Amazon Prime Big Deal Days 2026 runs on Amazon.sg from 12am on 6 October to 11.59pm on 8 October (Singapore time). It’s open to Prime members, which costs S$4.99 a month or S$49.90 a year. Members get discounts of up to 40% off brands like Stanley and Owala, and Amazon says items from its International Stores reach Prime members in as little as two days. If you’ve been eyeing an American water bottle, a Japanese pen or a German teddy bear, these 72 hours are the ones to plan your cart around.
This edition works differently from past ones. In May 2026, Amazon announced it would discontinue its Singapore retail and third-party marketplace businesses from 7 July and keep Amazon.sg’s international selection from the US, Japan and Germany. That makes this the first Prime Big Deal Days where the whole store is imports. The smart play follows from that: leave the laundry detergent alone and hunt for things that rarely turn up on a Singapore shelf.
A Shorter Window This Year
Last year’s edition ran for seven days, from 7 to 13 October 2025. This year’s lasts three, so there’s far less time to sit on a half-filled cart and hope for a better price. It also ends two days before 10.10.
That timing hands you a tidy division of labour. Amazon.sg no longer runs a local store, so it isn’t competing on groceries and household basics. Leave those for Shopee and Lazada on 10 October. Use 6 to 8 October for the imported brands you’d otherwise pay a shipping middleman to bring over, like a Stanley or Owala bottle at up to 40% off or a Columbia jacket at up to 35% off. Split your list across the two dates like that and neither half of it gets bought at full price.
In Amazon’s announcement of the sale, Peter Li, Country Manager of Amazon Singapore, pitches the event as “another opportunity to enjoy great savings on quality brands” for members. Whether that holds for you depends on which brands you pick.
The Imports Worth Your Cart
Owala and Stanley (up to 40% off) top the preview list, and they’re the easiest pick of the lot. These insulated bottles are the ones people carry from the gym to the office and onto the MRT, and 40% is the deepest discount Amazon has named. “Up to” means that’s the ceiling, though, so some colours and sizes will get less.
Columbia (up to 35% off) is the sleeper hit for anyone with a year-end trip to Japan, Korea or Europe booked. Outerwear is a pain to shop for in a city where it’s 31°C in December, and 35% off a proper jacket beats paying full price at the departure gate.
The gifting shelf covers Melissa & Doug and Crayola (both up to 30%), Playmobil (up to 25%) and Steiff (up to 20%). Amazon says items from its International Stores arrive in as little as two days for Prime members. A Steiff bear at 20% off is a shiok (Singlish for deeply satisfying) way to cross off one niece before November.
Uni (up to 15% off) will tempt the stationery crowd, but it’s the one to double-check. Amazon says Prime members already get up to 10% off over a million products on Amazon.sg year-round. If a Uni pen you want already carries that everyday member discount, the event price could be only a few percentage points lower. Compare before you commit.
Run the Maths Before Checkout
New members can start with a free 30-day trial of Prime. Sign up any time this week and the trial covers all three sale days with room to spare. It then renews at S$4.99 a month or S$49.90 a year, so put the renewal date in your calendar the moment you sign up.
If you’re paying S$4.99 for a single month to shop this sale, your savings need to beat that before you’re ahead. One Owala at 40% off clears the bar easily. A single pen at 15% off might not.
The other trap is the phrase “fast and free on eligible items”. Free delivery isn’t universal, so check that each product carries the eligibility badge before you pay. Otherwise a bargain can quietly shrink at checkout.
Three Tricks for Three Days
The best extras aren’t on the banner. Global Store Flash Vouchers drop daily at 12am, 12pm and 6pm, giving extra discounts on international products while stocks last. The midnight one on 6 October is the drop most worth staying up for, since everyone else is asleep.
