How to Plan Your Halloween Night in Singapore with Our Hub: Scare Levels and Getting Home

Our free Halloween hub sorts Halloween events across Singapore and Johor, from 17 October to 1 November 2026, by how scary they are, and builds a night out for you in four steps. There is no sign-in, and the short link is dnm.fyi/halloween.

This guide shows how each part works, in the hub’s own words, from setting a scare level to planning your night to getting home after a scare night.

What the Halloween Hub Is

The bottom bar has five views: Tonight, Scare Level, My Run, Map and Guide. After 8pm the Map tab becomes Getting Home. Tonight shows the lead pick for tonight and Also Tonight, My Run holds your saved picks, and Getting Home shows last trains and the way off Sentosa.

The Scare Level view has four levels, and the hub remembers yours on your phone. You can also set it by link: Level 0 or Level 3, and 1 and 2 in between.

  • 0 Easy: “Family-friendly; kids have a great time.”
  • 1 A Little Spooky
  • 2 Proper Scares
  • 3 Full Haunt

The ratings come from organisers’ own descriptions of the events. Level 0 means a family activity whose organiser describes no scare element. The organiser’s own age rule is shown on every event, separate from our level.

The hub covers events in Singapore and Johor, including LEGOLAND Malaysia, where you need a passport. By the hub’s own conservative count, every date up to Saturday 31 October has at least three Level 0 family outings.

Times and prices come from the organisers. Where a price is from an earlier read, the hub says “(published ; check before booking)”. It compares published prices only and never adds them up.

Plan My Night, Step by Step

Open the Plan My Night planner. It has four steps and then Your Plan, and every step has Back, Skip and Next.

Step 1: Who’s coming? Pick everyone who applies: kids, family, friends, colleagues, a date or solo.

Step 2: Which nights? Tonight, This Weekend, Halloween Weekend or All Nights, or tap dates. Each date shows “N for you”.

Step 3: What are you into? Goodies (trick-or-treat, trails, treats), Food (dinners, brunches, supper clubs), Themes + Scares (haunts, mazes, costumes) or Drinks + Nightlife (parties, bars, clubs; “Not with kids: 18+ venues” appears when kids are coming). Set a budget per person, from Free Entry to Over S$100, or leave it at All Prices, and turn on Rain-Proof: Indoor Only if you need it.

Step 4: How scary? “The most you’d go up to.” Levels 0 to 3 show how many picks each has on your nights. You can also leave out Strobe Lighting, Fog or Haze and Tight Spaces: “We leave out events whose organisers warn of these. Others may still use them, so check before you go if it matters.”

Your Plan then lists your nights and your stops in order, with the area and time. Each stop has Details and Remove. If your stops are in different parts of town the hub shows a route warning, and it adds a getting-home note based on the picks in your plan. The plan is saved on your phone, and you can Copy Link or Share Plan.

With kids? The family plan opens a ready-made plan (Kids + Family, Goodies + Food, up to Level 0) across the coming nights, and on every date up to 31 October the hub has at least three family picks.

The Getting Home view lists the ways off Sentosa: the RWS8 bus to VivoCity on Halloween Horror Nights 14 nights (last bus 1:45am, about every 20 minutes), the Sentosa Express, the North East Line from HarbourFront, and the Sentosa Boardwalk. The Boardwalk is open, with a detour near Sentosa; the linkway hours are not stated.
