Lewis Hamilton’s +44 Pop-Up Closes 11 October: Your Marina Bay Sands Race Week Plan

Lewis Hamilton‘s streetwear label Plus44 (+44) has its first shop in Southeast Asia in the basement of The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, and it closes on Sunday, 11 October 2026. From Thursday, the resort’s bars start pouring Almave, his alcohol-free agave spirit, and that one stays a good deal longer.

Hamilton is a seven-time Formula One (F1) world champion who now drives for Scuderia Ferrari HP, and he is scheduled to race in the Singapore Grand Prix on that same Sunday. The night race has had its quieter years, as DANAMIC’s recap of the 2024 Grand Prix recorded, which is a fair argument for having something to do off the track.

The partnership was announced on 21 September and comes in three parts: a pop-up store, a signature cocktail, and a week of Almave drinks across the resort’s restaurants. Each part keeps its own calendar, so the order you tackle them in matters more than you’d think.

The Spaceman Lands at B1-148

The pop-up’s main draw is Plus44 Marina Spaceport, a limited-edition capsule made with Jahan Loh, the Singaporean contemporary artist whose Spaceman figure runs through his work. The collection puts that Spaceman into racing colours and shapes, which gives it a local signature that most race-week merchandise never bothers with.

On the rails are hoodies, tees, shorts, jerseys, and a celestial camo tracksuit, with accessories and a bespoke art collection sitting alongside. +44 has previously worked with Takashi Murakami and Hajime Sorayama, so Loh joins a short list of artists that Hamilton’s label has already put its name beside.

The capsule covers apparel, accessories, and a Plus44 Spaceman collectible, and the collectible is the piece to chase, since it’s the one most directly tied to Loh’s art.

The capsule is sold at the pop-up and on the +44 website, so missing the queue isn’t fatal. The store’s regular +44 range is there too, while stocks last, and that phrase is doing real work in a week when the whole paddock is in town.

Queue Rules Before You Go

Marina Bay Sands lists the opening hours as 10.30am to 10pm from 6 to 11 October, with the public allowed to start queueing from 8.30am. Overnight queueing is strictly not allowed, which should calm anyone feeling kiasu (Hokkien for “afraid of losing out”) about camping beside the escalators.

No registration is needed to shop, although entry runs through a managed queue because the store has a maximum occupancy. There’s no purchase limit for now, but +44 reserves the right to add one on certain items, and any limit will be announced in person at the store.

Payment is by major credit card or Shop Pay. The hours can shift depending on how much stock is left, and any change goes up on +44’s Instagram page, @plus44world, so check it before you leave home. A weekday morning visit makes more sense than braving the weekend, when race crowds fill the whole bay.

Agave, Minus the Alcohol

Almave is a non-alcoholic blue agave spirit made in Mexico by Dr Iván Saldaña, Master Distiller at Casa Lumbre, in partnership with Hamilton. It’s made with real agave and distilled in traditional copper stills, and the brand describes itself as the first non-alcoholic blue agave spirit brand of its kind.

There are three expressions, Almave Blanco, Almave Ámbar, and Almave Humo, and all of them are due to make their Southeast Asian debut on Thursday, 8 October 2026. They arrive under Zero Edit, the resort’s programme of premium alcohol-free drinks.

The appeal is easy to see for anyone who skips alcohol but is tired of being handed a glass of sweetened juice at dinner. The catch is availability, because Almave is exclusive to Marina Bay Sands in Singapore for one year, so you won’t find it at your neighbourhood bar.

Where to Order The Lewis

The Lewis is a zero-proof cocktail that Hamilton co-created with Marina Bay Sands. From 8 to 15 October, it’s on the menu at Bread Street Kitchen, LAVO Coastal Italian Restaurant & Rooftop Bar, Mott 32, WAKUDA Singapore, and Yardbird Southern Table & Bar, as well as through in-room dining for hotel guests.

Running over the same eight days is The Almave Circuit, a set of bespoke Almave cocktails served at WAKUDA Singapore, LAVO, Spago by Wolfgang Puck, Mott 32, Yardbird, and Paiza Sky Residence. Four venues appear on both lists, which makes them the efficient stops: LAVO, Mott 32, WAKUDA, and Yardbird.

Yardbird is the practical pick, because it sits directly opposite the pop-up and turns a shopping trip into one tidy outing. It’s the only one of the four that drops off the list for The Lewis after 15 October, so this is the week to go. LAVO is the choice for anyone who wants a rooftop with their zero-proof drink.

After the Chequered Flag

From 16 October 2026 to September 2027, The Lewis moves to a longer list: Bread Street Kitchen, CUT by Wolfgang Puck, estiatorio Milos, LAVO, Mott 32, Spago by Wolfgang Puck, WAKUDA Singapore, and Paiza Sky Residence. So while the streetwear leaves on Sunday, the drink stays for a year.

The exception is the bottle. Almave bottles are sold at The Gift Shop at Hotel Tower 2 from 8 to 15 October only, so that Thursday is the true deadline for anyone hoping to pour it at home. For the record, there are no Hamilton-themed hotel packages.

Champion, Then Shopkeeper

Athletes lending their names to products is old news, and the more interesting move here is ownership. Hamilton is the founder of +44 and a co-founder of Almave, and he is using the busiest week on Singapore’s sporting calendar as a shop window for both. He calls Singapore “a city that I always love returning to”, and Irene Lin, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Resort Marketing at Marina Bay Sands, says his “influence extends far beyond the racetrack”.

For readers, the test is cheap to run. A basement unit and a handful of restaurant bars are a low-stakes way to judge whether a driver’s side projects have substance, and a Singaporean artist’s Spaceman on the hoodie suggests somebody did the homework.
