LOUD has become the first organisation to win VALORANT Champions twice. Within a day of the final, keyboard maker IQUNIX sent out a release saying all five players won it on its EV63. If you’re eyeing a Hall Effect board, here’s the price. On IQUNIX’s official store, the EV63 is listed at US$169, and the Ghost in the Shell edition at US$249.
The store charges in US dollars and says shipping is calculated at checkout. Before you pay, it’s worth checking which parts of the brand’s claim hold up and which are only the brand’s word.

Four Maps to History
🗓️ Final played: Sunday, 18 October 2026
📍 Location: Mercedes-Benz Arena, Shanghai
🏆 Result: LOUD 3–1 Team Vitality (Summit 13–11, Lotus 8–13, Sunset 13–5, Haven 13–10)
⭐ Tournament MVP: Roberto “erde” Lobos

Independent match reports back up that scoreline. LOUD opened with a tense win on Summit, and Vitality hit back on Lotus. LOUD then ran away with Sunset and closed out the trophy on Haven.
erde, the tournament’s MVP (most valuable player), played on LOUD’s starting roster alongside lukxo, tkzin, Darker and DaviH. Vitality’s second-place money is a pleasant consolation, but it isn’t a trophy.

Why Two Titles Is a Big Deal
LOUD’s first world title came at VALORANT Champions 2022 in Istanbul, where the Brazilian side beat OpTic Gaming 3–1. In the three years after that, the trophy went to a different team each time. Evil Geniuses won in Los Angeles in 2023, EDward Gaming won in Seoul in 2024, and NRG won in Paris in 2025.
Match coverage of the 2026 final says no organisation had won Champions twice before this. In a game where the meta changes and rosters get reshuffled every season, winning twice four years apart is a serious achievement.
The Keyboard Claim, in IQUNIX’s Words
This is where the story becomes a brand story. In a release dated 19 October 2026, IQUNIX said the entire LOUD roster played the grand final on versions of its EV63 magnetic keyboard. The company also named a model for each player:

- lukxo: EV63 EDG Edition
- erde: Ghost in the Shell Collaboration: Cyber Blue
- tkzin and Darker: the forged-carbon EV63 Collector’s Edition
- DaviH: the crimson EV63 Red Knight
The independent match reports confirm the score, the MVP and the prize money. None of them mention keyboards. Until LOUD or the players say which boards they used, read that line-up as IQUNIX’s claim.
The release also says the EV63 gave LOUD the “unparalleled raw latency” it needed to win. That goes too far. IQUNIX’s own material documents a tuning partnership with EDward Gaming, not LOUD. EDG worked with IQUNIX on five rounds of joint tuning for the black-and-gold EDG Edition, which we covered in our earlier piece on that board. Five players on the same team winning three of four maps comes down to aim, teamwork and calls, and a keyboard can’t take credit for that.
What the EV63 Does Well
The EV63 uses Hall Effect switches, which read key presses with magnets instead of metal contacts. That makes Rapid Trigger possible: a key resets the moment it starts to rise, so you don’t have to wait for it to travel back to a fixed point. In VALORANT, that helps with counter-strafing, the quick tap in the opposite direction that stops your character before you shoot. IQUNIX lists 0.01mm Rapid Trigger sensitivity and 8KHz polling, and both figures are the brand’s own.

Independent testing is kind to the board, with a caveat attached. One review measured wired latency at 0.70ms with the OSLTT testing tool and placed it among the lowest results in its database. The same review said differences that small are unlikely to be noticeable in a game like VALORANT. That’s a useful reality check for anyone hoping to buy their way up the ranks.
Digital Foundry praised the full-aluminium shell, forged-carbon inserts and deep, rigid typing feel, and called the price reasonable for that build. It positioned the EV63 as a credible alternative to the Hall Effect boards from Wooting, Razer and SteelSeries for players who want competitive features without a plasticky feel.
Where Players Push Back
Players on Reddit like the build and sound, but the most common complaint is value. One reviewer, who disclosed receiving a free unit, thought the price was steep compared with rival Hall Effect boards. Others found the default RGB (the coloured backlighting) underwhelming and the spacebar noticeably louder than the other keys.
There are practical limits as well. The EV63 is wired-only, and its web software reportedly needs a Chromium-based browser. The 63% layout keeps dedicated arrow keys, but if you want a function row you should look at a bigger board instead. For a deeper introduction to switches and layouts, our chat with LandingPad about mechanical keyboards is still a good starting point.
Which One to Buy
Our pick is the standard EV63 at US$169, the cheapest way into the range. If you want the EDG Edition, you’ll have to wait, because it’s still marked Coming Soon.
LOUD’s second title is what this weekend will be remembered for, and erde’s MVP run gives Brazilian fans plenty to celebrate. If the final has you shopping for a Hall Effect board, compare the switch options and prices on the IQUNIX EV63 page. You can also look at the Ghost in the Shell Cyber Blue edition if the anime look appeals to you. Buy it because the build and the price suit how you play, since no keyboard will win you a trophy!
