Every football watch party has three kinds of people: the tactics nerd, the one who’s there for the wings, and the one whose sneakers match the kit. Homegrown artist Tobyato has designed one jersey for all three, and Guinness x Tobyato: Season Two has been up for grabs since 15 September 2026.
The limited-edition jersey comes with interchangeable Food Fan, Fashion Fan, and Football Fan patches, so the shirt shifts with whoever’s wearing it that weekend. It’s free, as long as your basket holds S$55 worth of Guinness.
Who Is Tobyato?
Tobyato is the professional name of Toby Tan, a Singapore artist who mixes traditional Asian folklore and pop culture into bold, swirling artwork. His murals have gone up in Jakarta, Paris, and Los Angeles. Closer to home, plenty of Singaporeans have walked past his work without knowing whose it was. At 38 Tanjong Pagar Road, a mural commissioned by art platform The Artling retells the Malay legend of Hang Nadim, the boy who saved old Singapura from attacking swordfish. On Club Street, the 10-metre Gelato Dragon he painted beside Messina’s store in 2026 borrows from the dragons perched on Thian Hock Keng Temple.

Brands noticed. His client list runs through Nike, ASICS, Levi’s, Samsung, and UNIQLO. For ASICS, he painted his own take on the Gel-Lyte III to mark the sneaker’s 30th anniversary. When the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 launched in 2023, he drew Folding Phone, Hidden Dragon, a CASETiFY case design that makes the phone’s fold part of the artwork. The Singapore Tourism Board commissioned his Sneaker Stone Dragon installation for ComplexCon Hong Kong and described him as “one of the most recognisable and influential creative voices” in Singapore.
Season Two follows last year’s first Guinness x Tobyato collection, which put his illustrations on two jerseys, caps, sling bags, and sports towels. One motif showed a toucan balancing a pint, a wink at Guinness’s vintage mascot. Another drew a Guinness can as a salute to the Kallang Wave, the rolling crowd cheer Singapore football fans made famous at the old National Stadium. Guinness says that range got such a strong response that the pair came back for a second season.
Food Fan, Fashion Fan, or Football Fan?
Season Two kicks off alongside the new Premier League season, and Guinness is the league’s official beer. The concept takes its cue from the rituals around a game: the pre-match meal, the agonising over which jersey to rep, and the conversations that carry on long after the final whistle. So each jersey gets three interchangeable patches. A wearer can be a Food Fan, Fashion Fan, or Football Fan, then swap when the mood changes, and fans can customise their jerseys at selected Guinness roadshows once dates and venues are announced.
The patch to chase is Food Fan, no contest. In a city where matchday plans revolve around supper spots and a late-night prata run (roti prata is the crispy, flaky flatbread Singapore eats at 2am), it’s the most honest badge of the three. Football Fan suits the purists. Fashion Fan belongs to the friend who owns more kits than full matches watched, and that’s a perfectly respectable way to love the game.
Tobyato sees the patches as a way to bring different crowds to the same table. “Singapore is a small country, and our communities are naturally small too,” he said in the launch announcement. “I hope collaborations like these can serve as a bridge for different communities to enjoy together, from football, to food, to fashion and beyond.” Seen that way, each patch is a conversation starter, a quick signal that helps the foodie and the die-hard find each other in the same crowd.
The S$55 Catch
Here’s the fine print. The jersey is a gift with purchase, and you redeem it with a minimum spend of S$55 on Guinness products at participating retailers. The promotion runs from 15 September 2026 while stocks last, so waiting for the roadshow dates before you buy is a gamble.

Four Guinness products count toward the total: Guinness Draught in Can, Guinness Nitrosurge, Guinness 0.0, and Guinness Foreign Extra Stout. That last one is the coffeeshop favourite known as Ang Ji Gao, sold here since 1869. Redemption opened at FairPrice, Cold Storage, Sheng Siong, and Shopee on 15 September. FairPrice Online joins on 17 September, followed by RedMart and Cold Storage Online on 30 September.
Spend-and-redeem freebies are a familiar retail move in Singapore, and UNIQLO’s Thank You Festival offered a novelty insulated tumbler back in 2023. A piece of wearable art by a local name is a better reason than most to hit the threshold. Friends pooling cash for a Saturday screening can reach S$55 together, so just decide beforehand who keeps the shirt.
The Alcohol-Free Stout Joins In
Launching alongside the jersey is Guinness 0.0, the brand’s alcohol-free stout, and Guinness says Singapore is the first Southeast Asian market to get it. Brewers at St James’s Gate in Dublin spent four years developing it. Their cold-filtration process is designed to take out the alcohol while keeping the dark ruby-red colour, the creamy head, and the notes of roasted barley, coffee, and chocolate.

For jersey hunters, 0.0 matters for a practical reason. It counts toward the S$55 spend, so fans who skip alcohol can get in on the drop too. Mind the calendar, though: Guinness 0.0 rolls out from October 2026, so September baskets will have to lean on the other three.
The stout already has a good reputation overseas. Wirecutter, The New York Times’ product review site, named it the best non-alcoholic Irish stout in its 2026 roundup of alcohol-free beers. That’s a big endorsement for a drink arriving in the middle of football season.
From October, look for it at participating pubs, bars, and restaurants islandwide, plus selected FairPrice Finest, Cold Storage, and Sheng Siong outlets. Prefer delivery? RedMart, PandaMart, and Shopee will carry it as well.
So, Is It Worth S$55?
If you already stock up on Guinness for weekend matches, this is an easy yes: a free collectible from an artist who has worked with Nike and ASICS. For everyone else, it comes down to whether one of those patches feels like you. October’s alcohol-free option makes the spend easier to justify if you don’t drink. The best merch lets fans say who they are, and Season Two gives them three ways to do it.
