Skechers D’Lites Turns 20: Rhinestones, Leopard Print, and Chrome From S$119

From Wednesday, 14 October 2026, Skechers plans to stock four new versions of its chunky D’Lites sneaker at 17 stores across Singapore, from VivoCity to Northpoint City, with prices starting at S$119. There’s also a lace-free version, built for a country where shoes come off at nearly every front door. If your shoe rack is split between comfy pairs and pairs you’d let anyone photograph, this birthday drop is aimed at that gap.

The D’Lites debuted in 2006, when flip phones were a status symbol and side-swept fringes were close to mandatory. Twenty years later, Skechers Singapore is marking the anniversary with the women’s Skechers D’Lites 20th Anniversary collection. A separate hands-free version for both men and women arrives alongside it, which turns a nostalgia drop into something more practical for anyone who simply wants easier shoes.

Same Chunky Sole, Four New Moods

All four styles keep the thick, sculpted D’Lites sole that made the shoe recognisable from across a mall atrium. The changes happen on top. The anniversary model, called simply 20th Anniversary, costs S$119 and dresses a layered duraleather and mesh upper with rhinestones, jewellery-inspired accents, and metallic trim, in Black Rose Gold, White Rose Gold, and Natural Gold.

Chrome Wave, also S$119, is the most polished of the four. It mixes mesh, synthetic material, and genuine leather with metallic piping, layered webbing details, and a high-shine trim along a lightweight midsole. Colours are Black Rose Gold, Natural, and Grey.

Wild Charm (S$119) brings the leopard print, which runs across a layered upper of synthetic material, genuine suede, and mesh. It comes in Black, Taupe, or White, and the taupe is the easiest to slip into an outfit you already own.

Then there’s Bling Bling at S$139, which covers its embroidered fabric upper in rhinestones from toe to heel. It comes in Black or Off-White and makes no attempt at subtlety.

Skechers says every style in the collection uses its Air-Cooled Memory Foam insoles and flexible traction outsoles. According to the brand, the 20th Anniversary, Wild Charm, and Bling Bling styles add shock-absorbing midsoles for extra cushioning, so the sparkle is meant to hold up through a full day out rather than a single photo op.

Y2K Never Quite Left

The D’Lites is a product of the mid-2000s, and this range leans into that heritage with the glossy metallics and over-the-top detailing of the era, rather than smoothing them away for a modern update.

If your wardrobe already leans vintage, a fresh pair of D’Lites sits comfortably next to the finds in our thrifting tips from Nicole Chin. Few things say early-2000s revival like a rhinestone sneaker under a secondhand denim skirt!

The Slip-In for Lace Haters

The second launch is the Skechers Hands Free Slip-ins: Arch Fit D’Lites 330, priced at S$179 and available for both men and women. It takes the D’Lites look and swaps the usual shoelace routine for Skechers’ step-in construction: you push your foot in and go, with no crouching and no fingers involved.

That matters more in Singapore than the spec sheet suggests.

Fans will spot familiar faces in the campaign. K-pop group SEVENTEEN appears in the D’Lites 330 visuals, and Skechers named members DK, SEUNGKWAN, and DINO as its regional brand ambassadors earlier this year.

On the technical side, Skechers lists a Heel Pillow to hold your foot in place, an Arch Fit insole system for cushioned support, and a Goodyear rubber outsole for traction and durability. A mesh and overlay upper with adjustable laces keeps it looking like a regular sneaker, so nobody needs to know you never tie them.

The men’s version comes in Olive, Black, and White, while the women’s version comes in Light Blue, Natural, White Black, and White.

Which Pair Earns Your S$119

If you’re buying one pair, make it Wild Charm. The leopard print gives you the statement, the lace-up shape keeps it wearable on a Tuesday, and you get genuine suede for the same S$119 as the anniversary model. Chrome Wave offers comparable value with genuine leather, which makes both a better deal on materials than the price tag lets on.

Bling Bling is for the maximalists: the extra S$20 buys rhinestones from toe to heel, enough sparkle to carry from year-end parties into Chinese New Year visiting season.
