On Wednesday, 7 October 2026, four Formula 1 (F1) drivers walk into three city-centre malls: Charles Leclerc at CQ @ Clarke Quay, Fernando Alonso at Raffles City, and Audi’s Nico Hülkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto at Funan. No race ticket is needed for any of it, but two of those appearances start at the same hour, so a plan will serve you better than luck.
All three stops belong to CapitaLand’s Race To Indulgence 2026 – The City Edition, which has been running since 14 August and wraps on 11 October, the same Sunday the Singapore Grand Prix 2026 weekend ends. Alonso is the newest name on the list, and his arrival turns a mall campaign into a free driver-spotting session in the middle of race week!
The 5pm Problem
Read the two headline timings side by side and the snag shows up quickly. Leclerc appears at Ray-Ban’s Beyond The Track pop-up at Fountain Square, CQ @ Clarke Quay, from 5pm, while Alonso is at the Breitling x Aston Martin Aramco Formula One pop-up at Raffles City from 5pm to 7pm.

Chasing both means abandoning one crowd to join the back of another, which is a reliable way to see neither driver properly. Pick one and commit. Then chope your spot early, which is Singlish for reserving a place before anyone else gets to it.
Alonso’s slot is the friendlier one for anyone leaving the office at 6pm, because it comes with a stated two-hour window.
Leclerc, Ferrari Red, Linen Sunglasses
Beyond The Track has been open since 1 October and stays until 14 October, with free admission and regular hours of 11am to 10pm. The centrepiece is the Scuderia Ferrari SF-23, the team’s 2023 F1 car, parked where anyone can walk right up to it. Around it are two race simulators set on the Marina Bay Street Circuit, a Reflex Test, and a Pit Stop Challenge that times a tyre change. Record-setters win Scuderia Ferrari HP merchandise while stocks last, and every participant leaves with a voucher to spend at the pop-up.
The pair to look for first is the Flax Fiber Limited Edition, which Ray-Ban says is crafted from linen fibre and sold only at this pop-up. Next to it is the Singapore Special Edition, a black metal frame with dark grey polarised lenses, red rubber temple tips, and a double bridge, designed around the night race. Of the two, the Flax Fiber is the real reason to make the trip, since no other store carries it.
One line in the fine print matters a lot on Wednesday: the pop-up is closed from 2pm to 6.30pm on 7 October for scheduled events. Anyone who wants a go on the simulators or a pair engraved should come before 2pm or return after 6.30pm. The later option has a bonus, because Music Matters Live brings live performances and projection mapping to CQ from 7pm that night.
Alonso Outside a Watch Boutique
Over at Raffles City, the Breitling x Aston Martin Aramco Formula One pop-up sits outside the Breitling boutique at #01-35. It opened on 3 October and runs until 12 October, with a racing simulator, a reaction test, and Aston Martin Aramco team memorabilia to browse.

The collector’s piece here is the Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team, which Breitling is limiting to 1,959 pieces. Most people will admire a limited-run chronograph through the glass and move on, which is perfectly fine when the simulator costs nothing to try.
The smarter play is to treat the watch display as the warm-up and the driver as the main event. Two hours sounds generous until a mall atrium fills up, so arriving ahead of 5pm is still the safest bet for a clear view.

Funan’s Raffle Question
Funan’s adidas x Audi Off The Grid pop-up has taken over the mall’s Main Atrium and Underground Pedestrian Link since 29 September, and it stays until 11 October. It pairs the Audi R26 F1 show car and the Audi RS 5 with pit stop challenges, motorsport-themed photo spots, and the adidas x Audi Revolut F1 Team collection.

Hülkenberg and Bortoleto join it on 7 October, and there are two ways to see them. Public viewing is open to everyone. Closer access runs through an adiClub raffle on the adidas app, which has a minimum spend that includes at least one item from the team collection.
A raffle entry is a chance and never a guarantee, so the spend only makes sense for someone who was buying the teamwear anyway. Everyone else loses very little by watching from the public area and putting that money towards race weekend instead. Funan’s Instagram account, @funansg, is the place to check for the timing on the day.
No Driver, Still Worth a Lap
Raffles City has a second pop-up a short walk from Alonso’s, and it makes a handy way to kill time before 5pm. The adidas x Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team pop-up runs until 12 October, with the team’s performance teamwear alongside the Singapore-exclusive Vanda Bloom collection.

Shopping is only half of it, since replica race suits, helmets, and a show car are on display beside a racing simulator anyone can try. That simulator is the consolation prize for readers stuck at work on Wednesday, because it will still be there through the race weekend.
The same logic applies across the campaign: the drivers are a one-evening affair, but most of the hardware stays put. Ray-Ban’s pop-up even outlasts the Grand Prix itself by three days, which leaves room for a calmer visit once the crowds have gone home.

Two more stops round out the map. Bugis Town (Bugis Junction & Bugis+) hosts official F1 merchandise store pop-ups, with apparel from Mercedes-AMG, Red Bull Racing, and Ferrari. Plaza Singapura has INNERDRIVE 2026 powered by MEURAKI, which swaps F1 drivers for meet-and-greets with Singapore athletes. For plans beyond the malls, there’s a rundown of where to eat, drink, and shop off the track, and race ticket holders have separate perks waiting at Changi Race Season 2026.
