Queue Early on 12 November: lululemon ION Orchard Hands Blind Boxes to the First 100

lululemon reopens its ION Orchard store on Thursday, 12 November 2026, and the first 100 shoppers in the queue from 10am walk away with a limited-edition blind box. If waiting for opening day isn’t your style, the brand’s pre-opening pop-up at Design Orchard runs until Monday, 9 November, and every class spot booked there comes with a box of its own.

That’s the version for anyone who has ever refreshed a drop page at midnight. The fuller story involves a bigger store, a personalisation counter that lululemon says is its first in Singapore, and a homecoming that has been 12 years in the making.

Back Where Asia Began

The brand calls Singapore its gateway to the region. That’s a familiar role for the island, which also played host when Barry’s opened its flagship studio in Asia here in 2019.

The new space measures 5,821 sq ft by lululemon’s count, and it’s the first store in Singapore to carry the brand’s latest global store design concept. lululemon builds that concept around three pillars it names Movement, Joy and Connection, and in practice that means soft rustic textures, raked patterns and debossed wood details inspired by the landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. Neutral and bright tones split the floor into distinct zones, while empowerment quotes run throughout the space.

There’s a dedicated community space inside the store too, and lululemon says it’ll spotlight local happenings and upcoming events. For regulars who already plan their weekends around run clubs and studio sessions, a noticeboard of what’s on in the heart of Orchard is a handy thing to have.

Your Name on a Belt Bag

Here’s the feature that matters most once the opening-day buzz fades. lululemon is bringing its first personalisation service in Singapore to ION Orchard, and the brand says it’s exclusive to this store. Buy an Everywhere Belt Bag and you can have it embossed; pick up one of the selected water bottles and you can add a custom engraving.

Keychains are fun, but a bag you can mark as yours outlasts any unboxing video.

Three Ways to Get a Box

The blind boxes are another first for lululemon in Singapore, made exclusively for the ION Orchard reopening, and the brand has kept what’s inside under wraps. Getting one comes down to which of these suits your schedule:

Queue on opening day. The first 100 shoppers in line from 10am on 12 November each receive a box, so this route rewards anyone willing to set an early alarm on a Thursday.

Spend in store. From 12 November, a qualifying in-store spend earns a box, limited to one per transaction per guest and only while stocks last. It’s a sensible pick if you were already planning a haul, although we wouldn’t pad a basket for a surprise you can’t see yet.

Book a class at Design Orchard. This one’s live right now, and it’s the route we’d point most people towards since it hinges on neither a shopping bill nor an early queue. Every class spot booked comes with one box, capped at one per guest, and a daily challenge at the venue offers a chance to win another, with limited quantities each day.

Sweat First at Design Orchard

The pre-opening activation has been running at Design Orchard since Friday, 6 November, and it wraps up on Monday, 9 November. On the line-up are run, yoga, reformer Pilates and training classes, all led by lululemon ambassadors and leading instructors.

Booking happens through the Made to Feel registration page on Eventbrite, so grab a slot there before you make the trip down Orchard Road.

Once your workout’s done, there’s food and drinks from local partners to refuel with, plus a photobooth for the post-class group shot. It’s a low-pressure way to get a feel for the community side of the brand before the new store opens its doors.

If you’re new to reformer Pilates or nervous about keeping pace on a run, the mix of formats is the draw here. You can choose a class that matches your level instead of forcing yourself into one that doesn’t, and the blind box arrives either way!
