Somewhere in your camera roll is a badly lit photo of a green cup on a study table at 11pm. Nobody meant to keep that one. It has survived three phone upgrades anyway.
Starbucks Singapore is betting that photo is worth something. On 8 September 2026, the chain opened its 30 Years of Shared Moments campaign, and the ask is blunt: hand over the memory.
From 9 September, customers can submit their favourite Starbucks moments at starbuckssingapore30th.com. Selected submissions get featured as part of the anniversary celebrations, and those storytellers receive 30 complimentary handcrafted beverages plus an exclusive Starbucks 30th Anniversary gift. Everyone who enters, winner or not, gets a mystery thank-you treat.

Three Decades Since Liat Towers
The maths holds up. The first Starbucks in Singapore opened at Liat Towers on 14 December 1996, which puts 2026 firmly in the brand’s 30th year here. One shopfront on Orchard Road, and everything since.
That original store has been folded into the celebration. Since 4 September, the Starbucks Adventure Journal has turned a coffee run into a stamp hunt across eight stores with stories attached: Liat Towers, the heritage shophouse outlets in Chinatown and Katong, Gardens by the Bay, Bird Paradise, and the Jewel flagship.
Collect a stamp at each store and the day out writes itself. It is a neat trick: the brand gets you into eight locations, and you get a keepsake that dates itself.

Jay Chou Lyrics, Colour Changing Cups
The Jay Chou + Starbucks collection arrives 9 September 2026 and it is three pieces of drinkware, no padding: a 16.5oz colour-changing stainless steel tumbler in white carrying lyrics, a second colour-changing tumbler in black, and a 31.5oz stainless steel cold cup. Keychains and pouches fill out the range, with motifs pulled from Jay’s musical world.
Where to buy it is the part to plan around. The collection sits at 25 selected stores, among them ION Orchard, Marina Bay Sands, Jewel 2, Gardens by the Bay, Paragon, and the Chinatown store at 37 Smith Street. Online, it opens on the Starbucks Online Store at 10am and on LazMall at 12pm.
For a catalogue that soundtracked a decade of secondary school bus rides, that is a narrow window. Anyone who has watched a Starbucks drop sell through by lunchtime knows the drill.

The Great Pumpkin Arrives
The Peanuts™ + Starbucks Collection follows on 15 September 2026, drawn from It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, the Halloween special that first aired in 1966. Ten collectibles: a stainless steel cold cup, a 24oz Great Pumpkin tumbler, a 14oz cold cup, a ceramic mug, a 16oz stainless steel tumbler, a Snoopy plush, a bag charm, a mini tote, and an enamel pin set.
Selected merchandise ships in exclusive Peanuts packaging, purchases are capped at two pieces per item per customer, and it goes in stores and on LazMall at noon while stocks last.
The Snoopy Glass Cold Cup is the piece doing the heavy lifting, finished with a Woodstock straw topper, a pumpkin-coloured hat and a small green scarf.

There is a die-cut Snoopy Starbucks card in the run as well, showing the beagle serving a cup on a pumpkin. Nobody needs a card shaped like a dog. That has never once stopped the queue.
Character merch is well-worn ground for Starbucks Singapore by now. The Chinatown store’s WHENIWASFOUR local-nostalgia range in 2025 ran on the same instinct, and the collectors who cleared that one out will recognise the two-per-item cap immediately.
Peanuts sits differently, though. The Great Pumpkin has been on television since 1966, which makes it the rare collab that a grandparent and a Gen-Z shopper can both name without checking.

PSL Returns, Built for the Heat
The Pumpkin Spice Latte is back on 9 September in its original hot form: signature espresso roast, steamed milk, pumpkin spice sauce, whipped cream, and a dash of pumpkin pie topping. Singapore weather being what it is, the cold formats do most of the work.
Those are the Pumpkin Spice Oatmilk Iced Shaken Latte, the Pumpkin Spice Coffee Frappuccino, the Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew, and the Nitro Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew. The series runs at all stores and on Mobile Order & Pay, with GrabFood and Foodpanda carrying everything except the Nitro. Sizes land around S$8.30 to S$9.50, which is seasonal-treat money rather than daily-caffeine money.
What the 30th Is Really Selling
Read the stack and the strategy is legible. Peanuts covers the childhood half of the audience, Jay Chou covers the teenage half, the PSL is a calendar ritual people already observe, and the contest asks customers to write the brand’s own history for it.

That last move is the smart one. Starbucks Singapore has spent 30 years sitting in the background of other people’s photos, from first dates to last-minute cramming to the quiet hour someone stole between two shifts, and this campaign asks for those photos back. Thirty years on, the most valuable thing in a Starbucks store is the table you sat at. The brand ran a lighter version of the same play with its SG60 Shiok Together local-flavour drinks in 2025. This one is aiming higher.
