It’s that time of the year again! October’s here, and that brings with it lots of spooks, scares, and most importantly, Halloween! While most Singaporeans don’t break out the costumes to go trick-or-treating, there’s certainly no shortage of Halloween events to party well into the spooky wee hours this year!
With that in mind, we’ve got a curated list of events for you which all promise nothing less than heart-pounding, spine-chilling, Halloween-spirited fun! Without further ado, let’s get into it! Don’t worry; there aren’t any jumpscares on this list (or are there?).
Halloween Party – Fright Night on the Docks (31 October)
Head over to Fright Night on the Docks at the Boater’s Bar this Halloween! Set in the stunning backdrop of ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove, this event promises a whole night of spine-tingling fun!
Event highlights include an open bar serving up a variety of Halloween-themed cocktails, a mouthwatering buffet of drunken snacks, and a live DJ spinning eerie beats for you to dance the night away! And don’t forget, Halloween wouldn’t be complete without costumes! So make sure to wear your creepiest outfit and strike a scary pose at the immersive photo booth for some hauntingly good memories!

Illumi – Trick or Treat (19 October to 3 November)
We already featured illumi on our website, but they’re changing things up with illumi – Trick or Treat! The entire Bayfront Event Space will be getting a spooky facelift, with new Halloween-themed decorations promising a whole night of dazzling frights!
There’ll be new activities too! You can look forward to a scavenger hunt winding through all nine zones at illumi, where visitors are tasked with finding candy (very on-brand for Halloween), and other fun for the whole family such as face painting, tarot card readings, and all manner of performances!
This all costs the same price as regular illumi tickets, so don’t worry about spending extra! More information is available here at their official website.

CÉ LA VI – Cirque Le Soir (26 October)
Who said Halloween can’t be glamorous? Hosted at the glitzy CÉ LA VI Restaurant, Bar and Lounge at the top of Marina Bay Sands, CÉ LA VI – Cirque Le Soir promises a night full of death-defying feats, mesmerising dances and more! Featuring the award-winning London-based Cirque Le Soir, visitors can expect nothing less than the most bizarre acts and performers in all of Singapore!
You’ll be able to dance the night away too, with CÉ LA VI’s DJs blasting only the most thrilling tunes! Visitors can also come wearing costumes to truly get into the Halloween spirit.

Candlelight: A Haunted Evening of Halloween Classics (31 October)
Putting a more elegant spin on Halloween, Candlelight: A Haunted Evening of Halloween Classics brings a mix of songs from the soundtracks of Halloween movies such as The Addams Family, to the classics, with In the Hall of the Mountain King as a highlight, to 80s pop like Thriller!

BRIX, Grand Hyatt – Back from the Dead – Hollywood Edition (25 to 26 October)
Lights, camera, action! BRIX at the Grand Hyatt is back and better than ever – announcing its return by pulling out all the stops with a heart-stopping Halloween bash and promising a night of ghoulish glamour! Aptly named Back from the Dead – Hollywood Edition, the event is a no-holds-barred celebration in partnership with Bacardi, inviting guests to channel their inner superstar.

Vertigore at HighHouse and NOVA (26 October and 30 October)
HighHouse and NOVA are bringing the most terrifying night in all of Singapore this Halloween with VERTIGORE, an immersive experience spanning three floors of One Raffles Place!
We start off in HighHouse of Horrors, where scare actors and macabre decor await to test your nerve at every turn! Those most daring can even dine in private dining rooms designed to look like gruesome torture chambers, and along with being a prime photo opportunity, guests can play a guessing game where losing is punished by taking a shot of Volcan tequila!
On the music side of things, DJs XTVA and Shaun Nocturnals bring their signature House and Techno beats on October 26, while DJs Tang and Kong will bring the house down with their thudding hip-hop and soul-touching RnB on October 30! To keep you well-fuelled while partying, you’ll be able to feast on a wide array of snacks, such as the HighHouse Platter, alongside drinks like tequila and champagne throughout the night!
Once you’ve survived hell at HighHouse, you’ll be welcomed by the heavenly vibes of Afterlife at NOVA, where the skyline views and the awe-inspiring ASTRA installation by light artist Jun Ong await. Local DJs LENERD and Zushan will spin a positively angelic mix of Bass House, Trap and Techno on October 26, while Fantastic Dinosaur and Fred E will deliver a blend of guilty pleasure earworms and nostalgic hits on October 30!

Halloween Horror Nights 12 (30 August to 2 November)
Halloween Horror Nights 12 at Universal Studios Singapore is back, and this year’s screams from Sentosa are louder than ever! At this ghastly event, you’ll face four haunted houses, three scare zones, and a club full of vampires!
As always, the haunted houses are the highlight, headlined by Netflix’s Sweet Home and Jackson Wang’s Under the Castle. For those who’re looking for a little more local-flavoured horror, Singapore’s Most Haunted: The Killings is certain to give you nightmares, while The Cursed Scrolls: Dynasty of Darkness will make your head spin with fear and dizziness with its overwhelming light show.
But wait, there’s more to Halloween Horror Nights than just haunted houses! The scare zones are ready to make you regret every step – tango with the living dead in Nether-land, feel like you’re running through a haunted version of old Singapore in the Lost Kampung, and try not to be chilled to the bone from fright in Vampire Alley.
If you need a breather from the frights, the Viper Lounge speakeasy offers a chill – albeit haunting – escape, with voracious vampires eyeing you for their next meal!

Underground: The Summoning (25 September to 3 November)
Looking for a good scare this Halloween season with an eerie historical twist? Look no further than Underground: The Summoning! This experience takes horror to new depths – literally! Set in Singapore’s historic Battlebox, this immersive theatrical horror journey drags you into a twisted ritual set in World War 2, where British troops summon a demon in a desperate attempt to fend off the advancing Japanese forces.
As often in these stories, things go horribly wrong. Your task at Underground: The Summoning is to find 8 cards scattered around BattleBox to stop the demon’s rampage while escaping devilish threats around every corner.
