Nong Geng Ji Lands at Jewel Changi Airport with Exclusive Dishes and Opening Promos

Did you hear? Jewel Changi Airport is set to become even more international as it welcomes Nong Geng Ji to the premises—one of the many fresh new slate of stores that are opening recently. And its latest outlet is bringing its comforting home-style Hunan cuisine to the masses at Jewel Changi Airport.

Nong Geng Ji at Jewel Changi Airport is the brand’s 8th outlet in Singapore, adding to its already vast network of over 100 stores worldwide in Hong Kong, Canada, and Malaysia.

But while you still can expect the same bold flavours for the food, the new Jewel Changi Airport is also bringing some exclusive offerings for visitors. Here’s what you can find at Nong Geng Ji at Jewel Changi Airport.

Exclusive dishes at Jewel Changi Airport

The Steamed Chicken with Chinese Bayberry Vinegar is a spicy new addition to the Nong Geng Ji menu

Fans of Nong Geng Ji can order returning favourites like the Stir-Fried Pork with Abalone & Chilli as well as the Sauerkraut Fish with Soup, but also on the menu, visitors can experience exclusive dishes found only at the Jewel Changi Airport outlet.

The Steamed Chicken with Chinese Bayberry Vinegar (S$14.80) is the first of the new signature additions, with the Chinese bayberry vinegar bringing a tangy profile to the overall dish. Be careful though! It also packs a rather spicy punch with it!

Next up is the Chef’s Signature Open-fire Roasted Chicken (S$24.80), where visitors can enjoy the smoky and aromatic taste of chicken that’s been perfectly roasted by Nong Geng Ji.

The Claypot Mature Kampong Duck is packed full of savouriness and flavour

Chicken isn’t all that they’ve got. The Claypot Mature Kampong Duck (S$25.80) sees tender mature duck slow-cooked in a claypot, the savoury taste enhanced with the addition of chillis and spices.

For something on the lighter side, customers can also opt for the Hunan Rice Noodles with Braised Sauce (S$12.80), a dry-style noodle dish that uses authentic Hunan braised sauce topped with a comfy serving of beef and hard-boiled eggs.

Lastly, for desserts, Nong Geng Ji is adding some local flavour with the Pandan Coconut Jelly (S$5.80). This refreshing dessert comes with fragrant pandan and smooth coconut jelly, creating a dish that is very reminiscent of Chendol, a dessert we are all familiar with!

We also got to try different creations like the Termite Mushrooms Marinated in Homemade Sauce (S$8.80), Chilli Pan Mee (S$11.80), Avocado Salad (S$13.80), and Cantonese Style Claypot Rice with Cured Meats (S$15.80) within the menu—so that means more reason to return to try the various dishes!
