Following their previous gig in Singapore last year, The Chainsmokers will be returning for their first-ever stadium show. Held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on 21 August 2019 (Wednesday), the show will be part of the duo’s world tour, World War Joy.
Comprised of Alex Pall and Drew Taggart, The Chainsmokers’ signature sound deftly reaches across indie, progressive, and pop realms. Their evolution as producers and as songwriters has seen them develop some of the biggest breakthrough songs for the last few years, with some of their original tracks and remixes topping the charts throughout the world.
Recently, the Grammy Award-winning and Billboard Chart topping artist/producer duo released their sophomore album, Sick Boy. The album includes the Gold-certified single This Feeling featuring Kelsea Ballerini and Side Effects featuring long-time collaborator Emily Warren. Most recently, the duo has released a new single Who Do You Love, featuring multi-Platinum band 5 Seconds of Summer.
In 2016, the group catapulted to worldwide stardom with certified multi-Platinum hits, Roses and Don’t Let Me Down, with the latter receiving a Grammy for the “Best Dance Recording” at the 2017 Grammy Awards.
In April 2017, the group released their debut album titled Memories…Do Not Open, which clinched #1 in the US Billboard 200 chart. The album included two-time Platinum-certified Paris – which debuted at #7 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart – and Grammy-nominated Something Just Like This – which peaked in the top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
General ticket sales start at 10 am on 10 May (Friday), but Citi cardmembers and Live Nation Members will be entitled to pre-sales, which will be on 6 to 7 May, and 8 May respectively.
