Formula 1 (F1) drivers George Russell and Kimi Antonelli will be at adidas Brand Centre Orchard on Thursday, 8 October 2026, and getting near them takes a S$250 spend plus some luck. Their appearance is the headline act of adidas Singapore’s race-week line-up with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team, which has been running across Orchard Road and Raffles City since 27 September.
Everything else on that line-up is cheaper and more certain: two car displays, racing simulators at four stores, and a limited-edition pastry at Alice Boulangerie in Raffles City. Before anyone taps a card, it helps to sort the walk-up stuff from the gamble.

Why Every Mall Wants In
The numbers explain why brands crowd the shopping belt in race week. According to the Singapore Tourism Board, 300,641 people attended the 2025 Singapore Grand Prix over three days, up 11.7% from 2024 and the second-highest attendance in the race’s history. Trade publication TTG Asia, citing VisaNet data, reported that traveller spending during that race week ran about 45% above a typical week, with night-time spending up by more than 90%.
A brand with a store near the track would be silly to sit that out, and shoppers get the upside. adidas has company, too, with PUMA’s Speed Station at 313@Somerset flying Ferrari red and McLaren orange a few doors down. A race-week mall crawl now covers three teams without a Grand Prix ticket.

The S$250 Question
Here’s how the driver appearance works, according to adidas Singapore. Fans enter an exclusive adiClub giveaway on the adidas App with a minimum spend of S$250, terms and conditions apply, and the full mechanics sit on @adidasSG‘s Instagram page. adiClub is the brand’s membership programme, and sign-up is on adidas’s site.
The important word there is giveaway. The S$250 buys an entry, and an entry is a chance to get close to both drivers rather than a guaranteed spot in the room.
Treat it as a bonus on a purchase already planned, never as a ticket. A jersey from the Vanda Bloom Collection is valued at S$129 in a separate Raffles City contest, so two pieces of that sort come to S$258 and clear the threshold by S$8. Anyone who was eyeing team merchandise anyway loses nothing by entering, and everyone else is paying S$250 for a maybe.

A Pastry in Team Colours
The sweetest item on the list is at Alice Boulangerie in Raffles City, where adidas Singapore has commissioned an exclusive Vanda Bloom-inspired pastry, on sale from 1 to 12 October. It takes its cue from the floral motifs of the adidas x Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team Vanda Bloom Collection, and it’s sold only at this one outlet, unit #01-22A.

adidas describes it as velvety mousse and handcrafted chocolate petals on a rich, buttery raisin cookie base. As race-week souvenirs go, this is the rare one that can be eaten on the spot.
There’s a contest attached too. Members of the public can win a Vanda Bloom Collection jersey worth S$129 and a special Alice Boulangerie pastry box worth S$77, with full details on @rafflescitysg on Instagram.

The contest offers a chance to win the jersey, with full details on @rafflescitysg on Instagram. Check the entry terms there before counting on it, but it’s a second shot at the purple-and-teal look.
An F1 Car at the Mall Door
The adidas x Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team Pop-Up runs at L1 Stamford Square, Raffles City, until 12 October, from 10am to 10pm daily. A replica showcar of the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One W17, the team’s 2026 season race car, is parked right at the main entrance, so nobody needs to hunt for it and the photo spot is built in.

Inside, the pop-up sells the latest team collection alongside Singapore-exclusive accessories. There’s a racing simulator, plus a display of replica race suits and helmets modelled on those the drivers wear. The partnership is in its second year, and adidas says the 2026 range leans towards simplicity and comfort.
The showcar has a flashier cousin as well. adidas has wrapped a Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 4MATIC+ Coupé in an exclusive livery drawn from the Vanda Bloom Collection, with the range’s floral motifs spread across the bodywork in deep purple. It’s the same Singapore-inspired design that runs through the jerseys and the pastry, only blown up to the size of a car, and it’s easily the prettiest thing on four wheels in this whole line-up!

That coupé is stationed outside adidas Brand Centre Orchard rather than at Raffles City, so anyone who wants both cars on the camera roll has two stops to plan. Start with the W17 replica at the mall door, then save the florals for Orchard.
Lap Times for a Follow
The racing simulators are the best-value stop here, because the price is a tap and a form. Follow @adidasSG on Instagram, sign up as an adiClub member, and the seat is open for laps on virtual versions of high-speed circuits.

They run until 12 October at four spots: adidas Brand Centre Orchard, the Raffles City pop-up, adidas ION Orchard, and adidas Marina Bay Sands. The first three keep 10am to 10pm hours daily. The Marina Bay Sands store opens at 10.30am and runs to 10pm from Sundays to Thursdays, stretching to 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
Orchard’s Flower-Wrapped Coupé
Back on Orchard Road, a Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 4MATIC+ Coupé sits right outside adidas Brand Centre Orchard from 10am to 10pm daily, wearing an exclusive livery drawn from the Vanda Bloom Collection. No registration is needed, so this one suits anybody already walking past with a phone out.

One activity has come and gone. The store’s jersey customisation sessions, which added Smocked, Gathered Sides, or Lace Hem details to official team jerseys, ran over the last two weekends of September. Anyone turning up for them now will find the cars and simulators instead.
