there cost S$21++, and mocktails are S$18++.
Save the trail for the week before race weekend, when there are no set times to rush for. It starts on 2 October, the night Music Matters Live opens, so an evening by the river followed by a rooftop martini makes an easy first lap.

If You Only Pick One
If you only do one thing, make it Sunday at the circuit on a three-day Premier Walkabout. Janet Jackson and Lana Del Rey on the same night is the hardest pairing to see again. The weekend pass also makes Friday and Saturday a bonus rather than a splurge.
Can’t stretch that far? Take Friday on a Zone 4 Walkabout. JJ Lin, CORTIS, and Milky Chance on one ticket is the most music for the least money at the circuit.
