GTA VI Radio Guide: 6 Stations, Podcasts and a 34-Track Album

Rockstar has finally shown what Grand Theft Auto VI sounds like: six radio stations, the series’ first in-game podcasts, and a 34-track album landing alongside the game on 19 November 2026. This guide is for Singapore gamers who want the full picture before launch, and for music fans who came for Cardi B’s new single and want to know what else is on the dial.

The Six GTA VI Radio Stations

For anyone new to the series, radio has always been half the fun of GTA: you steal a car, and whatever station it’s tuned to becomes your mood for the next ten minutes. Rockstar calls this line-up a preview of its “biggest and widest-ranging selection of in-game radio yet”, with “hand-picked” stations running from classic rock to talk radio. Every host plays an in-game alter ego, which is where the line-up gets fun.

Cocoteo FM is the Latin station, with Bad Bunny hosting as El Martillo and RaiNao as La Gata. Expect bachata, merengue, dembow and reggaeton, so this is the one to leave on for late-night drives along the coast.

Back Country Radio plays what Rockstar calls “renegade country”, hosted by Morgan Wallen as MW and Lana Del Rey as Delta Dawne.

Lana Del Rey voicing a country DJ is the casting surprise of the whole announcement. Even if country isn’t your thing, it’s worth tuning in at least once to hear what Delta Dawne sounds like between songs!

AfroBank FM is hosted by Burna Boy as Burna and selector Palms Trax as Palmsy. Its range runs from 20th-century African classics to amapiano and 3-step, which makes it the widest musical spread on any of the six.

That breadth is why AfroBank FM is our pick for the station most likely to send people to their streaming apps afterwards. A Burna Boy hosting gig pulls in the curious, and a selector like Palms Trax digging through decades of records is the kind of education you rarely get from an algorithm.

Flash FM is the returning pop station from Vice City, now hosted by Robyn and model Alex Consani as Alex. Long-time fans will recognise the name, and pairing it with Robyn, a pop artist with serious club credentials, tells you this version won’t play it safe.

The Chamber 106.6 is the metal station, and the obvious soundtrack for a police chase.

Dirty South Classics closes the list with Southern rap and hip-hop, hosted by Trick Daddy and Trina as Trick and Trina. Both are Miami rap names, which suits a game set in a Florida-inspired state.

If you’re only going to explore two stations in your first week, make them AfroBank FM and Back Country Radio. One offers the most music you probably haven’t heard, and the other has the strangest casting on the dial.

Rockstar’s announcement doesn’t say how many songs each station carries. It’s also silent on whether every album track turns up on the radio, so treat the station line-ups as the confirmed part.

📅 19 Nov 2026 (Rockstar’s planned launch) · 📍 In-game, in vehicles or on foot via the characters’ smartphones

Podcasts You Can Take on Foot

The bigger change to how you’ll listen is the on-demand podcasts, a first for the series. Protagonists Jason and Lucia can play them away from terrestrial radio, and both podcasts and stations work on foot through headphones or earbuds connected to the characters’ smartphones.

That matters more than it sounds. In older GTA games the radio died the moment you left the car, so any walking section went quiet. Rockstar hasn’t named the podcast shows or their hosts yet, which leaves the talk side of the game a mystery until launch.

The Album and Don’t Chart

Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album is a 34-track original soundtrack made with Atlantic Records. It’s due on 19 November 2026, the same day as the game, on streaming, CD and vinyl.

Cardi B’s Don’t Chart, produced by Timbaland, was released on 9 October 2026 as part of the official soundtrack, according to Warner Music Southeast Asia’s release, and the track features prominently in the game.

Which to Queue Up First

The choice splits two ways. If you want something to play now, start with Cardi B’s Don’t Chart, released on 9 October 2026. If you’d rather wait for the full experience, the six stations and podcasts arrive together on 19 November, alongside the complete album.

Our pick is the singles first, then AfroBank FM the moment the game boots up. The singles give you a taste without spoilers, and AfroBank’s range is the clearest sign that Rockstar’s curation runs deeper than chart hits. Keep an eye on Rockstar Games’ official channels for launch updates and the next batch of music news. Your Grand Theft Auto VI playlist starts building now!
