You can taste Puglian olive oil, crunch on taralli and pick out a Sicilian wine to take home this November without spending a cent. Little Farms’ A Taste of Italy has been running in its stores since 19 October, and on 7 and 8 November it spills out into two free Farmers’ Markets at Serangoon Gardens and Tanglin Mall.
If the name is new to you, Little Farms is the neighbourhood grocer and café group that has stocked all-natural and organic produce in Singapore since 2016, and it now runs eight retail stores and eight restaurants across the island. A Taste of Italy is its month-long celebration of Italian food and wine, run in partnership with the Italian Trade Agency, and it continues until 18 November 2026.

For most of that month, the action sits on the shelves. Little Farms has put a curated selection of Italian products across its retail stores, from extra virgin olive oil and aged cheeses to artisanal pasta, cured meats and regional wines. The public events, though, are packed into one busy stretch from 6 to 8 November, and that’s the part worth marking on your calendar. An exclusive trade and media dinner also takes place on 5 November.
Free Entry, Two Weekend Markets
The Taste of Italy Farmers’ Markets are the easiest yes on the programme, since admission is complimentary and both run from 10am to 3pm. Expect to wander, sample and chat with representatives from the participating brands, then buy whatever wins you over.

Saturday, 7 November belongs to Little Farms Market, Serangoon Gardens at 1 Maju Avenue, myVillage. On Sunday, 8 November, the stalls move west to Little Farms Market, Tanglin Mall at 163 Tanglin Road. Both days share the same line-up, so simply go to whichever market is closer to home.
The producers lean south, with Puglia doing a lot of the heavy lifting. Olio Guglielmi brings extra virgin olive oils from that region’s long olive-growing tradition, and Terre dei Trulli is bringing taralli, the traditional ring-shaped baked snacks of Puglia. Rizzoli covers anchovies and preserved seafood, while Valcolatte handles mozzarella, ricotta and mascarpone. Casa Vecchio crackers and Patatas Nana chips round out the snack table.

The drinks side is worth a slow lap. Nicosia is a Sicilian winery whose roots go back to 1898, Famiglia Casadei is the second wine producer, and Amarcord brings Italian craft beer for anyone who’d rather not sip wine. Little Farms is adding its own Italian fresh produce table, with samples.
If you only stop at two tables, make it Olio Guglielmi and Valcolatte. Valcolatte matters for a sneakier reason: its mascarpone is the same one that goes into the dinner’s tiramisu. You can taste the restaurant version, then take home the tub that made it!
The S$88++ Dinner at Tanglin Mall
The Taste of Italy Dinner takes place on Friday, 6 November 2026 at Little Farms Table, Tanglin Mall, according to Little Farms’ event listing. It costs S$88++ per person. In Singapore, the two plus signs mean a 10% service charge and 9% GST are added on top, with GST charged on the price plus service.

According to the menu Little Farms has released, the meal opens with an amuse-bouche of Rizzoli Anchovy Mousse on Casa Vecchio flatbread with lemon oil. Guests then choose a starter of Beef Carpaccio with Parmigiano Reggiano, arugula and truffle lime dressing, or Heirloom Tomato Salad with smoked buffalo mozzarella, balsamic glaze and crispy basil.
The first course is where the choice gets harder. Risotto al Funghi brings Arborio rice, wild mushrooms, Valcolatte mascarpone, truffle and crispy kale. Capellini Tartufo Nero layers Filotea angel hair pasta with Fratelli Tanzi prosciutto, Ponte Reale buffalo burrata, cherry tomatoes, basil and truffle oil.

Go for the capellini. Burrata, prosciutto and truffle on one plate is the dish that reads most like a trip to Italy, and it puts three named Italian producers on your fork in a single bite. The risotto is the cosier choice if you’d rather have comfort food on a Friday night.
Mains run from Pollo alla Milanese, breaded chicken with Grana Padano breadcrumbs, Attianese San Marzano tomato and a trio bean salad, to Grilled Branzino, which is pan-seared seabass with cannellini beans, artichoke and salsa verde. The third option is Tagliata di Manzo, grilled beef striploin with mixed greens, avocado, basil tomato, pomegranate and rosemary jus. The striploin is the one for anyone who measures a dinner by the main course.
Everyone finishes with the housemade Nonna’s Tiramisu, made with Valcolatte mascarpone, Trucillo Espresso Speaks coffee and a dusting of cocoa, which makes five courses in all for S$88++.
Four Wines in the Botanic Gardens
On the same Friday, The Bloomhouse by Little Farms in Ginger Garden at the Singapore Botanic Gardens hosts the Italian Wine & Cheese Masterclass from 6pm, with tickets on Eventbrite. It costs S$65 per person and covers four Italian wines, moving from fresh whites to full-bodied reds. Each wine is paired with artisanal cheeses and charcuterie, and the session explains how the cheeses are made and why each pairing works.
Little Farms pitches the session at curious beginners and seasoned drinkers alike, but the first group gets the most from it. If you’ve ever frozen in front of a wine shelf, a guided tasting will teach you more than another bottle picked for its label. Places are limited, and because the masterclass overlaps with the dinner, you’ll need to choose one Friday plan.
Where to Spend Your Weekend
On a tight budget, the Farmers’ Markets give you the most for the least: free entry, free samples and a chance to stock your pantry. Anyone who enjoyed grazing at Farm House in Dairy Farm Mall will recognise the appeal. With one Friday night to spend, the dinner is the stronger choice for food lovers, while the masterclass suits anyone who wants to finally understand what they’re drinking.
