October is nearly over, and one of the month’s more unusual fundraisers is in the basement of TANGS on Orchard Road. Until Saturday, 31 October 2026, Origin Tea House is selling Riri’s Pink Crown, a S$12.90 rose, lychee and strawberry drink topped with beluga sturgeon caviar. 10% of its sales go to Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF).
The drink is part of Project Pink, the Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaign run by Riona Dighe, Miss Teen Universe Singapore 2026. She developed the recipe with the homegrown tea brand around her favourite colours and flavours. It has been on sale since Tuesday, 13 October, so anyone who has been meaning to try it has until Saturday.

Sweet Base, Briny Crown
Rose, lychee and strawberry make up the pink base. Origin Tea House then adds milk foam, 15-year-old beluga sturgeon caviar and a scatter of edible rose petals. That is a lot of topping for one cup!

Caviar on a fruit tea sounds like something a friend would order on a dare. The pairing makes more sense when you think of salted cheese foam on milk tea, where a salty layer offsets a sweet drink underneath. Lychee and rose are about as floral and sugary as flavours get, so a briny pop on top has an obvious job to do.
Whether you like the result comes down to taste. As something to talk about over drinks, though, it works whether or not you finish the cup.
It’s best to treat the caviar as a garnish on a pretty drink rather than a caviar course. With those expectations, you won’t feel short-changed when you look into the cup.
The Queen Behind the Cup
Riona Dighe is a runway model and a full-time university student in London. Her charity work started years before her modelling and pageant career. At 11, she led literacy and numeracy programmes for lower-primary students in rural India, and she later served as Head of Charity at Roderic House, Cheltenham Ladies’ College.

According to her team, she partnered with fashion house Alice + Olivia in June 2024 to raise £12,000 for Together for Short Lives, a charity supporting children with life-limiting conditions.
She picked breast cancer as this year’s cause because she connects it to women’s empowerment. For her, part of empowering women is encouraging them to look after their own health. “My hope with this partnership with Origin Tea House is that every sip starts a conversation, spreads awareness, and reminds us that even the smallest acts of kindness can create something extraordinary,” she said in the campaign’s launch release.

Where Your 10% Goes
The donation goes to a charity with a wide range of programmes. BCF was founded in 1997 and promotes early detection of breast cancer. It runs support groups, Healing Through the Arts sessions and a free wig loan programme. It subsidises prostheses and bras for women on low incomes, and it operates Breast Cancer Support Centres at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Woodlands Health and Tan Tock Seng Hospital. BCF is a registered charity and an Institution of a Public Character (IPC), and it relies on public donations to fund that work.
BCF chief executive Jacob Soo said he hopes the collaboration gets young women thinking about early detection. “Raising awareness about breast cancer doesn’t always have to start with a big conversation. Sometimes, it begins with simple, everyday moments that get people curious and talking,” he said. A pink drink with caviar on top should get people curious.
Worth a Detour to Orchard?
If you’re already in town, it’s an easy stop. You get a drink, a photo and a small donation at one counter. The Project Pink flower cart in the TANGS Level 1 atrium ran from 13 to 15 October and has closed, so head straight down to B1.
Whether it’s worth crossing the island for depends on how much you like floral teas. The donation from each cup is modest. The main reason to go is the sweet-and-salty pairing, which is not something most drink menus offer. If you’re planning a busy final week of the month, our Things to Do in Singapore: 23 October to 1 November 2026 round-up has more ideas nearby, and Things to Do in Singapore This October 2026 covers the rest of the month.
