YEAH GELATO is running a 1-for-1 gelato promotion at its new Jurong Point outlet from today, 6 November, until 8 November 2026. That makes this weekend the cheapest way to find out whether Mala Peanut gelato is genius or a dare.
The Beijing-born chain soft-opened its seventh Singapore store in late October, and its new flavour line-up arrived at every Singapore outlet on 4 November. If you live out west, the store is at #01-59/79/80. YEAH GELATO lists its hours as 10.30am to 10pm.
Who Is YEAH GELATO, Anyway?
YEAH GELATO was founded in Beijing in 2011 and is known in Chinese as 野人先生. The brand calls itself the world’s largest gelato chain and says it has more than 1,850 outlets worldwide. Its whole pitch is traditional Italian gelato technique applied to flavours Asian palates already know, and Singapore was its first overseas market.
The brand says each store makes its gelato in-house every day, in small batches with fresh milk, with no preservatives or stabilisers. It adds that every batch is sold on the day it’s made, with nothing kept overnight. That’s why the selection rotates, which is worth knowing if you’re crossing the island for one specific scoop.
Jurong Point is where YEAH GELATO is debuting what it calls its first “elevated store concept” in Singapore.
Mala, Peanuts and a Dare
Mala Peanut (麻辣花生) is the flavour most likely to end up on camera. YEAH GELATO says it brings together the numbing spice of mala and the savoury, roasted character of peanuts, a playful take on a familiar Chinese flavour profile.

On paper it’s the riskiest scoop on the board, but the peanut base gives it something familiar to hold on to. If mala hotpot is your comfort food, this is the cup to try first, ideally with a friend who’s willing to record your reaction.
Black Vinegar Is the Sleeper Pick
Black Vinegar (老陈醋) sounds like the stranger order, yet it might be the smarter one. YEAH GELATO pairs the tang of aged vinegar with cream cheese in a dense, creamy gelato, and says the gentle acidity is balanced by a lingering sweetness.

That cream cheese is the clever bit. Sour-meets-rich is the same logic that makes a good cheesecake work, so this reads less like a stunt and more like a dessert with a sharp edge. Who knew?
Cempedak Stays in Singapore
The flavour you can’t get anywhere else is Cempedak (尖不辣), a Singapore exclusive built around the tropical fruit familiar across Southeast Asia. It’s the brand’s local nod in an otherwise China-leaning collection, and the one most likely to win over anyone who finds mala in a dessert cup a step too far.

The rest of the launch skews gentler. Misty Green Tea (云雾茶) takes its cue from the misty tea mountains of Ya’an in western Sichuan, blending finely ground tea leaves with fresh milk and matcha.
Then there’s a fruity trio: Guava Yakult, Papaya, and Passionfruit & Pineapple. Of those, Guava Yakult is the playful pick for anyone who grew up with the little bottles in their lunchbox.
The Classics Still Pull Weight
If the new flavours are the hook, the regulars are the safety net. Pistachio is one of the chain’s bestsellers, and YEAH GELATO says each scoop uses 29 Sicilian pistachios before being finished with pistachio powder.
Premium Rice has the best backstory. The brand says the recipe took five years of development, and each daily batch takes about three hours because the rice is washed, simmered with milk and cooled into a paste. According to YEAH GELATO, that’s why it’s usually only available from 2pm, so an early visit could leave you rice-less.
For something lighter, Hawthorn is vegan and gluten-free, with the sweet-tart flavour you might remember from Chinese haw candies.
How to Pay Less
The headline offer is the 1-for-1 gelato promotion, running from 6 to 8 November 2026 exclusively at Jurong Point. Mala Peanut and Black Vinegar make a tidy pair to split.

From 9 to 12 November 2026, the Jurong Point store switches to 50% off your second cup, again only at that outlet. Separately, from 4 November, anyone who signs up as a YEAH GELATO member gets 50% off their first gelato, and that one works at all seven Singapore outlets.
Our pick for a first visit: go this weekend, grab Mala Peanut and Black Vinegar on the 1-for-1, and come back another day for Cempedak, since it’s the one flavour you can’t chase down anywhere else. Swing by after 2pm if Premium Rice is on your list.
🗓️ Date: 1-for-1 from 6 to 8 November 2026; 50% off second cup from 9 to 12 November 2026
⏰ Time: 10.30am to 10pm, according to YEAH GELATO
📍 Location: YEAH GELATO, Jurong Point, #01-59/79/80, Jurong West Central 2, Singapore 648886

Whether mala gelato turns out to be the next big food trend or a one-weekend novelty, a 1-for-1 deal is the lowest-stakes way to settle the debate yourself, and Cempedak gives the trip a reason beyond the dare. Follow YEAH GELATO on Instagram at @yeahgelatosg for the next rotation, and get to Jurong Point before Sunday ends!
