If you thought you’d seen it all when the skies of Mount Faber turned into a sea of red and white Poké Balls back in 2023, think again. The team at Mount Faber Leisure Group is back at it, and this time, they aren’t just giving us a ride with a view—they’re giving us a full-blown mission.
From 22 November 2025 to 30 April 2026, the Singapore Cable Car is hosting the Pokémon Day-to-Night Adventure, and let me tell you, it is arguably the most immersive update to our skyline yet. Whether you’re a Gen 1 purist who still has their original Game Boy or a parent looking to exhaust the kids with a “wholesome” day out, this is it.
We took the trip up (and down, and up again) to give you the lowdown on why this isn’t just another sticker-slap campaign—and how you can turn a simple cable car ride into a full-day itinerary.
The “Two-in-One” Experience: Why You Can’t Just Go Once
Here is the kicker: you actually need to ride this twice. Unlike previous campaigns where the view was static, this experience changes completely when the sun goes down.
By Day: It’s a vibrant, Instagram-ready joyride. The cabins are wrapped in five distinct designs featuring the OGs: Pikachu, Eevee, Charmander, Jigglypuff, and Gengar. The interiors are fully decked out too—we’re talking themed floors and seats that make you feel like you’re sitting inside the anime. It’s colourful, it’s loud, and against the backdrop of the Sentosa-HarbourFront skyline, it’s a vibe.

By Night: This is where things get cool. From 7:45 PM, the cabins transform. You’re handed a complimentary UV torch upon boarding, and suddenly, you’re not just sightseeing; you’re treasure hunting. The cabin interiors are reactive to UV light, revealing hidden silhouettes of flying-type Pokémon like Charizard, Dragonite, and Aerodactyl.
And for the hardcore fans? There is a Mew hidden in only a single digit number of the cabins. Yes, a literal needle in a haystack situation. Finding it became the highlight of our night—it turns a scenic ride into a frantic, fun scramble with your UV lights.

The Ultimate Day-to-Night Itinerary (A.K.A. How to Maximize Your Ticket)
You’re paying for the experience, so you might as well make a day of it. Here is the danamic. approved agenda for a “Mega Day Out” that starts with a hike and ends with a hunt.
10:00 AM: The Warm Up at Marang Trail
Start at HarbourFront MRT (Exit D) and hit the Marang Trail. It’s a 15-minute trek—mostly stairs—that cuts through the forest and lands you right at Mount Faber Peak. It’s a great way to get the heart rate up before you indulge later!
12:00 PM: Lunch at Arbora Hilltop Garden & Bistro
Once you’re at the peak, head straight to Arbora. The view here is killer, sitting 100 metres above sea level.
- What to order: The Mount Faber Bamboo Nasi Lemak ($20). It’s served in an actual bamboo tube, which gives the rice a fragrant, earthy aroma you don’t get elsewhere.
- Pro-Tip: If you’re thirsty, their botanical-inspired drinks are a must-try to cool down after that hike!
2:00 PM: The Descent (Day Ride)
Hop onto the Singapore Cable Car (Mount Faber Line) for your first Pokémon encounter. Use this leg of the trip to appreciate the daytime designs. Spot the Eevees and Jigglypuffs wrapping the cabins and take your high-res photos while the lighting is perfect.

3:30 PM: Sensory Overload at Sentosa
Once you land on Sentosa, take a walk to the new Sentosa Sensoryscape. It’s a 350-meter sensory garden that connects Resorts World Sentosa to the beaches. It’s visually stunning and completely free. If you have the Cable Car SkyPass, you can also hop over to the Sentosa Line and visit SkyHelix Sentosa for an open-air panoramic ride that dangles your feet 79 meters in the air.
7:45 PM: The Main Event (Night Ride)
Make your way back to the cable car station. This is it. Grab your UV torch and board the cabin for the return trip to Mount Faber. The city lights of Keppel Bay are beautiful, sure, but keep your eyes on the cabin walls. This is your chance to find the hidden Gyarados (because surprise: if you didn’t know, it’s also a Flying-type!) and scan every inch for that elusive Mew.
The “Snap, Tag & Win” Giveaway
If the bragging rights of finding Mew aren’t enough, Mount Faber Leisure Group is sweetening the deal for the holidays.
From 1 to 31 December 2025, they are running a Snap, Tag & Win contest:
- The Mission: Post a photo of yourself in a cabin (Day or Night) on Instagram or TikTok.
- The Tag: Tag @MountFaberLeisure.
- The Loot: A Pokémon Gift Pack. They are picking 5 winners every week.
If you manage to snap a photo with the hidden Mew, you’re basically winning at life, but you might as well try to win a prize pack too!

Final Thoughts
We have seen plenty of IP collaborations in Singapore, but the Pokémon Day-to-Night Adventure feels different. It utilizes the unique lighting conditions of the cable car ride to create two genuinely distinct experiences.
It’s interactive, it’s nostalgic, and let’s be honest—hunting for invisible Pokémon with a UV light while suspended over a harbour is exactly the kind of fun we need right now.
See you in the skies, trainers!
