Amara Hotels & Resorts is running a festive sale called A Season of More, with savings of up to 35% at Amara Singapore, Amara Sanctuary Sentosa, Amara Bangkok and Amara Shanghai. Bookings close on 3 January 2027. Stays run all the way to 31 August 2027.
That long stay window is the most useful part of the deal. The headline number needs more care.
Four Hotels, One Sale
Stays can start from 17 October 2026. One booking period covers four very different trips, which is a smart way to run a festive sale.
Amara pitches each property at a different kind of traveller. Amara Singapore sits in Tanjong Pagar, with heritage streets and Chinatown close by. Amara Sanctuary Sentosa is the island-without-a-flight option, near the beaches and attractions. Amara Bangkok is in Bangrak, between Chinatown and the creative corners of Songwat, and has a rooftop infinity pool overlooking the skyline. Amara Shanghai is in the busy Jing’An district, which the hotel sells on culture, shopping and dining.
If you’re picking one, Sentosa and Bangkok are the strongest fits for this sale. Sentosa gives you a resort break with no airfare added to the bill, so the discount makes up a bigger share of what you spend. The Extras Are the Real Deal
Every booking under the promotion comes with breakfast for two, welcome amenities and late check-out until 2pm, subject to availability. Book through Amara’s own website and the hotel promises “a little surprise” on top. Amara hasn’t said what that surprise is. Don’t book on the strength of it.
Breakfast for two is the extra most likely to save you money, though Amara lists it, like the other inclusions, as subject to availability, so confirm it when you book.
Late check-out is a different story. “Subject to availability” usually means the 2pm slot depends on how full the hotel is that day. Over Christmas and New Year, that could mean a lot of competition for it. Plan your day as if you’ll be out at the normal time, and treat a 2pm finish as a bonus if it comes through.
Doing the Maths on 35%
“Up to 35%” is a ceiling, not a promise.
Here’s what the top rate looks like at a few example prices, so you can see the most you could save. On an example S$300 night, 35% of S$300 is S$105, so you’d pay S$195 before taxes. On a S$600 two-night stay, 35% of S$600 is S$210, bringing it to S$390. On a S$1,000 longer stay, 35% of S$1,000 is S$350, leaving S$650.
Those are the best-case figures. Any lower rate, at any of the four hotels, shrinks the saving. The only way to know your real price is to put your actual dates into the booking page.
Read the Small Print First
Rates are subject to prevailing taxes and service charges. The release doesn’t say whether the discount is worked out before or after those charges are added. Compare the final total, not the advertised rate.
Applicable membership requirements apply. The deepest discount may only go to members. Check before you assume you qualify.
Property-specific terms and conditions apply. In practice, the rules at Sentosa may differ from those in Shanghai. Read the terms for the specific hotel you’re booking.
Blackout dates may apply. If you’re aiming for Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve, check those exact nights before you plan anything around the deal.
Check the terms on Amara’s offer page before you pay. It’s worth knowing whether you can cancel before you commit to a non-refundable rate.
Who Should Book
The best way to use A Season of More is to plan ahead rather than book on impulse for the holidays. With stays running until 31 August 2027, you could book in December for a June escape and lock in breakfast and the discount at today’s terms.
