Stags Head’s Race Weekend Happy Hour
Getting a dinner table on race weekend is a qualifying session of its own, so it’s welcome news that Stags Head Steakhouse is keeping its kitchen open all day. From Friday 9 to Sunday 11 October 2026, the modern London steakhouse on Level 3 of Pan Pacific Singapore opens at 11.30am and takes its last seating at 10.30pm.
Plan your afternoon around Happy Hour. It runs 3pm to 7pm every day, Saturday and Sunday included, with one-for-one beers, ciders, cocktails and wines in the Library Bar & Lounge. Buy a drink and the chef’s sliders come on the house, which neatly covers the gap between a late lunch and the walk to the gates.
Dinner centres on a wood-fired grill burning charcoal and applewood. The cut to know is the Australian F1 Wagyu Porterhouse, where F1 means a first-generation Wagyu cross, not a racing car. It’s a happy accident, and the timing is perfect. The Tomahawk and the Dry-Aged Bone-In Sirloin make up the rest of the big sharing cuts.
The rest of the menu leans British. Irish oysters and baked bone marrow with oxtail jam start things off, and Yorkshire puddings with beef dripping jus come on the side. A new sharing Cottage Pie pairs slow-braised Wagyu and bone marrow with pommes purée and a sourdough crumb. Call it pub food in a dinner jacket.
Pan Pacific Singapore is at 7 Raffles Boulevard, within walking distance of Promenade MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) station on the Circle and Downtown lines. You book through Stags Head’s SevenRooms page. The restaurant strongly recommends booking early, since race weekend brings some of Marina Centre’s biggest crowds of the year.

Barilla’s Gran Ruote Racing Pasta
Watching from the sofa? Barilla has made pasta shaped like racing wheels. The limited-edition Gran Ruote Racing Edition is ridged, made in Italy from 100% durum wheat and cooks to a firm al dente bite. Barilla is Formula 1’s Official Pasta Partner, and this is the first in its series of special editions.
Boxes have been reaching shelves progressively since 17 August 2026 at FairPrice Online, RedMart and selected FairPrice and Cold Storage outlets. Progressively means your neighbourhood supermarket may still be waiting for stock. Check the two online stores first and save yourself a wasted trip.
The idea comes from Domenica Italiana, the Italian ritual of spending Sunday cooking and eating together. Melissa Chin, Head of Categories and Marketing at Barilla South & Southeast Asia, said the pasta brings together “the excitement of racing and the joy of sharing good food”. Singapore’s race runs under the lights on Sunday night, so you have the whole afternoon for a long Italian-style lunch.
Andrea Tranchero, Barilla’s Executive Chef for Asia Pacific, has written two Gran Ruote recipes for home watch parties. Go with a thick sauce, because the ridges are there to hold it. On race night, a big bowl of wheels beats a bag of chips.

The S$358 Sunday Roast, Divided
Back to Stags Head, because the prices on its British Sunday Roast call for a calculator. It’s served every Sunday at lunch and dinner. Race day on Sunday 11 October gets both sittings, so a long roast can fill the hours before the race.
The headline figure is the 800g Chateaubriand at S$358. Stags Head says its sharing cuts serve two to five guests, so a full table of five pays about S$72 each before drinks. The 400g Chateaubriand costs S$188, so doubling the beef adds only S$170 and the bigger cut is better value per gram.
The Dry-Aged Bone-In Sirloin is aged in-house for at least 45 days and comes as 500g (S$192) or 900g (S$318). That works out to roughly S$38 per 100g for the smaller cut and S$35 for the larger one, bone included. Not a beef person? There’s a 600g Dingley Dell Double Pork Chop (S$168) and a 600g Barnsley Lamb Chop (S$198), and every cut is finished on the wood-fired grill.
Every roast comes with beef-fat roasted potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, beef-jus gravy and two seasonal vegetable sides that change each week. August’s sides included cauliflower cheese gratin with Tunworth cheese and roasted baby carrots with Attiki honey. Executive Chef Oliver Hyde said the rotating sides mean “there is always something different to come back for”.
The one thing to get right is the pre-order. Without one, some roasts take about 70 to 80 minutes to reach the table, so order yours when you book on SevenRooms. On race Sunday, that’s more than an hour of watching other tables eat.
It’s the same Stags Head at Pan Pacific Singapore, near Promenade MRT. For four or five people, pre-order the 800g Chateaubriand. Couples should get the 500g sirloin instead: it costs S$4 more than the 400g Chateaubriand and adds 100g to the plate, bone and all.

Threads of the City Jerseys
If you grew up staring at the patterned floor tiles at your ah ma‘s (grandmother’s) place, adidas and Audi had the same idea. Threads of the City, the adidas x Audi Revolut F1 Team Fanwear Collection, turns Singapore’s vintage tile patterns into streetwear graphics. It’s the first fanwear pack from Audi Revolut’s partnership with adidas, and it lands in Audi’s first F1 season with its own factory team.
The campaign was shot in Singapore, and the collection went on sale on 1 September 2026. You can buy it on the adidas Singapore website, at the official adidas Lazada store and in 16 stores across the island, from adidas Brand Centre Orchard and adidas Marina Bay Sands to adidas Causeway Point in the north.
The best place to buy it is Audi House of Progress at 18 Cross Street, close to Telok Ayer MRT station on the Downtown Line. It’s Audi’s multi-floor flagship, where car customisation and test drives share the building with a bakery and an evening bar.

