Catch this year’s edition of Singapore’s largest nocturnal experience before it ends this September! Singapore Night Festival 2025 presents a celebration that extends beyond the Bras Basah.Bugis precinct with roving performances, village festivals, and more.
Fan favourites of previous festivals will also be making a return, including a new series of projection mapping installations by local and international artists, as well as Night Lights sculptures across hotspots like Funan, Bugis+, and Plaza Singapura. Last but not least, keep an eye out for the puppetry shows happening that are sure to delight both young and old.

Sticking to the topic of food, we also have Singapore Food Festival 2025 happening this September. The festival is a celebration of all things food, bringing visitors together on an unforgettable culinary adventure through a mix of events and pop-up activations.
One of the highlights is the SG60 Food Truck Park, which sees roving food trucks popping up across the country and offering an eclectic range of Singaporean-inspired food to the masses — from local favourites to newly reimagined bites.

Painting with Light 2025

Cinephiles, this is your thing! The National Gallery’s annual film festival, Painting with Light, is back, bringing over 45 feature-length and short films from around the world to our shores. That includes the local premiere of Magellan, fresh from its screening at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, alongside other newly commissioned and restored works.
Beyond fiction, the film festival also spotlights both past and present real-world issues through its curated lineup of documentaries, tackling topics like colonialism in Brazil, racial tensions in Israel, and the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and Myanmar.

Let’s Play! The Art and Design of Asian Games

Since the dawn of time, games have brought people together, and in Asia, that’s no different. The region has given some of humanity’s most iconic forms of play, and as such, the Asian Civilisations Museum is celebrating that heritage with Let’s Play! — an exhibit exploring the roles Asian games have played in shaping culture.
Beyond showcasing over 150 pieces of art and artefacts, this exhibit will let you relive history through a wealth of interactive stations, outdoor installations, and newly commissioned works by contemporary designers.

As part of its Nation by Design theme, the 11-day event is bringing design to each corner of the Lion City by taking place not just at the National Design Centre, but also across Bras Basah.Bugis, Marina, Orchard, and Singapore Science Park as well.
Specifically, the festival hub and its four districts will host a wide range of programmes such as talks, exhibits, and fairs to showcase Singapore’s distinctive brand of creativity in extraordinary ways.
