Fans in Singapore can get into STARGLOW from home. The Japanese boy band’s new single “Slam Dunk” has been out since Monday, 26 October 2026, and you can stream it here ahead of their debut album Aurora on Wednesday, 18 November. Seeing them live is harder, because the 2027 arena tour their label announced runs 14 shows across seven cities, all in Japan.
If the name is new to you, that’s because STARGLOW only debuted in January 2026. The five-member group is signed to BMSG, the Japanese label led by founder SKY-HI. A September release from the group’s label, Avex Music Creative, says the members came out of THE LAST PIECE, BMSG’s audition series. Since debuting, they’ve hit the top of a chart, played arena shows and covered a League of Legends song, all before releasing an album.

Five Members, One Hoop
The label’s 27 October release calls “Slam Dunk” an energetic hip-hop track and the latest pre-release single from Aurora. The same release credits ReiNa of the dance crew RHT. with the choreography and describes it as some of the hardest the group has taken on. That’s a big claim from a group whose whole pitch is performance, so the video is the best place to test it.
The song is built around basketball. According to the label, it’s about STARGLOW pushing past obstacles and defying expectations. The music video takes that literally, with the five members performing on top of a basketball hoop suspended high above the ground, a city at night behind them. Hard choreography on a stage takes skill, but doing it up on a rim takes nerve, and that image is reason enough to watch the video before playing the audio on its own!
The single artwork goes somewhere else entirely. There’s no basketball on it, only a rocket climbing under a full moon, which fits a song about lift-off as neatly as the hoop fits a song about sport.
Debut to Arena in Seven Months
STARGLOW’s second single, “USOTSUKI”, reached No. 1 on Oricon’s Weekly Digital Single Ranking and No. 2 on the Billboard JAPAN Hot 100, two of Japan’s main music charts. Oricon and Billboard JAPAN both list those positions in their own chart archives. The label adds that the single earned the group nominations for Best New Artist and Radio Rising Artist of the Year at Music Awards Japan 2026.
The label’s release also says STARGLOW was the only Japanese act on British music magazine NME’s “100 Artists to Watch in 2026” list shortly after debut. The group played its first arena shows in August, which the release puts at between six and seven months after debut. The label calls that an unusually fast turnaround, and for a group that hadn’t released an album yet, the timeline backs it up.
A League of Legends Detour
This part is for gamers. TAIKI, KANON and ADAM covered “Live My Life” by HEARTSTEEL, the virtual group Riot Games created from the League of Legends universe. It’s a STARGLOW cover of an existing HEARTSTEEL track, released through the group’s own channel, rather than a new song or an announced joint project with Riot. The video follows the trio through the recording session. The label describes it as a look at the three members’ more unguarded side.
For League players who’ve never heard of STARGLOW, this is the easiest way in. You’ll be hearing three of their voices on a song you already know, so it’s easy to judge them fairly.
Three Aurora Tracks to Play First
Aurora has 14 tracks, according to the album details on STARGLOW’s official site. “Slam Dunk” sits at track four, “USOTSUKI” at track 11, and the album closes on “Moonchaser”, the group’s pre-debut song.

On release day, start with the unit songs. “1 of 1” pairs TAIKI with GOICHI, and “Cherry” brings together RUI, KANON and ADAM. Smaller line-ups make it easier to tell the five voices apart than a full-group single does, which helps if you’re still learning who’s who.
Then play track 13, “WISHES”. The label’s 22 September release says all five members helped write and compose it, alongside Bad Milk, PALMR and SKY-HI. That’s the same team behind “PIECES”, the song finalists performed in the last round of THE LAST PIECE, and the label calls “WISHES” the group’s answer to it a year on. It’s the closest Aurora gets to STARGLOW telling their own story.
The 2027 Tour Stays in Japan
Aurora leads into the STARGLOW 1st Arena Tour 2027 “Aurora – The Dawn -“, which the label lists as 14 shows across seven cities in Japan. The announcement doesn’t name venues or dates, and it doesn’t list ticketing details or overseas stops. Fans in Singapore will need to plan a trip to Japan if they want to catch it.