Chequered Flag at Jewel Changi Airport
No boarding pass needed for this one. Chequered Flag has opened at Jewel Changi Airport (#02-212/213), selling official Formula 1 merchandise, racing-inspired footwear, motorsport clothing and premium collectibles. Jewel calls it Singapore’s destination for motorsport culture. For fans in the east, it means gearing up without fighting through Marina Bay.
Here’s a handy detail: adidas Jewel Changi Airport is one of the Threads of the City stores. That puts official F1 merch and Audi’s tile-print jerseys under one dome. Families can add a stop at the new LEGO® Certified Store, two floors up at #04-204/205.

Glenfiddich’s Aston Martin F1 Cocktails
This drinks collaboration comes from two men who plan for things that don’t exist yet. Glenfiddich Malt Master Brian Kinsman creates whisky that won’t be ready for years. Adrian Newey, Managing Technical Partner at the Aston Martin Formula One Team, shapes the airflow around cars that haven’t been built.
That shared mindset inspired the Glenfiddich & Aston Martin Formula One Team 16-Year-Old Limited-Edition Release No.2, announced in Singapore on 8 September 2026 as the partnership enters its second year. You can taste it by the glass, too. Until 31 October, Glenfiddich is running race-inspired cocktail experiences at VUE, ANTI:DOTE, TEMPER, Writer’s Bar, Tess Bar and High House, and it encourages booking ahead.
Two of the six are near City Hall MRT: Writer’s Bar at Raffles Hotel and ANTI:DOTE at Fairmont Singapore. Both are a comfortable stroll from the Padang, which makes them easy nightcap stops for Zone 4 ticket holders.
Here’s the best part: the cocktails stay on for three weeks after the chequered flag. Skip the race-weekend crush and book a quieter night after 11 October, when the bartender has time to walk you through each drink.

Mercedes has gone full orchid for Singapore. The adidas x Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team Vanda Bloom Collection takes its pink and purple colours from the Vanda Miss Joaquim, Singapore’s national flower. The team’s signature teal runs along the shoulders, collars and cuffs, and the official driver’s jersey has a blooming orchid on a purple base.

CapitaLand’s Race To Indulgence
CapitaLand has turned five city-centre malls into one long pit stop. Race To Indulgence 2026: The City Edition runs until 11 October 2026 at Bugis Town (Bugis Junction and Bugis+), CQ @ Clarke Quay, Funan, Plaza Singapura and Raffles City Singapore. Expect race car displays, driver meet-and-greets, and shopping and dining rewards across all five.
Start at Funan, where the Audi and adidas activation puts the R26 F1 show car alongside interactive activities, and you don’t need a race ticket to see it. Funan hosts INNERDRIVE® 2026 powered by MEURAKI as well. Next, head to Raffles City Singapore, a short walk away, for the Vanda Bloom pop-up and a Breitling activation with pit-lane games and an exclusive driver meet-and-greet.
The other three malls have their own draws. Bugis Town has official F1 merchandise pop-ups with Mercedes AMG, Red Bull Racing and Ferrari apparel. CQ @ Clarke Quay hosts Ray-Ban’s Beyond The Track pop-up for its Scuderia Ferrari collection, with race-themed challenges and live entertainment. Raffles City is right above City Hall MRT, and Funan is a few minutes on foot from the same station. Lau Pa Sat’s Race Weekend Screenings
You don’t need a ticket to enjoy race weekend in the Central Business District (CBD), and at Lau Pa Sat it comes with satay. The hawker market has race-inspired photo spots and food deals from 27 September to 11 October 2026. From 9 to 11 October, it goes all in with live screenings on two 130-inch screens and Heineken® 0.0 activities. It’s the same heritage market that ERDINGER Oktoberfest 2026 turns into a beer tent for two weekends, so it knows how to host a crowd.
Friday is the night to go. At 7.45pm on 9 October, performers and dancers parade through the hawker centre and end by flagging off Sprint Qualifying. Stay close to Kopi Kiosk during the show. A surprise 20-minute Buy 1, Get 1 Free deal on Heineken® 0.0 cans and Heineken® pints runs there, and the timing is announced on the spot.
Slot-car racing runs all weekend with a live leaderboard. Buy two cans of Heineken® 0.0 from Kopi Kiosk or a roving brand ambassador to get a race token, and the three fastest racers win prizes. Getting Around Race Week
Race week changes the roads around Marina Bay for days, not only on race day. The Land Transport Authority (LTA) posts each year’s road closure times and bus diversions in the weeks before the race. In 2025, closures ran from 1 to 7 October on Nicoll Highway, Raffles Boulevard, Stamford Road and nearby roads.
That affects two stops in this guide. Stags Head’s hotel is on Raffles Boulevard, and Raffles City Singapore faces Stamford Road, so take the train to Promenade or City Hall instead of driving. Check LTA and the train operators for any extended MRT and bus hours before a late night out.
This is a Sprint weekend. Sprint Qualifying is on Friday 9 October, qualifying is on Saturday 10 October and the race is on Sunday 11 October, so Friday night is a big one and worth planning dinner around. If You Can Only Pick One
Go to Lau Pa Sat on Friday night. It’s the only stop in this guide where you can watch Sprint Qualifying on a giant screen for free, without a race ticket. You get a flag-off party and satay smoke drifting past, which is race week at its most Singaporean.
