New Zeekr 7X Adds a 100 kW Cat a Variant; Range Priced From S$279,999

The new Zeekr 7X now has a version built for Category A of the Certificate of Entitlement (COE) system, the usually cheaper bracket for smaller, less powerful cars. It launched in Singapore on 22 October 2026, Zeekr lists the range from S$279,999, and test drives are open now at the brand’s showrooms in Leng Kee and Ubi.

The Cat A car has a peak output of 100 kW, against 335 kW for the RWD Long Range and 500 kW for the AWD Performance.

What 100 kW Gets You

The Cat A model’s full name is the RWD Standard (Cat A), with RWD meaning rear-wheel drive. It has a 75 kWh battery and 520 Nm of torque, the same as the Long Range, and a 0 to 100 km/h time of 11.6 seconds.

Zeekr quotes a range of up to 598 km on the WLTP City cycle. WLTP stands for Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedure.

The whole range runs on an 800-volt electrical architecture, and Zeekr says ultra-fast DC (direct current) charging takes the battery from 10% to 80% in as little as 10.5 minutes, provided the charger you pull up to can deliver that kind of power.

Zeekr says the cabin offers massage functions for the front seats, power-reclining rear seats and a 21-speaker audio system.

The RWD Long Range has the longest WLTP City Range of the three at 788 km and a 5.5-second 0 to 100 km/h time.

The 500 kW AWD Performance (all-wheel drive) has a 3.7-second 0 to 100 km/h time and 790 Nm of torque.

New Driver-Assist Features

The new 7X runs an updated system on a J6M chip, fed by seven cameras and three radar units, and it adds Remote Parking Assistance, Stop & Go Warning and Automatic Emergency Steering.

There is also an integrated Digital Video Recorder (DVR), effectively a factory dashcam.

Purple Paint, Higher Plates

Outside, Zeekr has redrawn both bumpers. The front gains Active Grille Shutters with visible air ducts on either side, and the rear licence plate now sits higher up.

The automatic door micro switches have moved from the B-pillar (the post between the front and rear doors) onto the door handles themselves. Zeekr puts the dimensions at 4,800 mm long, 1,920 mm wide and 1,650 mm tall.

Mystical Purple joins Crystal White, Onyx Black, Forest Green and Tech Grey on the colour list.

Inside

The cabin gets a redesigned centre console, a brushed textile roof lining, and laminated glass for the front and rear side windows to keep road noise out. The rear cargo area is 616 litres.

The new interior themes are where the personality comes in. Black & Purple is the new option, while Black & Orange is reserved for the AWD Performance.

Black & Orange is available only on the AWD Performance, the top variant.

Isabel Hong, General Manager of Premium Automobiles BEV (part of Premium Automobiles, Zeekr’s exclusive Singapore retailer since 2024), said the update aims to make the 7X “relevant to an even broader group of drivers in Singapore”.

Entry is free. For the Cat A car itself, head to Zeekr’s showrooms for a test drive.
