From Friday, 16 October 2026, a new Skechers USA pop-up at Jewel Changi Airport #B1-256 lets you try on Skechers’ dressier shoes in a room built around a lounge area. Women’s Cleo flats cost S$89 and men’s leather slip-ins start at S$129, so if comfy shoes keep popping up on your feed, this is where to test whether Skechers can look smart enough for the office.
Skechers describes it as its first dedicated Skechers USA concept pop-up store in Southeast Asia, and it stocks two collections called Modern Comfort and Men’s USA. The idea is easy to grasp: the cushioned insoles the brand is known for, built into pointed flats, Mary Janes and leather Oxford-style uppers you’d pair with trousers rather than track pants.
A Shoe Shop With a Sofa
The pop-up goes for warm beige and neutral tones, curved architectural details and textured surfaces, while curved wooden fixtures, illuminated shelving and individual display tables hold the shoes.
There’s a dedicated lounge area for pausing between pairs, plus a large digital screen playing Skechers campaigns. On paper, the space sounds closer to a nicely done-up HDB living room than a sports shop, and that suits shoes designed to look calm rather than athletic. For anyone squeezing in some shopping before a flight, a proper seat to try shoes on is a bigger perk than it sounds!
One practical note before you go wandering. Skechers’ store listings put its regular Jewel shop on Level 2 at #02-201, so take the escalator down to the basement for this one.
Three Cleo Flats, One Clear Pick
All three women’s styles, the Cleo Point, Snip and Taylor, are listed at S$89 each. Each pair uses a Skechers Air-Cooled Memory Foam insole and a Stretch Fit design for a flexible, sock-like feel, so the real differences are in the details rather than the comfort tech.

The Cleo Point comes in Rose with a pointed toe, which makes it the most office-friendly shape of the three, and Skechers says it’s made with recycled materials under its Our Planet Matters design. The Cleo Snip is the Lavender Mary Jane with a soft knit upper and a traction outsole, the prettiest of the trio if you lean towards a softer, girlier look.
The pick of the bunch is the Cleo Taylor in Taupe. It has a traction outsole and a machine-washable build, it’s made with 100% vegan materials, and Skechers says its woven jacquard and sock-knit upper carries at least 20% recycled content by weight. A neutral colour, grip for slick Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station floors and a quick wash at the end of the week is a very Singaporean set of priorities.

Leather Slip-ins for Office Days
Men get two Hands Free Slip-ins styles, Skechers’ range of shoes you step straight into without wrestling the heel. Both come in Black, with an Exclusive Heel Pillow at the back to hold your foot in place and flexible traction outsoles underneath.

The Skechers Hands Free Slip-ins: Garza – Duran (S$129) passes for a classic leather Oxford, with No Tie Fit laces designed to stay put so you never have to retie them. Inside, Air-Cooled Memory Foam and Memory Arch cushioning sit with a charcoal-infused insole meant to help neutralise odour, which is a thoughtful touch for anyone wearing leather through a humid commute.
The Skechers Hands Free Slip-ins Relaxed Fit: Arch Fit Garza – Umar (S$139) drops the laces for a leather and synthetic upper with twin gore panels. It carries the Seal of Acceptance from the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), and its Relaxed Fit gives extra room at the toe and forefoot. Skechers says the removable Arch Fit insole was developed from 20 years of data and 120,000 unweighted foot scans.

The Garza – Umar has no laces to loosen, so a try-on in store is the easiest way to check the fit across the top of your foot, and the pop-up has a lounge area where you can sit and compare.
Bags to Round It Out
Three women’s bags complete the line-up: two shoulder bags at S$29 and S$39, and a tote at S$69. Skechers’ product photos show soft blues, greys and tans finished with brown leather trim, the same quiet palette as the Cleo flats.

At S$29, the cheaper shoulder bag costs less than any shoe in the room, which makes it the easy add-on if you’ve already settled on a pair of Taylors and want the whole outfit to look planned.
Before You Head to B1
If Skechers in your head means gym-class trainers and walking shoes, this pop-up is the brand’s case for a smarter reputation.
It’s a long way from the Care Bears sneakers Skechers priced from S$49 last month, and that spread is the appeal: comfort-first shoes that now come in shapes you could wear to a client meeting. It suits two kinds of visitor in particular. Travellers with an hour to spare before check-in get somewhere to sit and browse, and office workers who’ve been eyeing slip-ins can finally judge the leather pairs in person. Skechers advises that stock and sizes vary by store, so check with the team on the day if you need something unusual. New to the basement level?
