Somewhere in your parents’ storage box, there’s a Care Bear with a matted belly badge and a name you still remember. Cheer Bear? Grumpy Bear? Whichever one you claimed as yours at age five, it’s about to be on a clog you can wear to the coffee shop.
Skechers has teamed up with Cloudco Entertainment for the Skechers x Care Bears collection, launching in Singapore on 16 September 2026. Nine styles, prices from S$49, and enough glitter to make a Y2K mood board jealous.
The timing isn’t random. Care Bears turns 45 soon, which means the people who watched The Care Bears Movie on VHS are now the ones with disposable income and a soft spot for anything that smells like 1998.
The Grown-Up Pair Is the Clog
Here’s the part worth knowing before you get excited: the adult sizing in this drop is women’s only, and it lives entirely in the Foamies range. Two styles. That’s your lane.
The Foamies Max Cushioning at S$99 is the maximalist choice. Cheer Bear, Good Luck Bear, Grumpy Bear, Funshine Bear, Share Bear, and Sweet Dreams Bear all appear in poses across the side panel, and three of them get promoted to CaliBits charms floating among cloud graphics. It comes in Pink, Lavender, and White, and runs on a dual-density Max Cushioning midsole.

The Foamies Surge at S$69 is the calmer sibling. Rainbows, stars, sunshine, and clouds scatter across the side, with a Care Bears logo tucked in. Cheer Bear, Funshine Bear, Grumpy Bear, and Sweet Dreams Bear take the strap. Lavender, Blue, and Pink.
Both are machine washable and treated for anti-odour, which matters more than it sounds in Singapore weather. A foam clog you can throw in the wash is a foam clog you’ll still wear in month four.
S$69 Is the Interesting Number
For context on where this sits: Skechers’ Hello Kitty Foamies in Singapore run around S$89 for the women’s Foamies Tai, with the collectible Cali Bits charms at S$2.90 each. Crocs’ licensed character clogs push higher, with the Crocs x POP MART Skullpanda Bubble Crush Clogs at S$149.95 and LEGO x Crocs Brick Clogs reported at S$299.95 locally.

So the Surge at S$69 undercuts most of the nostalgia-clog field. That’s the pair to look at if you want the character shoe without the collector’s tax.
One thing the collection doesn’t promise is scarcity. There’s no limited-edition language attached to it, and Cloudco has Care Bears licensing deals running with other fashion partners in the same period, including an adidas Originals Care Bears collection for Fall/Winter 2026. This isn’t a one-shot drop you’ll never see again. Buy it because you want it, not because a countdown told you to.
Six Sneakers, All for Small Feet
The rest of the range is where the collection gets genuinely elaborate, and all of it is for girls and toddlers. If you’re shopping for a niece, a godchild, or a very lucky younger sibling, this is your section.

Hugs N Snugs (S$89, girls’, Blue Multi) and Lil Snugs (S$79, toddlers’, Blue Multi) share a glittery rainbow-print mesh upper and a 3-D side graphic featuring Cheer Bear, Grumpy Bear, and Share Bear. The girls’ version adds Good Luck Bear and Funshine Bear, and it lights up with movement. The toddler pair keeps the design and skips the lights.
The UNO Lite styles go for a sleeker look. Beary Friends (S$79, girls’) comes in four colourways, pairs a monochromatic durabuck upper with a quarter-zip closure and a Bear-face shoe charm, and sits on an Air-Cooled Memory Foam insole. Bear Spirit (S$69, toddlers’, Pink Multi) brings a printed lining and a character lace charm.
Then there’s Twinkle Toes, which is doing the most in the best way. Forever Care Bears (S$89, girls’, Multi) has a glittery synthetic upper, a lace-up mid-top cut, a side zip, and heart-and-star toe-cap details. Beary Friendly (S$79, girls’, Lavender Multi) runs an allover Care Bears print. Both have light-up rhinestone toe caps, and bigger kids’ sizes get an on/off light button, which is a small mercy for any parent who has tried to get a child to sleep in a room with blinking shoes.
The Foamies Swifters at S$49 is the girls’ clog and the cheapest thing in the collection. Rainbow strap, character CaliBits, one-piece EVA waterproof upper, and light-up details. Yellow, Purple, or Pink.

What Skechers Says About It
“Nostalgia is having its moment, and Care Bears is one of the most coveted childhood memories for millions of adults today,” said Michael Greenberg, President of Skechers. He framed the collection as “highly collectible”, which tracks with the CaliBits charm system running through the Foamies.
Robert Prinzo, Head of Global Licensing at Cloudco Entertainment, put the reasoning plainly: Skechers’ multi-generational reach makes it “a perfect home for Care Bears” as the brand approaches 45.
Translation: they know exactly who’s buying the S$99 pair, and it isn’t the toddlers.
One honest note on the foam: Skechers’ all-foam platforms are built for comfort first, and reviewers of the wider Foamies line consistently flag light arch support as the trade-off. These are errand shoes, beach shoes, and lepak shoes (that’s Singlish for lounging around with no particular agenda). They aren’t walking shoes for a full day at the zoo.
