Race weekend has arrived on the Marina Bay Street Circuit, running 9 to 11 October 2026, and you don’t need a grandstand seat to get in on it. This guide covers three smaller race-week plans: a gin cocktail you can win for free, a pet obstacle course and the most dressed-up after-party in town. It’s for drinkers on a budget, families bringing the dog and anyone planning a big Saturday night. Tickets, zones and the rest of the weekend live in the Singapore Grand Prix 2026 guide.

Beat the Clock, Drink for Free
Here’s the one that turns a bar visit into a time trial. Brass Lion Distillery’s The Hot Lap asks you to build its signature race-week cocktail against the clock, and the distillery puts the deal plainly: “Race against the clock in The Hot Lap to build The Twilight Sprint, our colour-changing Butterfly Pea Gin cocktail. Beat the qualifying time and your drink is free.”
The drink is the Twilight Sprint, made with Brass Lion’s own Butterfly Pea Gin, and that colour change is the fun part. You get to watch it happen in your own hands rather than having a bartender do it for you, which makes a better story than most cocktails you pay for.
The Hot Lap is already running and continues until 31 October, according to the Singapore Tourism Board. That makes it the only item here that outlasts race weekend. Check The Hot Lap page before you head over to Alexandra Terrace.
Who it’s for: competitive friends who will argue over the stopwatch. It’s the low-stakes way to feel race-week energy without paying race-week prices. With three weeks of runway left, we’d save it for a quieter weeknight after the circuit crowds have cleared.

A Pitstop for Pets
Wildseed Café has turned race week into something the whole household can do, dog included. Paws, Play & Pitstop has been running since 2 October and wraps up on Sunday 11 October, across all four Wildseed cafés: The Summerhouse, The Garage, Alkaff Mansion and 1-Flowerhill.
The headline act is The PAW-dium Race, which Wildseed describes as “a pet-friendly obstacle course featuring tunnels, jumps and weave poles.” That’s a proper course with weave poles, so your corgi gets to cross the finish line before Sunday night’s drivers do.
For the kids, there’s a race-themed Family Bubble Show by CJ the Bubble Girl at the Singapore Botanic Gardens café. Check its GPSS page before you load the car.
Who it’s for: families and pet owners who want race week without road closures and a crowd of thousands. With only the weekend left, Saturday morning is the time to go.

Amber Lounge After Dark
At the other end of the price scale sits Amber Lounge, back at The Clifford Pier, The Fullerton Bay Hotel on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October. The tourism board’s listing calls it “its signature FORMULA 1 weekend afterparty”, with premium drinks, race-themed luxury and “performances by headlining DJs.” This is the dress-up option of the four, and it doesn’t pretend to be anything else.
Amber Lounge’s after-race party runs at The Clifford Pier on both race nights. Ticket prices are on the organiser’s page.
The 2023 edition earned its “most glamorous afterparty” billing, and the format hasn’t changed: late, waterfront and expensive. If you’d rather party somewhere else, 1-Group, 1-Atico and temper are in our concerts, stages and after-parties guide.
Who it’s for: anyone treating race weekend as the night out of the year. Sunday carries the post-race energy, while Saturday is the night you can sleep off before the main race.

So, Which One?
These three suit different crowds. Wildseed’s PAW-dium Race is the one for the family, Amber Lounge is the splurge, and The Hot Lap at Brass Lion is the cheap thrill. If race weekend is already booked solid, The Hot Lap is the only one still pouring after Sunday.
If you can only do one, make it The Hot Lap. Every other plan here ends on 11 October, but Brass Lion gives you until 31 October to try. It’s the only one where skill can bring the bill down to zero, and a colour-changing gin cocktail you built yourself makes a better story than one you were handed.
Check the timing rules and qualifying time on Brass Lion’s The Hot Lap page. Lights out and away we go!
