Malcolm Todd Brings *Do That Again* to the Star Theatre on 30 November 2026

Malcolm Todd plays The Star Theatre on Monday, 30 November 2026, at 8pm. General sale tickets have been live on Ticketmaster.sg since 23 September, and they’re also available on the ticketing hotline at +65 6018 7645. Promoter Live Nation Singapore bills this one-night-only stop as his Singapore debut. If you’ve had “Earrings” on loop this year, this is your one chance to hear it live without leaving the country.

The Essentials

🗓️ Date: Monday, 30 November 2026
⏰ Time: 8pm
📍 Location: The Star Theatre, Singapore
🎟️ Tickets: General sale open since 23 September, 10am, via Ticketmaster.sg

Before you book:

  • Presales are over. The artist presale (21 September) and the Live Nation presale (22 September) have both closed, so general sale is the only route now.
  • Check the full total. Look at the seat map and the full checkout total before you pay.
  • Avoid unofficial resellers. If the show sells out, stay away from resellers on social media. Inflated prices are the best-case outcome there. Duplicated or fake tickets are the worst.
  • Plan for a Monday. It’s a school and work night, so sort out your ride home in advance.

Who Is Malcolm Todd, Anyway?

Malcolm Todd is a 22-year-old singer, songwriter and guitarist from Los Angeles who writes and produces much of his own music. He broke through with his Sweet Boy mixtape and its title track, which he co-wrote and co-produced with Charlie Ziman. His self-titled debut album followed in 2025, and then came his first Billboard Hot 100 hit, “Chest Pain (I Love)”. Both “Chest Pain (I Love)” and “Earrings” carry RIAA Platinum certification.

Singapore has been paying attention. Todd has fronted Spotify’s Hot Hits Singapore playlist as its cover artist. Most local fans probably met him through a playlist like that one, sandwiched between bigger names, before going down the rabbit hole of his older tracks.

If you know his face but can’t place it, it might be from Gap’s Fall 2026 “Denim on Your Own” campaign. He stars alongside actress Inde Navarrette and puts his own spin on Robyn’s “Dancing on Your Own”. It’s a good way to hear his voice: watch the Gap “Denim on Your Own” video.

The Album He’s Touring

Do That Again, his second album, came out on 5 June 2026 via Columbia Records. According to Billboard, it debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 with 67,000 equivalent album units. Live Nation adds that it climbed to #5 on the Apple Music Top 200 Albums chart, and that all 13 tracks entered the US Spotify chart. That’s a full streaming sweep, which tells you people played the whole record instead of cherry-picking the singles.

On the eve of release, Todd made his debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. He performed “Earrings” there, plus “I Saw Your Face” live for the first time. Watch the Fallon performance to get a feel for how the new songs hold up outside the studio.

In a 16 July 2026 conversation with Interview magazine, Todd explained what the title means. It’s about the instinct to chase an intensely happy moment again, with a darker undercurrent of feeling trapped in that loop. That’s a relatable feeling for anyone who has replayed a song 40 times in one commute!

Rolling Stone gave it four out of five stars, with Jon Dolan praising its self-awareness, genre blending and production.

Our read is that the album rewards people who already like his laid-back, R&B-tinged pop, and the live show is where the doubters get converted.

What He’s Been Playing Live

The North American leg opened on 2 September 2026 at The Pavilion in Irving, Texas. Fan-logged setlists on Setlist.fm show a remarkably steady show from city to city. Here’s how the Irving night ran:

  • Length: 24 songs in about 80 minutes
  • Openers: “Jean Skirt”, “Breathe” and “Malcolm in the Middle”
  • Middle stretch: Most of Do That Again, plus older favourites like “Walk to Class”, “Bleed”, “You Owe Me” and “Sweet Boy”
  • Closing run: “Earrings” and “I Saw Your Face”, back to back
  • Encore: “Do That Again” followed by “Roommates”

That ending is the part worth staying for, and it’s about as strong a finish as his catalogue allows. One Minneapolis night even threw in the iCarly theme song after “Do That Again”, so expect the occasional curveball. There’s no guarantee Singapore gets the identical running order, but the US setlists have barely budged.

Reviews of those shows have been consistently glowing. Parklife DC covered his 20 September set at The Anthem in Washington, D.C. It said Todd and his band gave the songs “distinct live energy” and reported a sold-out crowd of 6,000. Melodic Magazine noted that he sold out two Toronto nights at HISTORY and called him an artist worth watching. By Live Nation’s account, he had never played a show three years ago, so that’s quite a trajectory.

The Monday Night Question

Here’s the honest catch: 30 November is a Monday. An 8pm start at The Star Theatre means a late night before a working or school Tuesday. It’s worth planning your ride home and maybe lining up a slower morning.

If the date truly doesn’t work, the Asia leg does offer other options:

  • Taipei: 23 November
  • Yokohama: 25 November
  • Manila: 27 November
  • Singapore: 30 November (The Star Theatre)
  • Seoul: 2 December
  • Bangkok: 6 December
  • Kuala Lumpur: 9 December
  • Jakarta: 12 December

Kuala Lumpur is the obvious backup for Singapore fans. But once you’ve paid for a coach or flight and a night’s stay, sucking it up on a Monday at home looks like the better deal.

Before You Hit Checkout

You can buy tickets through Ticketmaster Singapore or by phone on the ticketing hotline (+65 6018 7645). The artist presale (21 September) and the Live Nation presale (22 September) have both closed, so general sale is the only route now.

Check the seat map and the full checkout total before you pay. If the show sells out, stay away from unofficial resellers on social media. Inflated prices are the best-case outcome there, while duplicated or fake tickets are the worst!

Malcolm Todd went from zero shows to theatres full of people singing his most private lyrics back at him in about three years. Now Singapore finally gets its turn, on one Monday night at The Star Theatre. If “Earrings” or “Sweet Boy” has soundtracked your year, sort out your seats on Ticketmaster.sg before they’re gone. Keep an eye on Live Nation Singapore for show-day updates, and catch up on his music at Malcolm Todd’s official website so you know every word by 30 November!
