If a Frieren episode has ever kept you glued to the screen through the end credits, you already know milet. The Tokyo-born, Canada-raised singer-songwriter is bringing milet ASIA TOUR 2027 to The Star Theatre on Saturday, 27 February 2027. It will be her first concert in Singapore.
Tickets go on sale on SOZO Live on Friday, 18 September 2026, at 12pm, with prices running from S$98 to S$248. Plenty of fans across Southeast Asia have only ever heard her through earbuds and anime end credits. That doesn’t leave much time to sort out a budget and a group chat.
The Voice You Already Know
milet grew up between two worlds. She was born in Tokyo, spent her youth in Canada and now sings in both Japanese and English. Then there’s the voice itself: low, husky and a little raspy, the kind you can pick out of a shuffled playlist within a couple of notes.
Her major debut came in 2019 with inside you, a track produced by Toru of Japanese rock band ONE OK ROCK. She built her name on prominent Japanese shows and went on to perform at the closing ceremony of the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, a wild line to have on your CV so early in a career. She has since released three studio albums and several extended plays (EPs), with more on the way.
Demon Slayer, Then Frieren
For many anime fans outside Japan, the way in was Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc. milet teamed up with rock band MAN WITH A MISSION on the season’s theme songs, Kizuna no Kiseki and the ending track Koi Kogare. A breathy, husky vocalist trading lines with a rock band sounds like an odd match on paper, but it lands on the track.
Then came Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, the quiet, bittersweet fantasy about an elf mage who outlives the adventuring party she once travelled with. milet sang Anytime Anywhere for the first season and The Story of Us for the second. That makes her the sound of the show’s goodbyes, which is a heavy job for an anime this good at making grown adults tear up.
In a January 2026 interview about coming back for season two, she said she wrote The Story of Us hoping it could work like the words of Himmel, the late hero whose memory shapes Frieren’s whole journey. She added that the song gave her a push as well. Once you know what her previous year looked like, that line hits harder.
A Break, Then Budokan
In April 2025, milet stepped away from music for four months. On a Nippon TV music show that aired on 15 September 2026, she opened up about why. She said that since her debut she’d spent five or six years singing at full speed without looking back.
The pressure piled up without her noticing, until there were days she couldn’t get out of bed. She said stopping was the right decision, and she credited words from her mother with helping her choose to return.
The comeback was big. Sports Hochi reported that her Ray of Water concerts at Tokyo’s Nippon Budokan on 13 and 14 February 2026 drew 17,000 people over two days, and the paper singled out the light and water effects. Sponichi counted 21 songs and noted that she danced on stage for the first time.
She had already won over crowds outside Japan. Her first Asia tour in 2024 included a headline show at Taipei Music Center on 1 December 2024, and a press release carried by Jiji Press put the tour’s total attendance at about 23,000.
Demon Slayer fans hoping to hear the collabs have some reason to be optimistic. She sang Kizuna no Kiseki without MAN WITH A MISSION during her set at Kaohsiung’s Megaport Festival in 2026, and Koi Kogare was in her set at a multi-artist show back in 2024.
Singapore Gets One Night
So far, the 2027 tour has three confirmed stops. Hong Kong opens at AsiaWorld-Arena on 24 January 2027, Singapore follows on 27 February, and Taipei closes the run with two nights at Taipei Arena on 10 and 11 April.
Singapore’s show starts at 8pm at The Star Theatre. Taipei gets two nights while Singapore gets one. With a voice this intimate, a theatre feels like the right-sized room, even if a single night means fewer tickets to go around.
The concert is organised by SOZO, the Singapore-based KADOKAWA Group company behind Anime Festival Asia (AFA), which has produced live shows for Ado and YOASOBI. More Japanese acts are adding Singapore to their tours. BE:FIRST did it with its 2025 world tour, and singer-songwriter Mahiru plays her first Singapore show at Victoria Theatre on 29 November 2026.
7 Categories, S$98 to S$248
General sales open on SOZO Live at 12pm Singapore time (SGT) on 18 September 2026. There are seven categories (CAT): CAT 1 at S$248, CAT 2 at S$208, CAT 3 at S$168, CAT 4 at S$138, CAT 5 RV at S$128, CAT 6 at S$108, and CAT 7 at S$98.
The one to think twice about is CAT 5 RV, where RV stands for restricted view. It costs S$20 more than CAT 6 and S$30 more than CAT 7, and her Budokan production leaned hard on staging. If the Singapore show brings even some of that spectacle, you’ll want a clear view of the stage.
At the other end, CAT 7 at S$98 is the sole ticket under S$100. If hearing that voice live matters more to you than a close-up view, it’s the easy call, and a friendly one for student budgets.
CAT 1 is the one tier that comes with extras: a lanyard, a VIP badge and a poster with milet’s digital signature. So the S$40 jump over CAT 2 is basically what you pay for the merch. The signature is digital, not hand-signed, so this tier makes the most sense for collectors who’ll hang the lanyard next to their Frieren figures.
One more thing before you check out. SOZO’s past concert listings added a non-refundable booking fee and a transaction fee on top of ticket prices, and didn’t allow refunds or exchanges once a purchase went through. Expect to pay a little more than the listed price, and make sure your group can make the date before you pay.
