As the rainy season arrives, one company is helping you stay dry during this wet period. DETERMINANT is introducing its new Repel+ series of menswear, a new line that innovatively repels water and stains from its fabric.
The Hong Kong-based brand has been in the menswear business since 2020, uniquely differentiating themselves from the rest with technologically innovative clothes that are cleanly styled and have premium craftsmanship. And that ethos is also reflected in the new Repel+ series.
The Repel+ series

So how does it all work? Well, upon contact with the fabric, any water droplets bead up on the surface and roll off before they can penetrate into the fabric layer. At the same time, the Repel+ series has also been made such that tains, dust, and dirt do not adhere easily to the fabric.
The fabric itself is made with refined cotton and TENCEL, which gives a soft and luxurious feel on the skin. Better still, it is breathable – making it perfectly suited for the tropical climate here in Singapore.
DETERMINANT’s Repel+ comes in multiple styles as well, available as a Crew Neck T-shirt, a Polo ($75), or a Royal Oxford Dress Shirt.
The Repel+ Crew Neck T-shirts (S$55) are for those who want a versatile option—able to be worn on its own or used to complement your outer layers. It comes with four colour options: white, light blue, navy blue and reseda green.
Meanwhile, the Repel+ Royal Oxford Dress Shirts (S$100) provide a crisp look for the office, with Repel+ technology applied to every inch of the Oxford fabric, including the collars to reduce yellowing. You can pick between four colours: white, blue, khaki, and pink.

And finally, the Repel+ Polos (S$75) are a dressier variation of the T-shirt, adding definition to users’ silhouette with the inclusion of a collar and cuffed sleeves.
