Suntec City is turning its Tower 1 & 2 Atrium into The Ultimate Holiday Playdate from 12 November to 27 December 2026, a Christmas crossover of The Powerpuff Girls and We Bare Bears. The headline act for anyone over 12 is the evening snowfall at Suntec Plaza, the closest thing to a white Christmas Singapore’s 30-degree December is going to offer!
There’s a lot packed in, and some of it comes with spending conditions. Here’s what’s worth your evening and what you can skip.
The Beary Big Playground
The centrepiece is A Beary Fun Playdate at Suntec City Atrium (Tower 1 & 2). It runs daily from 11am to 9.30pm and, according to Suntec City, is free to play for Suntec+ Members (Suntec+ is the mall’s membership app). Three play zones make up the core of it, built around two oversized inflatables and an arena game.
The one people will photograph is the Mega Claw Machine, which Suntec City describes as a five-metre-tall Powerpuff Girls-themed installation. Instead of fishing for a plushie, kids dive into a colourful ball pit and pretend to be the prize waiting to be picked up. Finally, a claw machine where the claw can’t drop you at the last second.
Grizzly, Panda and Ice Bear front the Super Slide, an inflatable playground where children climb, roll and weave through obstacles before racing to the bottom. Next door, the Lava Arena runs a floor-is-lava challenge where families go head-to-head, and anyone who grew up hopping between sofa cushions knows the rules already.
Rounding out the Atrium are themed carnival games, including more claw machines, where players can win exclusive prizes. There’s a retail pop-up called the Power-Up Shop selling crossover merchandise and keepsakes too, which is handy if you have a fan to buy for this Christmas.
The play zones are clearly built for little ones. For a 20-something without kids, the appeal is mostly the photos and the nostalgia, so plan your visit around the next two sections instead.
Meet Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup
The Powerpuff Girls trio will appear for meet-and-greets at the Lava Arena at 2pm, 4pm and 6pm every weekend from 14 November to 27 December, plus a special appearance on Christmas Day. Each session lasts 30 minutes, according to Suntec City’s schedule.
There’s a catch, and it’s a small one. You need a photo pass, which requires a minimum spend of S$30 in a single same-day transaction at the mall. That’s roughly one decent dinner at Suntec, so if you’re eating there anyway, a photo with the girls who saved Townsville before bedtime is a fair trade.
The full session dates are 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29 November, then 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 25, 26 and 27 December. Go for the 6pm slot on a Saturday, grab dinner afterwards, and you’ll be perfectly placed for the snow.
Snow at Suntec Plaza
This is the part we’d actually cross town for. The Snowfall Show happens outdoors at Suntec Plaza every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12 November to 27 December, with each shower lasting about 10 minutes. Suntec City calls it a “real-life snowfall”.
On Fridays and Saturdays (including Christmas Day), showers fall at 7.30pm, 8.30pm and 9.30pm. On Sundays and Christmas Eve, there are two sessions at 7.30pm and 8.30pm. Since 12 November is a Thursday, the first snowfall is on Friday, 13 November.
The 9.30pm Friday or Saturday slot is our pick for anyone dodging the family crowd. It’s the last shower of the night and lands right as the Atrium play zones close, so you can finish a late dinner, walk out and still catch it with your phone ready.
Photo Spots and Filters
If you’d rather roam than queue, the whole mall gets Powerpuff Girls and We Bare Bears Christmas décor for the full run. Suntec City says to expect festive lights, Christmas trees, ornaments and interactive installations at both mall entrances, alongside themed photo spots.
The standout is an interactive walk-through Christmas tree, which sounds far more Instagram-friendly than another tree behind a velvet rope. Selected entrances will have web-based photo filters as well: scan the QR code and the characters join your shot without anyone downloading an app.
Fans who’ve already been riding the cartoon comeback wave, like the folks who snapped up Skechers’ Care Bears range, will find plenty of grid material here.
Is the Spending Worth It?
Suntec City is running stackable mall-wide spend rewards from 12 November to 27 December, all based on a single same-day transaction. Each tier is limited to one redemption per shopper per day and runs while stocks last.
- S$20 (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays): Free parking after 5pm
- S$80 (Saturday, Sunday and public holidays): Four hours of free parking
- S$80: Embroidery Stickers (set of two, random designs) and a S$5 Category e-Voucher (Kids, Gifts & Hobbies)
- S$180: Travel Blanket and a S$10 Suntec City e-Voucher
- S$180 (Suntec+ x yuu Members): An additional yuu gift, a yuuki plush in a random design
- S$1,500 accumulated from 16 November to 6 December: A 20-inch Cabin Luggage, redeemable only at the Atrium (Tower 3 & 4) customer service counter, one per shopper
The S$80 tier is the sweet spot. On a weekend, one transaction gets you the stickers, the S$5 voucher and four hours of parking, which covers the playground, a meet-and-greet and the snow in one trip. The weekday S$20 parking deal is great for a Friday-night snow run after work.
The cabin luggage needs S$1,500 within three weeks, so treat it as a bonus if you’re doing the whole family’s Christmas shopping in one place, not a reason to spend.
Plan Your Visit
Suntec City connects to two Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) stations, Esplanade and Promenade, and has over 3,000 parking lots across two basement carparks. If you’re driving on a weekend, line up your spending to hit that S$80 parking tier.
