Sunshine Introduces New KOMUGI GOLD Bread Series with Dark Rye Komugi Loaf

Notice that your Sunshine bread is getting more atas? That might be the new KOMUGI GOLD line! And with it, comes the launch of the Sunshine KOMUGI GOLD Dark Rye Komugi Loaf.

Sunshine isn’t a stranger to offering premium editions of their bread; you might recognise the SHOKUPAN GOLD label when grocery shopping, which produced delectable offerings like the Brioche Butter Loaf, Butter Shokupan Loaf, and the Purple Sweet Potato Shokupan Loaf. But with KOMUGI GOLD, this is their first premium wholemeal loaf range.

Inspired by the high standards of Japanese bakes, this new launch is likewise crafted with quality in mind for those who appreciate the Japanese dedication to detail and balance. The Sunshine KOMUGI GOLD Dark Rye Komugi Loaf is also set to be the first in a two-part series.

The wholemeal bread is made with premium Japanese Komugi flour, bringing slices of exceptionally pillowy bread with refined layers of taste and texture. It is also blended with six nutritious grains and seeds — oats, barley, dark rye, flax seeds, chia seeds, and sunflower seeds — to offer satisfying and multi-textured bread.

In each bite, you’ll be able to get gentle nutty undertones and a delicate hint of maple aroma, providing everyone with a unique taste experience. It’s such that the loaf is suited for both sweet and savoury pairings, making it a versatile option when having it as part of your meal.
